And that is EXACTLY why TDGI at these prices is extremely cheap in my opinion.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
TDGI!
Agreed. Too much info and potential and happenings for us not to get above .10 within January!
TDGI!
Let's take out the .048-ish resistance today and put that behind us. That's so 2010!
TDGI!
Agreed, I think we can easily attain .10 before the shareholders meeting. Lots of solid, concrete info to start trickling out.
For all the daytraders or shorters:
Please search another weak stock with no firm base .
You will not be able to break TDGI momo, those times have passed.
You are only wasting your time.
I'm thinking we get a little more clarity on the Fox/TDGI relationship at the shareholder meeting. Maybe in addition to unveiling some new films to release in 2011, we'll also hear that Fox is on board for some of them. I really, really like this Fox relationship. It's a major money maker!
I would love to see us retest .06 early this week. We have SO MUCH more at this point versus when TDGI topped out at .06 many months ago. There is real substance behind this move. I really don't think there's that much resistance beyond where we're at - besides our never ending d-bag seller. But even he/she has to run out sooner or later. Getting our PPS north of .10 will take away these people who want to flip 5,000 shares. TDGI will not be stopped!
I hear some of them had to travel to gophilipgo since the storms caused severe devastation. Maybe they had relatives in that Pennsylvania area?
Gooooooo TDGI...
Where to Find Twelve
TDGI's movie Twelve can be found at such fine retailers as Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Sears, Amazon.com, Overstock.com and more than likely several others.
Twelve is also available for instant viewing at the following places:
Amazon VOD
Comcast VOD
DirecTV VOD
Verizon FIOS VOD
iTunes - # 19
Blockbuster
What this all translates into is a butt load of profit for TDGI! Only .045 PPS? Get out of here!
Our little "pinger" got his/her order in late to try to close us below .045, but it was a FAIL.
TDGI just cannot be stopped at this point!
Close over .045. THIS IS SIGNIFICANT!
TDGI
Agreed, I remember you posting about that movie awhile ago and how it made you feel actually stupid for having seen it. Now, if 914,000 DVDs were sold on that awful movie, there's a very, very good chance that Twelve with Chase and Emma could bring in numbers close to or above that for sure. As we all know, Twelve wasn't really marketed all that well at the box office. I imagine there are tens of thousands of people out doing their post Christmas shopping right now presumably seeing a movie with Chase and Emma in it that didn't even know it existed. These stars have a huge fan base. Now they're seeing these stars in a movie they didn't know existed and/or never saw it at the box office at nearly every retailer they're going into. Sweet...
Hell, I'd think we have a huge success if we did half the numbers of that crappy movie. We have a very fair shake at it! I wanted to point out that a movie that didn't do well at the box office still can bring home the bacon in the DVD/VOD market. Twelve will do exactly that.
Good thing is, even if my numbers aren't on the low side, TDGI is making money period. Since there won't be any dilution, that supports a nice steady growth of the PPS. Couple that with the pending shareholders meeting and the audit coming up, and we're in for a nice, steady rise well north of where we are today. Throw in T3000, and your guess is as good as mine how far that will take us.
.042 about to fall. It's off to the races after that.
TDGI!
You may be right, Ryan. I'm not sure what the retailer's percentage is on a given DVD unit. I may be off since I have no verifiable info to substantiate what the retailer gets off a DVD unit.
The essence of what I'm trying to convey is when all is said and done, I can easily see Twelve having sold at least 500,000 DVD/Blu Ray units and have 500,000 rentals via VOD. My hope is that more than that happens. I'm sure Eric will apprise us of exactly what's occurring at the shareholders meeting.
Cheers, and go TDGI!
I think we may be getting those numbers at the shareholder meeting. Of course, TCF has metrics by which they can determine exactly how much revenue a given title can generate in the DVD/Blu Ray market. They didn't just gamble on taking Twelve and hoping it did well. They must have a proprietary formula they use to calculate what the projection of sales of a given title will be. That said, TCF has far reaching relationships with retailers that allow them to do that. So with Twelve, they have a movie with recognizable stars. They know they have firm commitments in place with retailers to take "X" amount of units of a given film. They could easily have commitments for 1 million units on a film like this. Now, what they negotiated with TDGI is unknown at this point. But the veil will be pulled back shortly and all will see exactly how much TDGI is making on the deal. I'm sure we'll never know the deal between TCF and TDGI exactly. But we'll see the bottom line impact of the deal and can figure it out that way.
No matter how we look at it, getting TCF to distribute Twelve was a major, major development for TDGI. Now if we can only find out if TCF has signed on board for other titles, we'll be good to go. Think T3000...
Incorrect, my math implies what TDGI sees from the deal. I put a conservative estimate that TDGI would get $7.50 per unit on Twelve. That leaves another $12.50 in revenue from one DVD unit sold. I assume TCF would get an equal to or greater share per unit than does TDGI. So say TCF gets $7.50 per unit on Twelve as well. That means $15 is accounted for leaving $5.00 per unit for the retailer. The retailer has to make some money too. VOD was a total guess on my part as to what TDGI would bring in.
I don't think I'm that far off on my estimates based on the research into this that I've done. No matter, I feel I put out there conservative estimates for sales of Twelve. I think it will blow my conservative estimates away, and then this point is moot.
Do the math...
