I guess I am the only one excited by the implications here.
Sprott has started exercising his HYMC warrants.
To do that he had to sell 5 million.
I know it is confusing, but now he is positioned that when the rest of HYMC's warrants and common stock shares are issued, the company will have 422 million shares.
Sprott can then hold 18.4+23.4 mil warrants = 41.8 mil and be less than 10% owner
Eric Sprott's 2176423 Ontario Ltd sold 5,000,000 shares...
To buy warrants!
Here is the math.
Held 23,408,240 then sold, 5,000,000
=18,408,240
Then exercises 911,760 warrants bringing his total back up to 19,320,000 shares. Why that number?
The warrant agreement will not allow him to exercise the warrants if it causes him to own more than 9.8% of HYMC upon exercising.
After selling the 5 million shares, 911,760 was basically the most he can exercise right now without being over 9.8% again.
Sounds complicated but here is the stipulation.
"Based on a Schedule 13D/A filed March 28, 2022, this includes 23,408,240 shares of Common Stock and 23,408,240 shares of Common Stock issuable upon exercise of a warrant held by 2176423 Ontario Ltd (?2176423 Ontario?), Eric Sprott controls 2176423 Ontario and has the power to direct the voting and disposition of Common Stock held by the entity through his ownership interests in 2176423 Ontario. The foregoing figure for beneficial ownership excludes 23,408,240 shares of Common Stock underlying warrants held by 2176423 Ontario that are not presently exercisable due to the effect of a beneficial ownership limitation blocker. "
So Eric Sprott is signalling his intent to exercise the warrants. But, in order to do that at this point, the company would have to have 427 million shares outstanding. That is what is meant by the ownership limitation blocker.
If all of the warrants are exercised, guess how many shares Hycroft has?
422,680,018
9.8% of that total is 41,422,641.764
41422641.764-23,408,240 = 18,014,401.764 or basically close as it gets to that 18,408,240 number he had before he started exercising the warrants here.
Looks like Sprott just sold 5 million shares...
So, he will be able to exercise warrants...
( 1 )These securities are owned directly by 2176423 Ontario Ltd. Eric Sprott controls 2176423 Ontario Ltd. and has the power to direct the voting and disposition of Class A common stock held by the entity through his ownership interests in 2176423 Ontario Ltd. All of the Reporting Persons are a "group" for purposes of Section 13(d) of the Exchange Act. 2176423 Ontario Ltd. also holds warrants to acquire 23,408,240 shares of Class A common stock, but the terms and conditions of the warrants preclude 2176423 Ontario Ltd. from exercising the warrant to the extent that such exercise would cause 2176423 Ontario Ltd. (together with its affiliates) to beneficially own in excess of 9.8% of the shares of Class A common stock of Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation immediately after such exercise. As a result of the transactions reported by this Form 4, warrants to acquire 911,760 shares of Class A common stock became exercisable and such shares may be deemed to be beneficially owned by the Reporting Persons

