Well, we have to know how much gas they actually have before we can worry about anything else, right?
Right?
I take issue with the people who try to show up to gloat or claim that they were right when what is occurring isn't remotely what they posted would happen.
I will bust on those guys all day.
I also take issue with anyone who posts infantile attacks against people who are posting thought-out intelligent-reading opinions.
If you don't want to learn, don't distract the class. It's that simple.
Yep.
If you look at the declining volume, we're already seeing this come into effect.
Easy money never sits around long enough to get dusty.
It's not doom and gloom it's reality, and making a personal attack against someone's credibility just because you choose to ignore that reality isn't helpful to anyone
On your first point, I disagree. I think a lot of people (most at this point I'd venture) who are selling at 7 are doing so because they bought at 6.
On your second point, yes... that's what makes this so frustrating. Before August hit, at least we had some benchmarks that we could look for as likely dates when the information would hit. Not a lot of factual information to support those benchmarks, but they sounded good. Now, we don't have that, so there's really nothing a person can do but grit their teeth and hold on.
You can't try to flip b/c the volume is so low, and buying in at 6 is so competitive that it seems to be taking days to get back in once you're out. Even a a small incremental flip has a horrible risk-reward ratio in my opinion. I'm going to sell 1 million shares, have the money sitting on the sidelines for a day or more, just so I can make 10-15% depending on my transaction costs?
I considered going crazy and trying to do another complete flip Friday, but that was when I was looking at selling at 9 and getting back in at 6 or 7, which would be a lot different, but it doesn't matter since the 9 only lasted about 30 seconds that morning.
They tried to walk it up on Friday (.0009) and Monday (.0008), but couldn't get a bidder to come with them. Yesterday, ten minutes before opening it looked like they were going to try it again, but two MMs slid in with .0007s on the ask, and that was that.
I'm out of patience as well, but I'm not changing my strategy with this company. There's still signs that we'll get a good run with decent numbers. After that, the price will probably collapse b/c of all the people taking their money and running, but that should cause it to dip to fast, so it'll rebound, probably giving us a healthy second run... if that happens.
We're not talking it down.
This isn't Looney Toons. If we ignore gravity, we're not just going to float in the air.
Looks like another edge of my seat, pulse pounding, adrenaline-fueled day of absolutely nothing.
Good because if someone was about to start implying that the reason we don't have numbers yet is because Magellen is sitting on the numbers while they initiate some kind of share buyback program and are trying to grab them cheap, I was either going to lose it or go into a joy coma.
In case anyone's wondering, that would be HIGHLY illegal.
30 Billion.
I think it's on the iBox
yeah, and it's only three weeks after you foretold 4s were days away, Nostradamus.
You're living proof of that.
It took me more than three days to get my last buy filled. It's a long line.
Yeah, I had decided to go all in, but the gap disappeared as did the 8s, so I cancelled.
Adding 25% to share total plus a couple hundred in cash definitely seemed worth the risk, though.
I bought at the bid. Y'know that thing you can't stand to do because you think it drives down the price, so instead you overpay for your shares.
Starting to stack on the ask, bid was already walled before opening at .0006. 90% of trades have been at .0007.
The gap is killing me. I'm looking at what I could pick up if I sold some shares at 8 and picked them back up at 6, but I'm scared the damn PR could come out today, and I don't want to miss it partially.
Is there anything driving this surge? I've been looking for news but haven't found any.
You and me both.
This sucks. I hope it's worth the wait.
No moves at 9, yet.
We may be back to 7/8 and spend the day there again.
WILL THIS DAMN REPORT NEVER COME OUT!
Any updates or new estimates on when ore extraction will begin or if they're going to need more money to get there?
What PRs are you expecting?
8/9, we start up.
I'm already in as deep as I can be, so I don't really care about buying opportunities.
I want to see this go up. Then, I either profit directly when the news hits OR it doesn't hit by Tuesday, and I can flip my shares for a gain.
I believe that's what the MMs are thinking also. I'm not really sure why NITE felt the need to put their foot on the brake earlier and keep it from hitting 9. Now, 8s are stacked.
We may not get to 9 today. Before I was thinking .001 was a possibility heading into the weekend.
Congrats.
I'm holding tight. Wrong type of action going for a flip, and I think they'll walk it up today. If we don't get news by Tuesday, they'll crash it again.
I'm just hoping they take it to .0012 before they drop it... in the event we still don't have news on the 4th.
I hope so.
I'm pretty sick right now. A month ago, my plan was to catch this run as heavy as possible, then move all the money to BEHL.
Have you seen what that has done this month?!
But it was not to be. Our PR is now one month late, and even though I'll catch this run a lot heavier than I would've, it still sucks to see the second runner of the relay take off before the first guy gets there with the baton.
OR...
We've seen this situation on L2 before. The ask stacked and NITE the only one at the BID. They could be trying to trick people into buying 7s, so they can drop it to 5-6 and buy back the shares they unloaded at 7.
Hopefully, this isn't the case, but it's a thought, and we have seen this happen before.
yeah, that was the goal.
Thanks for the heads up.
Definitely looks like we're going up this morning. Don't know if we can hold it, but it would be nice if this built through tomorrow afternoon on the anticipation of news.
Hey, how easy is it to get an order of 1s filled on this stock?
Good point. They could negotiate better terms with new lenders. They certainly should have better standing now that their product is on the market, and they're pushing to invade international markets.
Hey, there's nothing stopping you from flipping and making the same gains those of us that are flipping have been reaping. Don't hate the player, hate the game, man.
I don't think so, there are just two really long lines that have formed.
It took me over three days to get my buy order completely filled, and yesterday I was partialled 7 times before it finally filled the last 597K this morning.
I've given up on flipping for the moment. There's just too much gridlock for the gain I'd make.
Hang in there. Hopefully you've got a GF60 order and not just until the end of the day.
Yes, the people buying and selling the shares at the same price are what's holding this stock in a stable place.
Very good, Dewayne. Did you use your years of experience to come up with that or did you just go on a hunch?
Thanks. I'll keep my eyes on this one to see if anything changes.
The amazing thing is that orders like that are having zero effect on how deeply the L2 is stacked. It's deep, and it's staying deep on both sides. No price movement evident from the board.
Hey guys,
I'm doing some research on this company, looking to get in while it's cheap.
How do you guys feel about Hidalgo? What should I know?
Yeah, the log jam on the board has forced me to rethink my strategy. Screw flipping anything. From the behavior, I think there may be some expectation that we'll get numbers at the end of the month or at the beginning of August.
So, nothing to do now but wait.
