"In addition to the benefit of Nightfood’s sleep-friendly formulations, Nightfood management believes its line of ice cream has superior taste and texture to other light ice creams, without using artificial sweeteners or erythritol, which is widely used by other brands. Halo Top took the industry by storm in 2015 and 2016 and revolutionized the category. Having launched just a couple of years earlier, Halo Top initially struggled with debt, modest sales velocity, and production issues before quickly becoming a major brand in the category. Sales grew from $230,000 in 2013 to over $100,000,000 in 2016, and the company was reportedly in talks to sell for a valuation of $2B in 2017. Earlier this month, it was announced that Halo Top was acquired by Wells, for an undisclosed sum.
“Just as Halo Top both grew the category, and also won consumers from the competition, we believe we can do the same,” explained Folkson. “We all know nighttime is when most ice cream is eaten at home. Our sleep-friendly formulations and superior taste and texture give us a differentiated advantage over all other ‘better-for-you’ ice creams. After all, how can something you eat at night be better-for-you if it wasn’t formulated with better sleep in mind?”
If you are here to educate the inexperienced please speak factually. Nightfood does not sell stock. They sell a very tasty award winning innovative product. Their product is now available in 4 top 25 grocery chains with one more signed on.
Up 6% is blood on the floor Spud? Charts show higher lows over the past 40 days or so.
Ho! Ho! Ho! That made me laugh! He didn't ask me either.
That's the goal. Get the product out there. Sell it and generate some revs. Dump the CLs. Get bought out? Time will tell. Anyone thinking of taking a position, make sure you do you DD. Try the ice cream. It's a healthy option that tastes good. NGTF is definitely at minimum a company that should be on a watch list. aimo
"See the data on penny stocks like NGTF.
Most of them fail and the management of those penny stocks usually walk away with million$ of investors' money."
This generalization is very weak.
1. Nightfood is a penny stock. (trades below $5.00)
2. Most penny stocks fail.
3. Since most penny stocks fail and NIghtfood is a penny stock then Nightfood will fail.
Did you know Monster used to trade at .04? There are numerous examples of companies that used to trade under $5.00 that are very successful. They key is to find them. NIghtfood has an award winning INNOVATIVE product with expanding distribution and lot's of GREAT media coverage. It's unfortunate that your investment choices lead you to believe that you can't make money investing in companies whose share price is less than $5.00. I smell a beef.
"Have you made similar comments about the NGTF hype here?
Reporting facts and PRs is fine...but making far reaching comments that are not supported by facts is just hype."
You should re-read your post.
Only difference is that I clarified my post. Maybe you can clarify these posts for us...
"NGTF will flop."
"Only...Limbaugh fans won't get on board with NGTF. "
"NGTF is toast. None of the products or branding is innovative."
" NGTF Bunk!"
"I don't have a beef with NGTF......"
"NGTF...WORKING HARD TO BRING YOU A PIG IN A POKE!! Stick a fork in it."
"The Titanic was holding steady too...just before it hit the iceberg."
"I heard Nightfood Ice sludge."
"The point is, we both know Sean is likely a millionaire thanx to NGTF stock sales."
After manufacturing their first pint in early 2019, Nightfood ice cream has begun establishing a national footprint. The brand has now secured distribution in four of the top fifty supermarket chains in the United States. This includes over 100 locations of the Meijer supermarket chain throughout the Midwest, with concentration around the metropolitan areas of Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Milwaukee, Lowe's Foods, with 78 stores in the Carolinas, and Harris Teeter, with over 250 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, Delaware, Florida, and the District of Columbia .
On Feb 8, 2019, it was announced that Nightfood ice cream won the 2019 Product of the Year award in the ice cream category in a Kantar survey of over 40,000 consumers. On June 26, 2019, Nightfood was named Best New Ice Cream in the 2019 World Dairy Innovation Awards.
TARRYTOWN, NY, Nov. 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE – Nightfood, Inc. (OTCQB: NGTF), the award-winning ice cream company addressing America’s $50 billion-dollar nighttime snacking problem, yesterday received confirmation that sleep-friendly Nightfood ice cream will soon be made available in a large division of one of the nation’s top-10 supermarket chains.
The rapidly expanding brand manufactured its first pint of ice cream in January of this year and is currently on-shelf in four of the top 50 supermarket chains in the United States.
Right Spud. The top 80 list are items for Xmas giving. Ice cream isn't the best Xmas gift. Would be great for desert after a big Xmas dinner though. ; )
First of all her name is spelled Oprah, not Operah. I clarified my point in my last post. Oprah does have millions of followers, just as CNBC who did a piece on NIghtfood has millions. Readers digest and all the other media that have done pieces on NIghtfood add up some great marketing. The profits will come as the distribution continues and the media attention follows regardless of your beef.
Oprah did not tweet about Nightfood. Point I was trying to make is that several of the media companies that have mentioned or done pieces on Nightfood have thousands to millions of followers, watchers, subscribers or readers. The media attention helps to fan the fire of success.
Oprah approved. Oprah has 41 million twitter followers.
"An image of a pint of Nightfood’s popular Cherry Eclipse flavor, along with a big scoop of the ice cream, is prominently featured on Page 74. The editorial recommended that people who prefer ice cream at night should try Nightfood as one of Oprah’s favorite “sleep-friendly” finds."
I wouldn't be surprised to see a follow-up story from her in 2020.
INFB is getting after it..........
“We engaged Brenda and her team just a couple of weeks ago. They’ve already presented Nightfood to two significant chains, and we’ve been told that both reported they will be adding Nightfood in their early 2020 resets,” commented Sean Folkson, Nightfood CEO. “The team has many more meetings scheduled, and we’re expecting them to help us land additional key accounts, as well as growing Nightfood through independent channels.”