If you have any doubt whether TDGI is making money, all you have to simply do is the math. First, TDGI is not diluting, so we know that whatever profits TDGI makes will not be offset via dilution reflected in the PPS so we can take that off the table.
Now, we know Twelve is in every major retailer in the USA. There's actual proof of that. We also know it's on every major VOD outlet I can find:
Amazon VOD
Comcast VOD
DirecTV VOD
Verizon FIOS VOD
So here's the math. Say all said and done, TCF gets ONLY 500,000 units of Twelve sold nationally and say they only get $7.50 for every unit sold (very conservative), TDGI will net $3.75 million. Now further say all these VOD outlets combined get ONLY 500,000 rentals and TDGI conservatively gets $2.00 per rental. That's another $1 million to TDGI. So conservatively, TDGI grosses $4.75 million on Twelve alone. Remove the $2 million paid for the the acquisition of the company, and another $1 million for marketing/distribution, that's $3 million paid back leaving $1.75 million conservatively to TDGI in profit.
Now factor in Racing Dreams and now the upcoming movie Girlfriend. Add in all the books and their legacy library. How much profit is going to TDGI then? No brainer...
Wow, there's some GREAT developments here with Twelve. How long before TDGI just goes ballistic? You can't deny the exposure Twelve is getting by partnering with Twentieth Century Fox. Do some quick math. Say they sell ONLY 500,000 copies of Twelve. Say TDGI only gets $7.50 per copy (very conservative). This means TDGI grosses $3.75 million on Twelve in DVD sales. Never mind VOD and any other ventures they have for Twelve. Let's also throw in Racing Dreams for good measure. All the folks saying TDGI was about finished, etc., we DEAD WRONG. TDGI is a cash cow in the making.
EP has hinted towards alot going on and I believe there is a reason he's having a shareholder meeting, he's got the goods...
Nice video chart, Snake. We know that at .04 we are practically at the bottom here anyway. Folks may try to tell us TDGI is a dud, but despite NO news and seemingly nothing happening for several months, we could never close below .02. That means we have a solid, solid base. This chart shows that.
We are looking good for sure here! Nice PR after hours yesterday completely outlining some key things for us. Looks like EP has some surprises coming up for us at the shareholders meeting and beyond. When TDGI starts to run, it's anyone's guess as to how high we go. I've seen junky pink sheet companies run 100s of percent on half the news we're sitting on.
And don't assume Twelve won't be a commercial success on DVD/VOD since it flopped in theaters. You do realize that the TCF deal was *key* for TDGI making that film profitable. TCF has deals in place with large retailers with minimum orders to move units in stores and pay upfront for them. So if TCF could get 10 million units committed to all its key retailers, they would have ordered 10 million units from TDGI and paid TDGI *upfront* for those units of Twelve. Say they only paid them $2 per unit. Can you do math? That's huge. Now, 10 million units is a huge number. But plug in your own reasonable number and do the math. The stupid argument that Twelve is a flop is naive. Welcome to the new world of digital media.
We're moving on up...
None of the mooks mouthing off here about TDGI will be at the shareholder meeting. They don't have the courage to say these things in person, they'd rather hide behind a keyboard and be cyber big shots.
It's Christmas time, and I'm placing a self-imposed ban on replying to any of our resident bashers here. This is a time of joy and thanksgiving, not a time to be mired arguing with slack-jawed ninnies about whether we're going to have a shareholder meeting or not. I suggest us longs enjoy the season and let those who are miserable wallow in it. TDGI is a positive company with great things on the horizon.
Hope everyone enjoys their family and friends over the next several days! Merry Christmas!
TDGI!
Thanks for posting that EBL. Looks like the TCF deal is really paying off. They have Twelve in some of the world's largest retailers.
TDGI!
Yeah, the Google translator is notably horrible. It's good for a laugh. People like you embody the typical investor in TDGI. You get what the company is all about, understand that it takes time to grow a good, solid business and most of all you're patient.
Andale TDGI!!!!!
No worries, it's still there. It's on "inactive" status more than likely so shareholders don't see the old meeting date and time. Here's the link:

TDGI!
Hey Alejandro! Buenos tardes! Usted no deberá tener sus acciones para hacer durante muchos años una gran ganancia.
As we move closer to the meeting date, we'll have a sticky at the top of the message board on all the specifics for the meeting. Thanks for checking in!
TDGI!!!
Official close was .0399. .036 was a T trade at 4:00:28.
TDGI goes green again it appears!
Imagine that, a CEO who listens to actual shareholders. This moving of the date was presumably due to shareholders requesting the date be moved to a weekend so they could attend. Thanks, TDGI!!!!
Your post is intentionally misleading, and you know that. This doesn't revise the AGENDA only the date.
So by your post you are conceding that the audit was ON the table, right? Oh, got you now.

Thanks for the update, Jason. Guess some still need a little hand holding that the meeting will take place. All this will be a distant memory in the near future.
Go TDGI!!!!
Thanks for checking in here. It's good to know we have an international crowd here. Yes, the meeting will be a massive event for the company. There will be a lot to discuss after it for sure. Appreciate the kind words!
Go TDGI!!!
What, no Janet Reno? Word is Eric may be signing her up for a romantic comedy flick - now that she's had the Frederick's of Hollywood makeover.
