Toonce, everytime VTSS begins to irk you,, shortly thereafter it breaksout to the upside. Actually ATML and VTSS usually trade in tandem. FWIW
Glenda, I'm a big fan of ATML. FWIW
Rheeman, I'm having a cat scan done on Friday. Then I see the surgeon next Wed. Then surgery a few days after. At least Cancer has been eliminated as a possibility. Just have to get the fluid out.
Rheeman, I agree as well. You read the charts as well as anyone I've ever met. And, what's cool is that you're adamant about it, which is a must. I congratulate you.
My approach combines T/A and Fundamentals. Together we'd make a great team!!
Marcos (ALTI), given enough time, I think ALTI can be a 10 bagger. FWIW
Jerry/Marcos, thanks for your kind words. They're very much appreciated. Go Cubbies!!!!!!!!
Ron, 21 is a Fibonacci number. It shouldn't surprise that it would come in to play. FWIW
Marcos, If you sell ALTI I will fly to Chicago and personally strangle you. If there's ever been a stock I've recommend that I feel is a "Home Run," this is IT. Put it away, and forget you own it.
Liz, you're worth you're weight in gold. You're very dear to me. Thanks for everything, not only you, but all my friends on this board. Thaks to all of you.
Fred, I certainly know what website to go to f I ever feel like a butt kicking is needed. Thanks my friend.
Thanks Glenda. Your words are very thoughtful and sweet.
Fred, I didn'tmean to sound like I've given up. Actually, Liz has already kicked me in the ass for sounding like that. My point is I'm being F8ilisitc. I've got a lot of things that still need to be done. But, I can't help but worrying about that which I have no control over. I've got a 17 year old son that I want to see get married and have kids. I have my motivation and my faith. This isn't about copping out, it's about desire and control. But thanks for your words. They were very kind and supportive.
Fred, but there's a couple of things to consider in my case. My father lived well into his 90's, (97 to be exact) plus there's no history of cancer in my family. Now, do to the abuse I've put my body through, I have to worry about BOTH. Who know what cards I've been dealt, but whatever they are, I have to play them, and no amount of money will change that.
Fred, I've had pneumonia before and each time it was caused my allergies. To be precise, it was the antihistamines that I take, that won't let me spit up the junk in my lungs, which is caused by the smoking.
FWIW, I bought PYR.
Hello my Friends. To bring you up to date on my condition, along with my penumonia, I have pockets of fluids up and down my left side. I went in for laser surgery, yesterday, and they could only empty one pocket. At this point, I feel pretty much the same as before. To relieve the pain, I'll either have to change antibiotics, depending on what the analysis of the the fluid they did take out shows, or go under the knife and have regular surgery. I'll know more in a few days. Also, unfortunately, cancer can't be eliminated.
Like the old saying goes, if I knew I was gonna live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself. Hear that Rheeman? Don't make the same mistakes I made. You're still young with young kids. Don't you want to see your Grandkids. I'm preaching to you with affection. You don't want to be in my condition at, a relatively young, 55 years old. Quit before there's damage. I never thought I'd talk to anyone like this. But deep down, you know I'm right.
Marcos, how about them Cubbies!! To bad about the White Sox (who?)!!! LOL
When Bush Sr. was defeated by Clinton, the seeds of a strong economic recovery had already been planted. But it was just a question of time. The period of time we're in now, feels almost identical. The Fed is talking about big growth in the GDP, in the 4th quarter, interest rates will not be a hinderance and some industries are flying high. The problem is the jobs scenario, which is, obviously, a lagging indicator. It's complicated even further by NAFTA and the WTO. Clinton, obviously sacraficed the country's manufacturing industries expecting that technology would fill the void. Unfortunately he forgot about the middle aged, assembly line worker, who was not going to join the technological revolution. Those people are employed in the various service industries, in many cases having to hold down 2 or more jobs. The real benefit of NAFTA is for the young and newly graduated.
My point in all this, is that the jobs situation provides us with a "wall of worry," which is a necessity for a bull market. The seasonal period we're in, right now, has historically generated quite a bit of volatility. If we can get through this time frame with a limited amount of downside, it could be a very bullish signal.
I submit that a a balance of bearishness and bullishness can be resolved in a very positve market environment. But there will always be sell offs when a number of people turn into "Chiken Little." That comes with the territory. That's why there's always a time to keep your "gun in your holster."
I don't know if this makes any sense. It might be the ramblings of someone who's taking a lot of antibiotics, but it does make sense to THAT person. LOL FWIW
Do you Fred? There certainly was enough hostility. But, I guess only the Shadow knows for sure. LOLOL Seriously tough, I'm quite sure this whole thing would not have been as severe, had I not ever smoked. FWIW
Fred, I've still got pain up and down my left side. I'm told, that where the pneumonia settled. I spend most of my days digesting pills and sleeping, which, I guess, is a good mode to be in now, given the markets indecision. Maybe I'll be out of this zone sometime next week.
(OPWV) Has anyone heard about a pending RS? Got some e-mail to the effect. Can't believe it would happen. No reason for it.
Thanks Rheeman. But I wouldn't say I'm back, yet. I'm on so many pills, I've lost my appetite. Plus, I've got to go to the Pulmonary Doctor on Monday, and I don't know what he has in store for me. Right now I'm just watching, when I'm not sleeping. I appreciate everyone's concern. Maybe I've been cursed by someone that I used to know. Right, toonce? LOL
Fred (UDW), was in and out in 3 days. Have to cut your losses. Did the same with CYGX. Although may re-enter at some point.
Morning all. Sorry I haven't been so active the last few days, but I've developed a severe case of pneumonia. Had to take X-rays yesterday, and will be going to a Pulmonary Doctor on Monday. My breathing is very strained, and my whole left side feels like I broke all my ribs, there. All in all, I'm having a lot of "fun."
BTW, Marcos, what was that comment you made about the Cubs vs the White Sox, a few weeks ago? GO CUBBIES!!!!!!!!
Good Morning. Anyone watching AKLM? Wow!!

Thor, I'd be disappointed if the DJIA didn't exceed 10,000 by the end of the year. We're not that far away!!
(FTGX) Nice follow through. Good action. $2 next stop? FWIW
Hawk (GOAM), nice long candle with solid volume. Looks like it's showtime. The beans are on the table. FWIW
Ron, Isabel, according to your post, looks like it will head through Raleigh. Greensboro is, virtually, in the center of the state. We'll get some wind and a lot of rain, but we're not in the projected path.
Glenda, it's hard for me to recommend a number of shares. It depends on your feelings about volatility, profit, risk, commission. Remember that on a percentage basis, there's a great deal of volatility in these stocks. If you buy 10k shares, every .10 move equals $1000. Use that as you're guide. FWIW
(FTGX) Anyone watching? Nice little pop today!!
Glenda (RBAK), I've had it for quite a while. I'm looking for it to get well over $1. FWIW
Fred (CYGX), FWIW I'm on board. Up, up and away!! :-}}
Fred (CYGX), I agree that the stock looks good, but, it's also a little overbought right here. I'd get in on a bit of a pullback, FWIW.
FWIW, bought FTGX. Wish me luck.
Hawk, sometimes slow can be a good thing. hehehe
