I think there are two ways to play their card. One is a conventional way just go ahead with their biz-mass produce the units and sell the heck a lot of it. Or, two is to stir the interest in the industry. Showcase its business to several of major players in the industry. Pitch your breakthrough technology and their paper orders. Then entertain the buyout offer. I personally believe the second route is the best option for them giving AMF situation. Of course, there may be a better option available.
Give them a bit more time, Robert has just come back. IMO, he may just complete the prototype. Let him do an in house test, then UMC will have the unit for a third party test.
That's true. A lot of speculation on several things. The fact was Wanderport has just mentioned the show, but have yet confirmed place, date and nature of their presence at the show. I believe it was from the delay of MCMWH prototype. If I were them, how I could make an announcement at that stage.
Having said that, if the prototype is now completed and tested, Wanderport may still do one of the trade shows if schedule permits. Or, they just hold their own investor/manufacturer meeting. If they got the water heater, people would show up. Like I said, if only they got the prototype completed and tested, things after that would be much more bearable.
Just to be clear. Robert has recently come back last week or so. Plus, Wanderport is not in a website development business. Just get the water heater done and tested, then sky is the limit.
Back with confidence...Go WDRP....
Folks, this is going to be great. Go WDRP....
I hope that too.
They own the right as a sole licensee of the technology and distribution, whoever acquires them own that right too. On Robert's end, it would not be any different. Anyway, first thing first, Robert has to get his innovation completed.
These guys are a low budget startup firm with current filing status (which is great). The way they operate may not be quite like a full fledged company. IMO, when they have a product ready to launch, they would stir interests in the industry, get acquired, and enjoy their success. IMO, they seem to have no outfit for a large operation; unless major organization overhauling happens.
At this point, we just have to appreciate November's AMF hearing that motivates Wanderport to get the works done probably in October. A critical path for the firm is to get the MCMWH prototype completed and tested (by in house and 3rd party). Then, things after that would be easily bearable. Giving the collaboration of Design 1st and Robert, at this point, thing seems to be very promising.
Well said. Go WDRP...
I think it was because there is nothing to report at this point. Now Robert is back with the parts to get the prototype done. Soon there would be an update on the product development.
What is the big deal with a website? If the website is up today and the prototype is not completed, I wonder if someone will call that another fluffy PR. The guy who is so concerned about website now was the person who was so concerned about TA problem, which later turn out to be nothing.
This is a startup company with a product in development. What makes the company is not a website, staff, it is the product. If the product is marketable, then everything else would follow.
Just finish the MCMWH prototype and provide good test results. Trade show or not is pretty much secondary and after the fact ..
Good point. Not sure if it was the exact part they mentioned.
I heard from other source too and confirmed the same thing. As far as why he has to physically be there for this particular part I do not know. I guess he is motivated to get this done.
LOL, that would be a real surprise. Who knows?
Another possibility that Tani mentioned was a Special Events time slot called 'New Technology Breakfast' on Wednesday, October 12th that allows a company to showcase their technologies with a brief presentation.
Did you mean Robert had just left on Wed or Thurs?
Very good point. Those phenomena could happen when there are fluctuation in the water distribution system of your apartment, or your municipality due to changes in water quality, pipeline repair. Most of the time it would be scaling deposit-calcium carbonate compounding with other stuff etc. Normally this hiccup in the system would not last more than a few seconds. Having said that, in specific cases that water quality is really out of whack (MCL for iron concentration in potable water is 0.3 ppm), I see it may be something to look into as far as the efficiency.
Now, the concern of life expectancy of magnetron over the metal utensils or rust in this matter would be the extended periods of back-feeding R. F. energy, which raises the magnetron tube's filament temperature. In our case, the magnetron is submerged and water cooled. I do not think it would be a big concern, IMO.
One thing we could be assured is there probably are no metal spoon, fork coming with the tap water pipe, so Wanderport innovation should be safe from that aspect. LOL. Life expectancy of the unit is a good point to verify when the specification comes out. Go WDRP...
Next week would get us closer to the big ticket PR. Go WDRP.....
When the product hits the market, what they estimated would be too low. This thing would be sold like a hot cake. Go WDRP....^^
Thank you for sharing. Go WDRP..^^
Sorry to hear that. Get well soon my friend.
Sorry to hear that. Get well soon my friend.
What are talking about is probably correct for manufacturing process. For a product development, it could be different, especially when one determines to get something done on time.
Mid of October is for a trade show that UMC is talking about. They mention that the CC also.
Am I scaring you? Sorry, I did not mean to. Some engineering tasks are not like buying a product online. Some needs discussions and presence.
Probably no PR today or tomorrow, IMO, but people may hear that Robert would make a trip to pick up a part for his prototype himself. This is to ensure that the working prototype would be completed and tested prior to mid of October. This signals that he takes this October milestone seriously.
A lot of speculations these days....I guess I could use a PR to clarify several points like TA replacement, parts shipping status, AMF hearing, trade show, a new website, etc. After several weeks of constant dragging to this pps level, IMHO a good clarification would trigger a significant upswing.
A PR this week or next would be nice, folks. Go WDRP......
Busy these days, but still long and strong.
People knows that no major news will come out until later Sept, and no point to argue with some posters either. So why not enjoy the rest of the summer? ^^
Hard to agree on your point of view. I see this company is quite the same as what it was last couple of months. Since they have never diluted the shares, I believe them when they said there is no change on the share structure.
Response from Wanderport on TA's matter.
Dear xxx,
Share structure has not changed and is exactly the same as what is represented in our filings on OTCmarkets.com. We are aware of the problem at National and in the process of rectifying the situation so that Wanderport remains in no way affected.

i did not follow the board closely last week. What's up with TA concern?
I understand his frustration.
Gold, you are a good man.
Several ways to pursue this. They'd have to weigh the risk benefit of those options.
I understand your frustration, but I could only offer you the truth I learned.
There are several ways to pursue that. Buying parts abroad and fabricate it here, IMO, is the best alternative. They got the best protection and least cost. Once they start their production, alternatively they could choose to order the parts in the US or Canada also. This is pretty much their call based on risk benefit analysis. That would be possible. For the moment, a special order of four pieces would either be declined or cost them arms and legs.
From one of the conversations, Robert mentioned that the parts were taking a little longer because the handful items ordered (I think a total of 4 PCB's) were being made offline, not on a production line. Because that was not a production order with the factory, WDRP was not getting the priority there.
Meanwhile, his other work with Design 1st is on schedule. Once the part comes, the units would be wrapped up rather quickly. We talked about not many weeks from now.
