Hey Pinky...
As you said, "the devil is in the detail"
It was kinda careless of you not to read the entire page, huh?
Get too excited or something?
Or maybe you DID read the entire page...
It will get better...
The prior management has, nor ever will have any motivation to keep the shareholders informed. This is not a merger...it is a takeover, they are simply labeling it a merger with no current GTLA players destined to be in any key positions. Expect nothing until the dust settles and solidity prevails. As I stated long ago in a previous post, the week of the 7th, with a minuscule possibility of the 1st week will be some information. Treat this as a growing plant, not a dice roll. IMO
Dated 12/22/2009...
No PR, but this is an interesting page.

Zecco rules!
I came from Sharebuilder when they refused to trade GM. Everything smooth as glass...and $4.50 trades!
The only words that pertain to this situation are...
..."soon" and "just not ready", both of which are merely buffers. Read your post 20009 dated October 30th and reflect. I think "months end" was a bit optimistic, huh? The good news is that the stock is inexpensive and has potential. IMO
Your right...that's not the way to treat shareholders
And it was not their initial intention. They would have preferred an earlier PR announcing the merger but were too optimistic concerning fruition. The bumps incurred have pushed the window too close to Christmas...and the week between Christmas and New Years, just not gonna happen... everybody is away, full or drunk.(the general public...which MAY include some of them and some of us)
GTLA is experiencing some negative drama from the postponements, but, number one, anything less than a finalization announcement would do more harm than good, number two, they are simply just are not ready...whatever that means.
So, a number to verify this information?...this is just "word on the street",brotha. No one at GTLA has or will validate this line of thinking, all they will say is "soon," which is perfectly fine with me because I am looking a year out. I merely posted this IMO and time will tell if it is accurate or not. However, "soon" will SOON march into January, when somebody is gonna be forced to say something...and they will.
More time to accumulate...
Was fortunate enough to get .0002 on Friday, not a huge amount, but little by little. Although I have been reprimanded in past posts for my seemingly knowledgeless prediction of news next year, I will even close the time window for you. The initial PR will be the week of the 7th, with a VERY slight possibility the 1st week of Jan. But don't trip, it gives more time for plans to unfold. Just enjoy your Christmas and New Year knowing the future's so bright you gotta wear shades. IMO
PS: Don't bother to call IR, we have already have their position/opinion on the matter...you will get the same response.
Well, maybe that's the difference...
When I go to Las Vegas, I plan to win. I try to never enter any situation with a "gonna lose" attitude.
Obviously, this is not recreation for most of us, but in Pennyland, it is wise to realize it can be just as risky as Las Vegas, only with a bit more control over your financial future and we rarely(I NEVER have)walk away with nothing.
Let me close with reminding all that we are in a very unique area of American history concerning the stock market. Most every stock is devalued, but as in history past, will return. Loading up on companies that have solid management and a viable game plan can lead to great wealth over time, which I predict will be no longer than two years and in some cases, much sooner. If you believe in your investment, handle it the way you would any other area of your life, which hopefully is with wisdom and a positive attitude.
A couple of things that come to mind....
As I said weeks ago, there will be nothing released until after the first of the year for reasons I wish not to reiterate because in the end it is IMO. With no disrespect to anyone participating, the parties involved (GTLA) have an agenda that is FAR more important than this board.(In their opinion) They have a plan and the emotion displayed here will not move them to action no matter how many calls are received. The bottom line is,as with most any relationships,is faith and trust. If you have no faith or trust in the person or entity you are involved with, dissension will ultimately erode the original foundation of the union. So,if you are here for the quick dollar, the anxiety of all that is or isn't happening may not be a healthy environment for you. If you are long and have faith in the decisions you make on a daily basis, you probably will be okay. As Johnny J said, and I paraphrase,"Don't bring your kids college fund here, bring the money you were going to take to Las Vegas". In closing, and old friend once said as I was lamenting a seemingly minuscule situation (at least to him) he remarked, "In five years, you won't even remember this moment". What a concept! The only reason I do remember that moment is because I took his advise. As you log in to this board, simply read an imaginary sign in your mind that says, "For Entertainment Purposes Only" and I think you will enjoy the ride much more. As always, all comments are IMO. Now,let's think about Christmas and what we can do for others.
Peace, Love and Joy
My crystal ball keeps saying...
...after Jan 1st. But it really does not matter, because the release is forthcoming and exciting. For the longs, it is a big smile, not a bottle of champagne. As Johnny keeps reiterating, patience is what's gonna make you the big money. As for you flippers, the anxiety mounts.
I know most of you know what you are doing, but here is a refresher link just to keep you on track...and sane. Happy Holidays to all!

