Here is a short interview with the CEO.
He discusses the properties and the need for the NI43-101. It is a few months old but I think it answers some of the common questions that people have here.
Anybody seen this promotional video about the Benton Mine.
I have been following the company for more than a week. Bought in at cheap levels at that time. Tried to get in touch with the company the last two days. Could not get through to the CEO but I was put through to another lady she was able to answer some of my questions.
She said that they would put out a PR shortly.
Secondly I asked about the Benton Mine issue. She said the dispute is resolved. I don't know if the mine is back in operation nor did I ask. She mentioned that that a representative will call me back when he gets more time. I was told that there were some foreign visitors in town and he was busy entertaining them.
As always good luck in your investments and do your own DD.
Nice post. With the advent of the bad economy we have many super heros coming out of the woodwork everyday. Except these superheros have a remarkable knack of doing DD in the pinks and BB for other investors.
Is it a rotary engine, surfboard...no it is the Pink DD man.
Good luck in your investments guys.
I talked to the company yesterday. There is a fair bit of good things comings our way. Based on my assessment this might come in a short period of time. Talk to the company you might get more insight.
You might want to at least consider a small starter position and than wait on the news. Based on the price movement, anything under 0.0132 seems like a good buying point. Just my opinion of course. Obviously you might want to mitigate risk and do your own DD.
HLNT has not appreciated much with news recently. I think that is going to change.
Good luck in your investments.
One think of note is that they were producing and selling gold in 2007 and 2008. They had a dispute with the mine owner and stopped production. The company still has all the equipment.
I was told by the company today that the dispute has been resolved. I hope they start producing from the Benton Mine. There would be instant revenue if that happened.
Check the promotional video back when it was trading in the dollar range.
http://www.tradersnation.com/dgri.shtml
Anyway here is to hoping.
Good luck guys.
I am holding my shares as well. My other gold play exploded today. I was accumulating for a few days on that one. It was a nice surprise.
Hopefully Monday is better here.
Yes they had a gold producing mine that was shut down because of a dispute with the owners.
I called the company today and they said that the dispute has been resolved. They did not elaborate further. Hopefully they start producing again. That would be great. I am speculating on the outcome so please do your own DD before investing.
I was also told that a PR should be out shortly.
You should call the company and verify. If they can right the ship than this sounds like a good deal.
Good luck on your investments.
come on guys...
This is like two fleas arguing over who owns the dog they live in. :)
Good luck with your investments. I bought more in this price range. Hopefully we have some good news coming in soon.
I am not sure of this but it was posted on this board for a brief moment that he has a good number of shares. If the numbers quoted were right we will feel the pinch if he sells.
I think his message could have been phrased differently but he did bring up a few good points.
Any good news has been followed by selling into the wind. I believe that has stopped the run a few times. This is just my opinion of course. You can't stop people from doing that. They need to mitigate risk for themselves.
The other point he made was that, we need to move out of micro cap to get institutional interest. Institutionals do not take out milk money everyday, retailers do. If stability is what we need than that is what we should strive for.
For that to happen we need an explosive PR that has some numbers that we can sink our teeth into. It seems tha investors at these levels need to know how much the contract is worth to be coaxed into buying.
Personally I think that this is just growing pains and we will move out of this in due course.
just my take on things.
If you check the allied website you might find that allied owns the concession.
http://alliedminingandsupply.com/pdf_files/Active_Industrial_Mineral_Rights_June_2009.pdf
GSR had a JV with Mano River Resources Inc, Mano has since merged with African Aura Resources Ltd. The African Aura website does not mention the concession.
You are running around with an old link and stretching the facts me thinks.
I disagree if the company delivers, the price appreciation is a forgone conclusion.
Say that they deliver on the funding and the assay results come in for the extended property. Keep in mind the gold here is alluvial. It is easier to mine and don't forget that they have rare earth as well. They can sell the rare earth without refining and still make money. Steve mentioned that they are testing the rare earth in Europe as we speak. They are also extending the original NI 41 to include the extended property.
The company has many options to make a name for itself, provided they play their cards right.
It is just that pennyland is full of people who want instant returns.
Tight floats appreciates and depreciates very fast. Personally I have played some and would like to keep away from tight floats. just my opinion.
Good luck on your investments.
I think all of them are in a room watching the tape together. lol
Nice post. I feel the sameway. Friends of mine took a wait and see approach to see how well the stock held above the penny mark. Most have bought in and will be buying at higher levels as well. These are people who play in the big boards so the way they approach an investment is quite different from much of the pennyland crowd.
I think as the price appreciates we will get more and more long term investors. Much is dependent on the company bringing in more explosive news.
Patience is key here. Although the run up on the financials was not impressive I do know of some individuals who took up a positions and have still not sold out.