Stay tuned. More distribution to come.
"Good thing NGTF is on the right track."
In 4 of the top 25 grocery chains with the 5th signed on. They are definitely on the right track.
"The new chain will be taking on seven flavors of Nightfood, including Full Moon Vanilla, Midnight Chocolate, Cherry Eclipse (cherry ice cream with chocolate chips and cherry pieces), Milk & Cookie Dough, After Dinner Mint Chip, Cookies n' Dreams, and Bed and Breakfast (maple ice cream with waffle pieces)."
Stay tuned.......more distribution to come.
aimo
Revelation. Innovation. Award winning. Great tasting. Crave monster approved. Soon to be in a neighborhood grocery near you. aimo
Part is related to Sean's accrual of his salary. The rest is probably related to the advisory board fees. If you look at the 10Qs you would see that the number is going down on a quarterly basis. Cost control. aimo
No need to be sorry Spud. Your thinking is a bit skewed though. I'm not going to get into a long explanation but basically at some point the company will reach a break even point and THEN as revenues continue to increase they become profitable. If ice cream wasn't a profitable business there wouldn't be any on the store shelves. aimo
Sure and if they only generate $200,00 in revenue every quarter, they will be gone post haste. It's makes sense to me that as distribution increases so will revenue and eventually they achieve profitability. Get it? The business model has created an award winning product(ice crud as you call it, although you admit to not trying it} with ever increasing distribution. NGTF$$
Thanks notshakenorstirred! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
"NGTF will flop Only...Limbaugh fans won't get on board with NGTF. NGTF is toast. None of the products or branding is innovative. NGTF Bunk!
Please provide a link to back up your statements. I smell beef.
More power to him. He was probably a millionaire before Nightfood.
"
Sean Folkson is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the company. He has been CEO and President of our subsidiary NightFood, Inc., a New York corporation, since its formation in January 2010. From 2004 to 2009 he served as president of Specialty Equipment Direct, Inc. which is an online marketer of flooring maintenance equipment which he founded. In 1998 he founded AffiliatePros.com, Inc. a company engaged in assisting its clients with internet marketing which operated through 2008. Mr. Folkson received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from S.U.N.Y Albany in 1991."

There is no doubt Sean is a millionaire, on paper. He holds the lion's share of the restricted stock. He is getting paid a reasonable salary of $6000 per month and has some very generous bonuses if certain milestones are achieved. He will be very wealthy if able to grow the company to that "next big thing" level. Things are getting interesting of late with the new top 25 company. Can't wait to see what's next. aimo

Please post any excerpts from 10Qs or 10Ks to back up your assertions.
"Nightfood consumption is increasing, revenues are growing, and momentum is building; consumer response and feedback remains outstanding!"
Pretty sure they will be able to discontinue the convertibles at some point Spud. It's just a matter of time. Distribution keeps growing and growing and growing......etc.
Excellent find! Just keeps getting better and better!
Wow! That's great news Spud! Getting some distribution now and more later. NGTF$
That’s great! NGTF$
"Five years pass and the price is still 26 cents a share but the float has swollen by a considerable amount. This is evidence of what share dilution does to pricing trends."
Nightfood definitely has had some difficult times during development of it business plan and products. The MJ Munchies and night time snack bars haven't done well and I'm sure burned a lot of capital. The Nightfood ice cream though has garnered a lot of attention and interest and could emerge as "the next big thing" in the night time snacking category. In less that 1 year they have acquired distribution in 5 of the top 25 chains in the US. Excellent work considering product launch was 1 year ago. If all goes well, Nightfood could experience some substantial growth and revenue. Time will tell. aimo
"While some chains have informed us they’ll be waiting until their next review period, we also expect additional major chains, like this one, to formally confirm they’ll be adding the line shortly.”
Step by step. Division by division. Chain by chain.
I wonder if Kroger is adding another division?
NGTF$
Excellent! Nuff said.
I called several Harris Teeters and was told the ice cream was on the shelf. Did you happen to speak with any employees there? I wonder if they are one of the last stores to do their reset.
Fads do come and go. It's too early to tell if Nightfood and the sleep friendly category of night time snacks is going to be a fad. Even without the sleep friendly ingredients, Nightfood tastes good, has cool branding and is definitely a healthy ice cream option. It sounds like more distribution will be PR'd relatively soon. aimo
I would have to disagree.. It's unique enough that numerous articles have been written by various medias such as Readers Digest, Family Circle and People magazine. There have also been spots on national television like CNBC and The Today Show. It's won multiple awards for being a very innovative product. Will it be the next Halo Top? We will have to wait and see.
You are absolutely correct. Time will tell if they are successful and it's no secret they are using the "well" to fund their growth. The product is generally well received by those who try it and definitely has garnered the attention of the media. What they need now is sales and more distribution.
I think Nightfood tastes great. I won't buy high fat, high calorie ice cream. I won't buy the cheapest because there is definitely a difference in flavor. Kroger brand ice cream is a good example. Tastes is very lacking. Nightfood tastes good and is definitely a healthier option. I will be a repeat customer for Nightfood as soon as they are in Texas.
Wow! You can predict the future. Please give me the winning Powerball numbers for Saturday night.
"Maybe cause it was plagiarized?"
Tastes great and less filling was part of a light beer commercial. It hasn't been used by Nightfood. Beefy.
I might go into a coma reading some of these posts from folks that have never tried the product. Nightfood taste great! Less filling! Wait. That sounds familiar.
