New mining law passed in Tansania this weekend. I don't know what it means for VIPR and I don't know how to post a link. Maybe someone could post a link for the board. Los [P.S. Mining companies said to release a joint statement today, but I don't where.]
phoenix, Maybe you can help pump this stock up enough after the RS and draw in enough math impaired chums like me to be able to sell off and even short this stock to recover most of your losses or even make a little profit, who knows? Good luck. Los
phoenix, I hope for all our sakes you are 100% right and I'm 100% wrong about what YA has pulled off here and their intentions with this company. I just can't make myself trust the outcome as long as YA is involved. Los
yellowjacket's numbers are no joke. Let this company sell for the often mentioned here price of $200 to $300 million and watch YA fully convert and see how much per share you get. Los
Thanks kismet, I'll do the same. Los
Thanks hawk, Los
Thanks Polaris, That makes sense. I can see where they wouldn't know on a day to day basis how many "chums" were buying in. Los
Polaris, My question about the form D was meant for you but I inadvertantly posted it as a response to hawke's post. You're knowledgable in those matters, am I reading the form D wrong? Thanks, Los
I'm a little confused with the form D myself. It read that first sale was 4-2-10 and had raised $75,000 as of the filing but on down where it asked for number of investors in new offerring it lists the number 0. Am I reading that wrong? Los
Mini, That's got to be one of the best posts I've ever read. Right on the money also. Los
Polaris, this CEO's last and only public comments released the day the report came out were very positive about the Singida report and intentions about close proximity acquisitions in the near term. If his view of this has changed as you've indicated, then he should or even must make this clear now to all shareholders at once. I have also e-mailed for clarity on Singida and if the company's direction had changed. I have as yet no reply.[Nor should I receive a reply] I'm sorry but this is information that should be released publicly to ALL shareholders at the same time and not sent to individual shareholders in e-mails. This is material information. I'm sure many here would have sold with profit and came back later if we had known the public comments made the day of the report were not what the company really thought. I appreciate all your information you've shared but this CEO needs to be careful how he releases information, and if he promises clarification "shortly" then he needs to clarify "shortly" especially if the companies views have changed materially from his last comments. Los
Thanks clawmann, Los
Polaris, I'm not arguing with you, you know a hell of a lot more about this than I ever will but why did the company in the comments about the report say they viewed the report as very positive? I totally agree with you about the uranium and a potential buyout. Uranex has stated the intention to make several acquisitions. I've also read of some things such as logistics and royalty agreements that should move this possibility along as quickly as possible. Thanks Los
It's my opinion only but I still believe we'll get our clarification from the company although delayed and not "shortly" about company's gold intentions at Singida and for some reason I believe it will be a Doozy. Los [153.75 g/t 4.943 oz, 195.00 g/t 6.269 oz, 253.75 g/t 8.222 oz.] I don't believe you can just walk away from numbers like these. I'm still optimistic about gold as well as uranium.
Without our clarification from the company, why have we seemed to abandon our hopes for the gold claims and possible acquisitions nearby? Los
That will be great as long as it doesn't require massive dilution raising the money to do it. How would a JV with Uranex or Mantra suit? Thanks Los
claw, How does Neomedia continue to maintain "corporation in good standing" status in Delaware with so many continued violations of Delaware regulations, such as no shareholder meetings? also the below par conversions last year. I wonder if Neomedia is filing annual reports to Delaware? I'd love to know what's in those reports if any. Los
claw, I will also and include a request that they take a long and hard look at the type financing YA uses. It has very negative effects on the common shareholder at best. Thanks Los
YA's investment strategy with Neomedia does NOT rely on market direction because of fees and margin contracts allowing for conversions at below market values. It doesn't say YA doesn't want Neom to succeed. What it means however is that it doesn't matter for YA to profit from converting and selling shares and even works better if the stock remains cheaper. Read the option between Yorkvillebhn and YA. Converting and selling generates cash flow for YA, much needed cash flow, so what do you think will likely happen after the RS takes effect? Los
Shadow, Where does VIPR's holdings lie in relation to Uranex's? North I hope. Seems Uranex found most positive results on the northern portion of their claim.
With royalty issues settled, How would you like to see Uranex and Mantra in a bidding war for our uranium holdings? Los
lucky, it's not 100% your fault. You once contemplated getting out and I suggested you wait until at least July 29th when Neomedia could possibly have paid YA off without penalty or fear of massive conversion, but that is now gone. How could anyone have known that this CEO had no desire to remove this company from YA's grip and sacrifice our equity to the increase of YA's equity? This CEO has had no desire to fulfill his fiduciary duties to all classes of equity holders, he has only worked for YA's interest, not this company, not the common shareholder, just his puppetmaster YA. Look at what's happened since Feb. 17th '09. The proof is in the pudding. This company needs a CEO who will work for ALL shareholders and it's not Iain McCready!
At least the judge ruled against YA's thievery in the Cobalis bankruptcy case. YA could be skating on thin ice, who knows? Los
300% of how much? $1200?
Congratulations to all you folks who got in this early on. We get ripped so often in pennyland, it does the heart good to see some folks win one for a change. Congrats again. Los
You'll be "baskin" in the sun soon enough thanks to your VIPR investment. LOL Los [With all the ice cream you want too]
That's a "mighty" good post. Me too. Los
I strongly suspect there are suitors with some deep pockets eyeballing VIPR's concessions in both locations. IMO Los
Yes stockman, and when I have something I would sell, I just love lots of suitors. LOL Los
Kis, If you're accurate [I have no reason to doubt that you are] this answers a bunch of questions that have been lingering in the back of my head. Good post and Thank you very much. Los
The Jan. 11th 8K was filed to report an agreement made effective on Jan. 5th. Remember Zacked's post "you'll need a fifth on the 5th." What did he mean? What did he know? Makes me wonder. Los
Neil, It's in the Jan. 11th 8K. Los
I think it's investor [trader] impatience. Moving to other penny opportunities. News and upward movement will bring many back even at higher prices. Los
The management at VIPR are real estate minded people. The results from JICL and Humac, both respected firms but whose missions did not include the one thing real estate minded people would want to make decisions going forward. Evaluation; Appraisal of the worth of the property in question if you will. "Recommendations of various North American firms" could have been carefully used words. This company may be faced with the decision, Sell this property based on these results or gamble on much better results and a much higher price if further drilling proves worthy. All opinion and speculation of course but hell it's a slow day. Los
stockman, I'm relatively new here. As I read posts here I believe this has mostly been a transparent company with it's shareholders. This leads me to believe there are some important and positive things they want to include in next release, causing this slight delay. IMO Los
Hang in there stockman. It is my opinion that the company is finalizing some activities for one hell of a clarification release. As I said In My Opinion. Los
In My Opinion, Neomedia is the "Target". The "Target" company that YA intends to take private with a shareholder freeze-out soon after reverse split. Time will tell.
You're right Polaris. Too much speculation, I have some other thoughts involving the larger mining companies and VIPR and property acquisitions in the area. But also to speculative so I'll hold them and just see how it plays out. Los
Not if the company was in the middle of acquiring options on additional properties and didn't want to tip their hand or reveal findings until options were secure. Los
dan, Good luck in your new job also. Los