We cruised in the 001 to 002 price ranges for a long time before we shot up. It is the same here I believe we will be here till the news arrives and then we will move on from there.
Did he not tell us that he needed to sell at the penny mark to break even...
on another occasion he mentioned that he lost money and wanted to help unsuspecting investors.
Now is a bounce player again. lol
I got the same feeling when I talked to him last week. I think if they take care of business than the price should see a healthy appreciation.
The staff that they have assembled is stellar.
On more than one occasion people have pointed out that the charges were dropped and yet you have never responded to that. I have done some research of my own and I agree with them.
With the team that has been assembled by SNEY I think it is just a matter of time for it push up to pennyland.
Some of the people on the SNEY management team would not risk their reputation on a dubious venture.
A little while ago you mentioned you were here for a bounce play. Before that you mentioned that you lost money at SNEY and wanted to protect unsuspecting investors. I have even heard you say that you got out before you lost money.
How can you expect anybody to take you argument seriously when the case that you paint is so ambiguous.
Personally I think in anticipation of the news everyone started buying. When the news hit some selling into the news since a lot of people bought in the 2,3 and 4. In addition I think the forward split and the drop sometime ago put a lot of shares in the hands of the MMs. When the news hit I was able to buy on the bid. On Friday I don't believe we could buy on the bid anymore which is a good sign. Looks like the bollies are beginning to pinch. It is just a matter of time before this shoots up. just my opinion.
You have any prove to support your theory that there were no sales? you know the answer so how can I take you seriously.
Anyways since I did not take your advice I made some good coin.
Eitherway here is a song that tells you how I feel about HLNT. I think the people familiar with the situation might appreciate it.
Ground control to Major Tom Ground control to Major Tom:
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on
Ground control to Major Tom: Commencing countdown Rotary engine's on
Check ig-nition and may God's save you now
This is ground control to Major Tom, you've really made the grade!
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear,
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
This is Major Tom to ground con-trol, I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating in the most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
For here am I sitting in a tin can, far above the world
HLNT is looking good and there's nothing I can do
BRIDGE
Though I'm passed one hundred thousand miles, I'm feeling very still
And I think this surfboard with a Rotary Engine ain't gonna
work.
Ground control to Major Tom:
Your Rotary Engine is dead, there's something wrong.
Can you hear me Major Tom?
Can you hear me Major Tom?
Can you hear me Major Tom? Can you ...
Here am I floating round on my tin surf board, far above the moon
HLNT is pulling away and there's nothing I can do
Well we have a corporate job opportunity here for you. Let me clue you in. It is a good opportunity to support the ask.
I know I have been buying. What say you.
PS : Please do not send me that link that shows you how to draw trend lines. It has been a long time since I picked up a crayon. :)
If they have a 43-101 that would mean that they have proven resources. It should be easier for them to get the funding.
They claim rare earth on the ground; based on the high demand for rare earth funding should not be an issue. Just my opinion of course.
I talked to Steve today and he mentioned that they have sent the rare earth to an European refinery. If good results come from this than financing and refining help would be available. Based on my understanding there are not many companies equipped to refine rare earth.
Keep in my mind they are debt free and fully reporting. I bought in the 2s so I am just enjoying the ride. Good luck.
Just my opinion but I think you should talk to Steve. He is forthright and will provide some insight into the various options that they are working on.
I keep repeating myself but the rare earth play could be big and it should pay instant dividends.
Nice post, I talked to him some time ago. They have plans to start mining immediately both in Ghana and Sierra Leone.
Steve mentioned that they were going to rent the equipment rather than buy them. Cost is going to be much lower. This would mean it would be non dilutive as well.
Also mentioned that the rare earth is being inspected by some refiners in Belgium so developments from that angle might come soon.
What is more it seems that they retired all their debt. Junior exploration firm without ant debt.
If I may add funding should not be a problem if they have rare earth. China has a monopoly on rare earth and has recently reduced supply substantially. Unlike gold rare earth is a necessity. Mining rare earth from what I understand is a bit expensive. Maybe they would consider a JV which might bring in instant dollars and less cost for the company. I am speculating on the JV so please do your own DD before investing.
The company so far has used the revenues in a very responsible fashion. I don't know if they currently have the money for a huge publicity blitz but I do think that Dong Feng will market the HOSS aggressively. I believe this will create a lot of news and publicity on the web.
In addition I think they have recorded a show with 21st Century Television which should air soon. I think this should have a segment on the HOSS ATV as well.
I really like the way the company gets the word out on the hydrogen hybrid. They have dealers who sell the product to the local crowd plus participate in trade/agricultural shows, this in turn creates a wave of interest. I am sure there are reporters who come to these shows and if the product is successful the word gets around some more. Also sites like SFCDirect are going to carry the product which carries another wave of interest/advertising.
