Thanks for the great DD on potential customers in Northwest Arkansas in following what the company stated- that they were having great reviews in that area. I wish all, or at least more, posters would bring some great DD to the table. Informed speculation, following up on what the company has stated is not a waste of time. It is a waste of time to put forth an opinion with no basis or DD for that opinion. Keep on, Niko, I appreciate all your hard work. Thanks. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Good post. And we can continue to talk about what hasn't been accomplished yet. Or, we can talk about what has. To me, it's like the 4 blind men who came upon an elephant. Each"saw" different aspects of the elephant. Some here have an accounting background and the bottom line is the bottom line. Some have worked in very large companies or even been in management. Some have been "investors" that have been burned on one penny after the other looking for the "one big one." Some people are constantly looking for another piece of info. So what do we see? Depends on who you are, what the perspective is you have. To me, HLNT has been building a network of companies that only has one purpose-a massive rollout. Is the technology proven? Yes, the first fleet deal has been signed. I used to read every post, but not now. I am convinced of where this company is going and I am buying more to that end. IMHO, Wait and see, Time will tell. GLTA, Jim
You're right. It is a start. Credibility from another company. And the next company to sign will give further credibility. People are looking for value and I have never seen so much value from a company like this. And yet, some will see the glass half full, some half empty. I understand this for a variety of reasons. What I don't understand is the person who sees a glass empty no matter what happens. Or, is there some kind of agenda? Wait and see. Time will tell. In the meantime, news is starting to get out there about 12% increased mileage and better power going up hills, where it would be most noticeable. I do have one question-where is our PR firm? Seems like there should be more news about this being released. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Whether the stock goes up or down in the short term, the event that is most compelling is-the first fleet deal has been signed. This sends credibility into the market which, in turn, will make it so much easier, and I would say compelling, for other trucking companies to take the next step and sign that purchase order. The first fleet deal is the best news that has come out all year. Now its time to just wait for the next sale and buy more. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
We have waited a long time for the first fleet deal. In waiting, there has been a lot of angst over what is taking so long. Well, it finally happened. And now, what do we see? Some think the glass is half empty-not enough revenue. Some think it half full-the beginning of the mother lode is here! Where is the truth? What did Mr. Coats mean when he said HLNT is a good long term investment? I think it means to stop waiting for the PR that says a million units have been sold, but expect that we are working on it diligently, however, it will take longer than most would like. On balance, wow, the first fleet deal has been signed. Was it for 5000 units? No, but it is a very positive start if you're looking at the glass as half full. Wait and see, Time will tell, GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim EDIT- the sign of a great leader is-does he surround himself with people smarter than him? Specifically smarter in fields that he does not have expertise? I have seen that in Mr. Coats. He is not trying to be a one man or one company show. He has entered into relationships with others to market, produce, install, service the units. Looks like it to me.
If thy don't price the units correctly, then they will be bought out by someone who will. This is way too beneficial to give away. Wait and see. Time will tell. Go HLNT, Jim EDIT-only thing that would make sense if selling units too low would be to get part of the savings back for say 2 years. I hope we haven't come this far to stumble on the goal line
Only because, in the past, the company doesn't seem to want to PR anything till it is completely done. Which leads me to wonder if the units are already installed. GLTA, HLNT, Jim
Do the units have an expected life, after which, they are replaced? TIA, GO HLNT, Jim
Do all of their units have the equipment installed? TIA, HLNT, Jim
It is also interesting to note that the last refining was done in July, about the time that Sparks and others started getting really excited about the explosion of this company. Then there were several more months of testing to see they had got it all tweaked. Then, who knows how long of negotiations on price, lease, however they sold it. Thank you Sparks and others for trying to let us know. GO HLNT, Jim
Been dot connecting so long it's hard to stop.....But what if the PR yesterday was for the HLNT longs that have stayed thru thick and thin and believed in this company? An opportunity for the longs to buy more for a week or two before letting loose with some more PR's. I am impressed with Mr. Coats and wouldn't be surprised. Wait and see. Time will tell. GLTA, Jim
But it wasn't the co. saying news this week. If we get news this week,I will be pleasantly surprised. Not expecting it because co. has not said to expect it. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