Yep, Johnny, it is fun...
After all those years as an air traffic controller supervisor, you are an expert at reading between the lines, I am sure. That was a high stress job for a lot of years and you remain a solid guy. This merger is like two people getting married with all the related drama and expectations. I believe we have picked a solid penny with the possibilities of big money. IMO
PS: You should be the board moderator.
I am buying as much as I can afford. I have recommended this stock to countless friends...one opening her first trade account just to buy GTLA.
Johnny...
Typos in the contract?..what, no spell check? I would expect a more professional excuse like "lawyers amending". It really does not matter to me, because I am long on this stock. I just think it will not be this year. GTLA will make us money, that fact I do know!
Happy Holidays!
An announcement would be good...
...and it would make us money now instead of later.
However, there are several reasons why they will wait.
1)Seasonal agendas
Some of the parties involved for the fruition of this merger are not exclusive to our agenda, merely participants.
2)The distractions of the Holidays.
These are people just like yourself, with many commitments for seasonal festivities, purchases and other criteria that happens in December. Plus, there is no apparent deadline that needs to be met.
3)An announcement now would not get the full impact they would like to achieve due to the average persons seasonal mindset.
4)Most importantly, the new year means new beginnings. The market is an emotional creature, just read this and other boards and that is very evident. A release, after the excitement of the New Year Bowl Games, would be the height of American emotion, plus the release of improved retail statistics(and they will be better than last year) would add to investor confidence...after all, it still is a penny stock. As always...IMO
So let me ask you a question...if you had a really important announcement to make and everyone was busy preparing for a big party, would you make it before or after the party?
Buy more stock...make more money.
Happy Holidays!
There is good news and there is bad news, which do you want first?
A doctor called his patient on the phone and said, "I have good news and I have bad news, which do you want first?" The patient was stricken with anxiety and hesitantly said, "the good news."
The doctor replied, "you have 24 hours to live." The emotional patient exclaimed, "what could possibly be the bad news?"
The doctor relied, "I meant to call you yesterday."
Well folks, the bad news here is...there will be no merger proclamation before January 1st. The good news is...it gives you more time to accumulate stock in these infinitesimally low prices.
Believe it or leave it. As always...IMO
"When everyone else is afraid...buy." Warren Buffett
What great entertainment!....
The stock goes down to a perceived intolerable level and the board becomes the reality series "Desperate Stockholders". In today's episode, Jorge is being called out to defend his positions and a stock buy back possibility has created some interest. In our next episode, there is a rumor Jorge has wrecked his server, narrowly escaping a stalking stockholder and is charged with reckless emailing. With much more turbulence, the stock fights its way back to .03 in a miraculous turn of events and Jorge's marriage is saved by a new pre-nup agreement. Man, was this exciting or what?
Stay tuned tomorrow when Lucy says,"Hey, where is everybody?" only to realize it is Saturday.
Have a great week-end!

JohnnyJ...You are on point
Your research is solid and patience is the key. I like reading your posts, very encouraging and I believe very accurate. You are a solid guy and this stock will go.
Johnny J/One year...one dollar?
Johnny, when I clicked the link to view your profile, (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/john-jerashen/16/77b/452)the server stated that "profile not found". Why would that be?
So what are they gonna say...
Hey, we are just about finished here, or
...we need to work out this one small detail, or
...we know PR is needed, but we don't want to give a time window just yet, or
...The Holidays have really affected the entire process, or
...we are lawyers (and the such) and you will get news when it suits the company's best interests.
Personally, I think there will be no news until the first of the year.
Ouch..yea, that statement will get some attention. So, make a mental note of this IMO, and let's see if I paid too much for that crystal ball I just got. Again...IMO
Yeah, patience is the key. Tier position is better than most at this price and potential is definitely present. We must reject the desire for instant gratification and let this company blossom...IMO
