Didn't Virtra have an agreement to license their branching scenario software to Cubic a few years back?
I wonder how many of these will include the "Academy"

US Marshal's video posted on the website. Impressive
Just a hunch but with the size of the booth and the proximity to the PEO STRI area I'm guessing we'll see some sort of PR next week. Possibly news of new collaborations and/or products.
I'm referring to the spelling of the company as Vitra. If you search Vitra you find a Swedish furniture design company. I find it interesting that the patent# is different, the Publication date is this September and the name of the company is spelled wrong.

Here's the opening sentence of last Septembers New Release;
VirTra Systems, Inc. (VTSI.PK), a global leader in firearms simulators, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent No. 8,016,594 to the company.

Here's some interesting reading while we wait for financials. Notice the name of the company Ferris works for. Are we now a design company? Many references to the MILES 2000 system.
Looks like the bid I referenced in post #34722
Nice find
Check out these employees. It's good to see a 3D content developer.

Here's a possible future sale. Looks like the bid is tailored to virtra.

New job posting. I would think this position would only be necessary with an increase in business and hiring.
I received this release via email directly from Rudy Miller.
we still have 209 followers. in the past it seems the # of followers decreased as the sp was tanking.
Nice find. This is good to see.
Viper Enterprises, LLC (parent company of OTC Showcase) has received no compensation for this article from and owns no shares of the aforementioned company(ies).
that's great advice....
I'm still not convinced any of the new posters actually work for the company. The John Hinnant info. could easily be assumed from the pr and all of the questions identified by the (so called) virtra insider have been questions of folks on this board for quite awhile now. As for the Lockheed meeting, haven't we all been speculating on that for a couple years now? If we really have posters who work for the company, tell us something we don't know.
Number one, what is your agenda? Number two, why would a business need a federal firearms license for virtual weapons?
anyone else suspecting alcohol was involved in last nights posts?
what happened to hotchicks vitriol?
Who's eschine? welcome back bill.
Virtra is the Plaintiff so that means they initiated the proceeding.

Here's an RFI from last year that might begin to explain the relationship between Virtra and Fidelity Technologies.
that article is from 2006.
bummer........thanks for the effort felix, whether I agree or not I always look forward to your insight
Interesting. I thought they'd be using our branching scenario software (like Cubic and L3) not so much our hardware. That presents another realm of possibilities. Thanks for the reply.
eschrine
That was my guess. We knew about Cubic and L3 but not Fidelity Tech.
lawyerboy,
in your report you reference "Fidelity Technologies Corporation" as displaying our simulators and software. Check out this link to bloomberg business. The press release (in the key developments section) includes 8 companies awarded 900 million to provide 900 simulators. 3 of these companies (cubic, L3 and fidelity tech.) use our products. Do you remember what scenario fidelity tech. was running on the IVR180 in their booth?
Good report.

You and me both. Other than Ferris I'd like to know who else (or how many) is/are in the current engineering department they're looking to expand. I don't recall an engineer being hired prior to this. I'm guessing someone is looking to adapt virtra's system to other more mechanically complex applications.
http://virtra.com/corporate/careers
Virtra has 5 job openings. I think some of these are new (mechanical engineer, quality assurance/control). Another indicator of things ramping up.
I'm not sure. Just intrigued by the fact that the Miller Group's most recent (other than Virtra) client also deals with virtual environments, multi-screen applications and military contracts.

then again follow this link and look at Real Time Analytical and Real Time Optical. Real Time Companies is the last business to select the Miller Group. Combine this with the stated Philosophy of The Miller Group and a connection can be made.

62 employees. I didn't realize there were that many.
Only real surprise is that Don Andrus is no longer with the company. everything else as expected.
Here's another $200,000 added to the yearly total.