We each need to make our own investing decisions. I am convinced news(revenue) will come but until that happens I am not buying more. I am happy with my investment now, but am looking at other investments that have more promise now, versus, down the road. I am not convinced that "news is imminent." That has been the mantra since last July. Will it come this month? I don't know. If it does, I am prepared to buy more. Until news happens, I am following this stock closely, but not buying. Charts, momentum, none of that means anything to me. NEWS of REVENUE is the only thing that moves me. And, I have a sizeable investment here, so "I am not afraid of missing the big move." And, no, I am not a flipper,I see the value here. GLTA in the decisions you make, GO HLNT, Jim
How about and an Epa verified Hoss instead of or? If you're gonna dream, might as well dream big. Glta, Go HLNT, Jim
Interesting because Dong Feng says on its website that its model is EPA certified. My other big question is-is the HY IMPACT released to the market? Was just listening to the RED EYE interview again and wonder if Mr. Coats has released this technology. I know. I know. Wait and see, time will tell. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
What I'd like to know is, did the Hoss become EPA verified? That would be a PR to remember. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Hey, you posted a link to "Never give up". Don't remember the post number, but it sure was good. Thanks, Hot Penguin. HLNT, Jim
Isn't it amazing how quickly Humphries could get a hold of all the documents. A week or two. When he couldn't for the last year or so. Looks like he just demonstrated to the court that there was no reason for not filing those documents on time over a year ago. Seems like grounds for dismissal to me. Not a legal opinion. But common sense used to mean something. Maybe it still does. Time will tell. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Well, it was a November to remember. Reminded me of the shootout at the OK corral. The first day was quite a shootout, but at the end of the day most HLNT longs were still standing. After some grub and input from some of the longer standing members of the team we came to day 2. And it was a day to remember. Some of the uncheerleaders thought it was the end. But the longs came back and put their money where their belief in this company is and bought more. Much more. Blew the doubters out of the yard. And then we came to day 3. The smoke had cleared somewhat, but there were a few doubters left who were stll predicting the end of HLNT or close to it. But it never happened. And it was another green day. It is just amazing what a few people can do who believe in this company. Have a great weekend almost everyone and see you in December. GLTA, Jim EDIT-Now for a December to remember!!!!
I don't uderstand. On that site it says the 10-Q for the quarter is due Feb. 11. The 10-K for the year is due 4-1-12. Jim
I am not a lawyer, but I don't see the significance of the Humphries case. Seems like a little thing, but again, I don't pretend to know everything about the case. On outward appearance, it seems to be about two notes totalling 130,000. Seems like it would've been easier to pay the 130,00 just to be done with it and end the lawyer's fees. Wasn't that the justification in the other suit? Better to pay a little and get this over with? I am glad that Humphries has turned over many documents, which, may in the long run help HLNT, maybe with getting OTC current. Maybe these documents will even help end this case. One can only hope and I do. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
You're right. Especially about the Hoss. Did you ask Chad about the EPA certification? I wonder if someone or some group is working for a takeover of the company. I wonder if a buyout has been offered and HLNT turned it down. All I see is value in this company. And, no, you are not the only one. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
How about you, any confirmation of Hoss EPA cert.? TIA, Jim HLNT
I know it sort of got lost today, but has there been any confirmation on the EPA certification of the Hoss? TIA, Jim HLNT
About 3/4 down the page. Go HLNT, Jim
Send it to HLNT. Maybe they don't know yet that it was certified. GO HLNT, Jim
I, for one, don't want them to artificially turn into a fluff and puff pumping station. What I do look for is transparency. HLNT expected two milestones to be achieved by end of Oct. And one in Sep. September was expected finish of testing of Hoss. Oct. was EPA verification of those test results along with OTC current financials. I know things can take longer than expected. All I expect is when a milestone is not achieved that was predicted, hey, give me an update on when you do expect it. I think the technology of this company is amazing, just don't have any idea of when it is coming to market. My guess at this point is in 1st or 2nd quqrter next year. Why am I guessing? No info to base a real opinion on. I am not being treated to the respect that I expected from this company. I expect better than this. I thought Chad was better than this. And with 60,000 in sales last quarter, I know there is time to let out some info. I have funds to invest but not till I hear something from the company. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Many fleets run 3000 trucks or more. We don't know the sales price but to be conservatve X $6000= a bunch. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim PS-NIKODEMOS has done estimates.
Top of the page-1st stickie. Believe it is post 82887. Radio interview with CEO. GLTA, HLNT, Jim EDIT-well worth listening to whole interview.