At the end of the day HLNT does not need to spend huge amounts to market this as long as they have very good strategic partners/dealers. It also allows Mt Coats and his staff to use this money for certification, testing and expansion which is needed to attract the bigger fleets and companies. Primariliy the dealers handle the retail crowd which allows the company the time and resources to handle the big fish.
Just my observation/opinion
Nice read if anyone is interested.
http://www.voanews.com/english/news/asia/Lack-of-Rare-Earth-Could-Cause-Major-Problems-103898893.html
Here is a small excerpt that I found interesting.
Last week, a US House committee agreed and approved a bill that would, among other things, provide loan guarantees for US companies wishing to start up rare earth material mining. Committee Chairman Bart Gordon said it was essential for the United States to start providing its own rare earth materials.During the Committee's markup hearing, Representative Gordon (D-TN) said “I believe it would be foolish to stake our national defense and our economic security on China’s good will, or hope that it will choose to compete in a fair and open global marketplace for rare earth. The stakes are simply too high.”
The US Defense Department is compiling a report on the national security impact of US dependence on the Chinese provided materials and this week, a Senate committee will probe the issue as well.
If their claims are right and there is substantial rare earth than the company would have no problems finding financing. Rare earth mining companies are set for an explosion now that China has substantially reduced the supply.
Let's not forget this is a very under priced rare earth play as well. Personally that is what really caught my eye.
yup looking good.
The float and the outstanding as mentioned in their website is.
# Total Issued and Outstanding: 946,197,880
# Public float approximately 450,000,000
The market seems a little slow to appreciate this company. Here is an interesting read about rare earth. I think so many people are so fixated by gold these days that not many appreciate what a find rare earth is.
www.wealthdaily.com/articles/rare-earths-the-world-trade-organization-just-screwed-you/2793
In my opinion this baby should explode if they are close to producing rare earth.
What is more SNEY claims to have both gold and rare earth. This could get interesting.
NEWS!!!!!
I would be really impressed if that were to happen. I have never had high hopes for that part of the business.
I think it is mostly internet sales right now. Maybe a more knowledgeable poster like D&S might know more about this business.
Once again I believe that all of this is possible because the Hydrogen hybrids sales are bringing in healthy revenues which in turn has helped us with mass manufacturing of HOSS and maybe it might help us with the truck beds as well. Time will tell.
Hard to find companies with good revenues and low debt in Penny land. I personally believe this might be one of them. The quarterlies will answer some questions in that direction.
Regards
I am with you on that one. The fact that we are involved with a billion dollar company and the fact that HLNT does not need to dilute to fund something is a major coup. I am excited that revenues are going to support business initiatives. Just ask PD his company is still trying to dilute to make the Rotisserie ovens (sorry I meant Rotary Engines).
I think people are forgetting that we are still in penny land. Personally I think this is but growing pains but I am sure that there are those that will disagree.
In any event as was mentioned before we need to look at the royalties before casting a judgment on this.
The grant for me is a good to have but not a necessity. Once again just my opinion.
Quarterly reports on the other hand are very important for us to get a pulse on the health and progress of the company. This is something that I am really looking forward to.
What is funny is that is that, when I did my initial DD many months ago I did not think of HOSS as a major contributor to revenue. Now I am quietly confident that we have something more to look towards. Many of my initial reservations are gone. In addition the management has surprised me with their initiatives. They went to China to discuss the hydrogen supplements now we are talking about three deals plus more. HOSS was not even in the picture and yet today people are disappointed that we did not negotiate a good deal for HOSS. That to me is a very positive development. If at all I think people are being spoiled over here. Once again just my opinion.
I think people should mitigate risk accordingly but personally I have gained too much from this stock and management to be disheartened. Every time I turn around there is a new opportunity for the company. Once again rather than just depending on the message boards a conversation with the company could provide a lot more insight. Good luck guys.
Thanks
Raju
Just got a response from Mr Coates. I am a long time investor and after the post from Rocky I contacted Mr.Coates with a few questions. I don't really like to post much but I do read the boards from time to time.
An R/S is not in the picture, to quote him "i believe i expressed my utter dislike for reverse splits".
It is quite obvious the man does not like the sound of an R/S. The good news is that he responded immediately. That says a lot about him and his concern for the average shareholder.
In addition he mentioned "Dong Feng would be fantastic, however, what we have cooking on our side of the globe is just as big in my opinion"
This has been mentioned by a number of people in the board so please stay tuned to development and contracts on our side of the globe as well.
From what I can gather he seems confident on the Dong Feng deal.
Hope this helps.
Raju