Yeah it does and doesnt.
Your explanation makes sense, but doesnt make sense from a common sense perspective, the volume is higher ie demand, and the share count is still 516.8mill, so where does 80 million come from? Seems like thin air, but that is just "market making" right? Seems like a different word to me but whatever.
I am told this is just normal. If so, i dont get where the liquidity comes from. Everybody in the Russell gang just gets to be like okay here's Hycroft, we need 15 million shares for the institutions? Here's a hat with a rabbit in it, i bet we can find shares there to pull out too and put in our accounts. Retail trades against itself all day with no real size showing on L2 all day, then institution be like okay market closed now make our shares appear. And viola there they are without a blip of buying pressure on the chart.
Need 80 million shares of amc after market closes? they just like poof here you be.
Doesnt seem natural in the whole supply demand scheme of things.
Amc has now 80+mil volume, most after close of trading. Hycroft had almost 15 million right trade after close.
Where does that volume come from when this isnt on L2 during the day? I cant come in and buy 15 million shares without moving the price up substantially, but here can happen like this at market close and the price needle doesnt flinch?
I dont get it. Why do the institutions get all their shares at a discount, but anyone else want this many theyd have to pay up.
I just meant a day where watching the chart is fun, not like THE day or anything.
I would expect a lot of volume though i would think.
I bet this has something to do with positioning for russell reconstitution day. Big green volumes and trades on close here of late. I was hoping tomorrow would be a nice day for popcorn.
Who cares? Lets B Really here.
Price targets are dumb and usually done for the benefit of people too lazy to actually do DD for themselves.
Probably 1.3-1.4 billion for amc revenue here this qtr. Not hard to do the math
Admissions up 15% from 2019
Concessions up 40% from 2019
June going over $1 billion US box office is right back to prepandemic.
AMC is back to being profitable at this point, and they will have a profitable quarter to report for either q2 or q3 latest.
Then december 16th Avatar will cement 2022 as a great year for AMC.
Then realize 2023 lineup of titles is even better.
Wait until the streaming services catch up that they should be running their biggest titles in theaters like adam project, dont look up, etc shouls have been played on the big screen.
And AMC used to pay a 20 cent per qtr dividend up until that pandemic thing happened.
They must not have seen the avatar 2 trailer
Sort of happened for gme but only 150k volume right after close. I guess that is still pretty significant given their relative stock prices.
Just wondered what causes that
It was 4 mil for hymc right after close.
I wondered if it was related to russell reconstitution stuff but wasnt sure.
Just thought it was interesting.
happened with hymc and amc but not gme
1.5 mil volume right after close.
Is that 4 million volume right after close on the chart?
Admission revenue tracking 15% higher than 2019 but concession revenue is up 40% from prepandemic.
Anxious to finish out the last 15 days of the quarter to see where this ends up. I have upped my prediction to $1.4 billion for revenue, because june alone is looking like over $1 billion for domestic box office.
Amc is getting 26% of the ticket sales, revenue up 15% and concessions up 40% should yield monster numbers.
I appreciate the perspective of those that were here when this was allied nevada.
I only bought in here after sprott and amc bought in, so catching up on the background as i can.
I see the issues with the leaching, a lot of that due to the higher silver content in the ore. So a pox and milling process becomes more favorable there. They are also being challenged by the delays in getting testing results, so they can update the resource estimate and can update the mine plan.
all these things were known to aron and sprott when they chose to invest.
The company found the higher grade materials at vortex and within other drilling. They realized silver was being understated in its significance. Dr. Garrett is very competent and while the old mgmt didnt understand to apprciate the silver content and the land position, she does. I just see what she did at Romarco with the Haile mine and think you are underestimating her. It is the same thing she did during her time there, only on a larger scale here.
Well thats different. Usually we get bullied into submission at the market open.
$1,424,911,791.74
If you take
April $568,037,252
May $785,708,679
June $459,922,147 (30÷13)= $1,061,358,800.7692
2nd qtr = $2,415,104,731.7692 domestic
In quarter 1,
US domestic total was $1,333,435,771
AMC revenues were $785.7 million
Assuming that ratio holds for q2...
Then AMC revenues this quarter might be as high as $1.42 billion.
It would be about $250 million more than the consensus.
Some people prob hating amc, because they only have regal or cinemarks nearby.
Could always move closer to one.
Next quarter will be $1.5 billion in revenue.
It is happening. The movies are back. People still prefer projectors with fricking laser beams to sitting at home.
CEOAdam being a bit sly about it.
"saw its admissions revenues globally outpace the same weekend in 2019 by 15 percent."
That is just the admissions at the box office.
It doesn't at all factor in collectible merch that has been selling out all over the place too.
Heres our small dinky old plant. Said no one ever
The part you dont mention is the one that hasnt been operational is the larger one intended for use with the new leach pads for the commercial scale operation. So not surprising why it hasnt been running.
April was still a pandemic recovery month. Imagine a full quarter of May's US 785mil and june already has $438,612,786 after 12 days.
That projects to US box office of $2.8 billion and AMC would stand to have made perhaps $1.65 billion this qtr.
AMC Theatres’® Admissions Revenues for the Weekend of June 9-12 Beats 2019’s Same Weekend as Moviegoers Flock to Jurassic World Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220613005861/en/
Great explanation. Thanks
Shorty must be terrified that AMC turning profitable, perhaps in q2
Wait til they come out with 1.3billion revenue this qtr. Cuz that what we are projecting at right now
expenses last qtr of 1.08 bill would mean profit... 220 million profit if based on last qtr expenses
Beats the street consensus by 150 million for revs, so that is probably why it is down today.
But yeah keep thinking apes are tired of waiting and see where that gets you.
Maybe tired of waiting for previews before the show starts... atAMC
Studies suggest that index rebalancing anomalies generate excess risk-adjusted returns caused by stock index funds and institutional investors that benchmark the indexes.

Loads of articles detailing the impact of being added. It is consider pretty bullish and Russell's is an annual one. It means a year upcoming for both AMC and HYMC shares to be forced to be purchased in accordance with the index. And diamond hand investors arent going to loose their shares readily for these index buyers to load up on the reconstitution day.
Revenues for one.
Mediocre critic reviews couldn't stop the apes from selling out Jurassic World.
Studios are worried about being release timing again, which is very bullish. They know they wont get more than an opening weekend or two before the next blockbuster takes screens away.

#Gold might get the glory, but did you know about surging demand for #silver? Beyond its monetary role, silver is one of the most versatile metals for industrial use.

Gonna beat eps estimates by 50 or 60 cents per share and make profit this quarter.
1.3 bil rev on 1.08 exp (last qtrs number) would be 220 mil, or eps of .43, which would be better than the -.21 consensus.
Been tracking it in a spreadsheet and the trend has held with my expectations for the box office receipts posted on boxofficemojo.
I guess new employee spotlight was the answer.

5 form 4, an s8, and an updated prospectus. Seems like a flurry of filings after the annual s/h meet. Wonder what comes next

$220 million 2022 memorial day weekend looks pretty similar to 2019 and 2018 figures to me.
Comparing 2019 q1 with 2022 q1 is laughable "analysis" at best.
Looks to me like box office for memorial day was the same in 2022 as it was prepandemic.
Only difference now is AMC is taking a bigger share of the pie.
Under 100 million was the rumor. Now it has done 156 million.
And 156 is 56 more than expected, which is a movie more packed than anyone expected, so that is bad news, so sell. .
It was particularly bad because AMC had a record shares of those sales.
All bad news for amc
I think thats the logic.
Otherwise, it has dropped at open practically every single day, what else is new?
Their projections were so off. Most "analysts" were expecting closer to $100 mil.
Yahoo sports?
See? Even they get it.
