Well I'm certainly pulling too. There is plenty of promise there. However it will take a bunch of work by management to get this to market. First things first. Maybe they will get this IND soon. That will be a good signal that the FDA agrees with the data about safety issues. Big delays would be a big problem though. After looking at the site you gave, I can't believe that the FDA has become overly conservative s some have suggested. That was quite a long list of approvals! Let's go!

Could be, they have similar sized market cap, but not any buza about takeovers of PPHM. PPHM has not broken out of the high end of it's trading range, has to go over 1.41 or so for that IMHO, but if the news hits it will go fast. I think the anticipation of that news is what gave the pop a bit of oomph, even if CRIS or other events triggered it.

PPHM, a small POS bio I've traded for awhile is on the move today. They are awaiting clarification from the FDA on starting a new trial. The issues appear to be minor and the clarification could come anytime now.

LOL it is the boonies in many ways. They need a bigger budget for the Taser(TM) machine gun! Many apologies because I was inaccurate in quoting the use of the word "rifle." I'm usually careful about that, but I only had time to scan the article quickly and I walked away with the definite impression of rifle. It caught my eye because I bought some TASR the other day (got a better price than Zeev by a dime or so <g>).

It was a short article, I could not find a link so here is the paraphrased Taser specific part.

"POLICE USE HIGH-TECH WEAPON TO SUBDUE DOG
By Lisa Davis - Staff Writer
A Geneva Police officer had to use a TASER gun on a dog Saturday evening.
The Police received a complaint of two loose dogs on East Union St, Saturday at 6:40 pm. Officer Roger Wilt and Capt. Gary Hold responded.
By then, the dogs had gone back home to 128 E. Union St, The officers went to the address, and one of the medium size mixed-breed animals charged Wilt, Holt said. Wilt had to shoot the dog wih his TASER gun several times before the dog finally retreated to the house, Holt said.
In March, the department took delivery of two X-26 TASER guns and received training. The city purchased the tools, which cost $800 apiece and are supposed to be nonlethal, to help officers when they must confront a person who is violent but armed, or ferocious animals. The TASER gun fires two probes that deliver shocks of up to 50,000 volts in a five-second burst. The electrical current disrupts a person's central nervous system. "

As in most stories in our local paper it leaves me wondering about various details. I am not sure how he shot the gun "several times" --maybe he triggered additional shocks while the probes were still in the dog. I also find it interesting that they went into the detail on model numbers etc. For an especially bizarre example of our local news try this. Too bad the Taser article was not on-line.