I agree, but is it a management decision to hold back fleet deals for EPA verification? If I owned one of the trucking companies that was involved in testing and saw the increase in mileage, decrease in emissions, decrease in use of DEF fluid, and saw that payback was only 9-12 months, and then was told you can't have it yet, I wouldn't be too happy. It is hard to guess what is going on behind the scenes. I know Mr. Coats has a bitter taste in his mouth over the pump and dump schemes of a lot of pennies, specifically, he mentions one-SPG# that hurt a lot of people. Perhaps he is too cautious. All I know for sure is that a newsletter is being worked on. I believe in the management, and the products, but they sure owe us some info. IMHO GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
EPA verifies the results of using the HY-Impact device on a truck. They do not approve anything from my understanding, just verify results. HLNT has been verifying results with trucking companies installing the equipment on a number of trucks. Mr. Coats said that the results couldn't be better. My question is-if the EPA doesn't approve anything, what is the holdup to installing before EPA verification? EPA verification is also going on with the HOSS, but that would seem to be necessary for sales in US. My questions have been sent to HLNT before the deadline for the current newsletter. Hope they are answered. GLTA, Jim
What is a fella to do? Have to laugh or cry, and I'd rather laugh. So many pennies are just shells with no visible means of support. But this one-they have 35 employees, have launched relationships with others to do marketing, production, installation. They have come a long way from working out of a garage. I'm a poor guesser, but I'm guessing the EPA/CARB verification did not go as smoothly as they hoped. I'm also guessing they want that verification to go with fleet deals. If that's the case I don't know why they couldn't tell us. You couldn't damage the share price much more. In any case, I'm here for the long haul. GLTA GO HLNT, Jim
I don't know about a buyout. I am interested to hear about the basis for the DEC. 31st statement. Hope Ms. Marriott shares what's going on for the basis of that statement. That did not have to be said, however, now that it has, what's going on NEOM? I would like to see them dig out of the mess with YA. I am pleasantly surprised with the statement, looking forward to any knowledge of the basis for it. I sold out of NEOM when it was 0.23 after the last split. But I have continued following it, looking for the day when it could be a good investment. Will I find out today? Wait and see. Time will tell. GLTA, Jim
The only thing that comes to my mind when the word leak is used-results of testing being released by people who have knowledge of the test results. Wouldn't that be amazing-greater fuel economy and better engine performance with fewer emissions. Wait and see. Time will tell. By the way I have no insider knowledge. Just continuing to connect dots till HLNT releases info. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
I totally agree. Hopefully this goes away soon. Just another distraction for shareholders as well as management of HLNT. Mr Coats really took on several hornets nests when he took on CEO job. Looking down the road, I expect two things for Mr Coats-to be compensated well for his leadership and to be known as the man that helped develop and then brought a much needed technology to the marketplace. I think it is a testimony to him that he saw so much promise in this company, that he was willing to take on the distractions to bring these products to fruition. Long and Strong, GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Me thinks the MM's will make you pay as much as they can get to buy and give you as little as possible to sell. So a small amount can move it a lot depending on if it is a buy or sell. Oh for the day that fleet deals are announced and there is an end to all these MM games. Revenue drives stock price and there isn't much yet. Totally believe it will happen. But when? GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim EDIT-MM's are around for two reasons. To make a market and make money.
I don't know what to expect. Any day all the pieces of the puzzle will come together. Will it be today, this month, next month, 1st quarter next year? Don't know. All I know is the race is ready to start, the call has gone out to- gentlemen start your engines. Just waiting for the big race to begin-bringing the HY-Impact to the mass marketplace. In spite of my expectations, there are pleasant surprises. I am looking for them. I believe the company is doing everything it can to bring this to market. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
A November to remember. Thanks for all your encouragement. Come on, let's get this thing rolling. Do we need EPA/CARB verification to sell the HY-IMPACT line or is that only a requirement for California? As far as fleet deals, I understand why national trucking companies would need the verification because they would be driving thru California. Is that why the units being sold now are for fishing, logging, municipal vehicles and not fleet deals? TIA No more questions today, GLTA, enjoy some time with family and reflect on how far this gem has come in the last year. GO HLNT, Jim
Humphries has just demonstrated that he has no excuse. He produced all kinds of papers in a weeks time showing he has no excuse for not producing the papers a year+ ago when required by discovery. In producing the documents, maybe he has given HLNT the documents it needs to go current reporting. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
It is also a tremendous volume of material to go thru. Who determines what, if any, of these documents are relevant to anything? My understanding was this whole case was about two notes totalling 130,000. Sounds like his best attempt to get HLNT to offer some kind of paltry settlement to just get rid of this and stop the meter running on legal fees. I trust HLNT to make the best decision on how to proceed. Summary judgment seems like a good call. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
