Walmart killed the mom and pop shops.
They are also looking to getting into the health care business, I think they have a pilot program in the works,, they also hate unions.
Cheaper prices at what expense, hmm Obama like unions walmart doesn't hmm tariff war with China, most of the stuff made there for walmart Hmm, what's is the man up to, do you see maybe a pattern. Hey I just created a conspiracy theory i think

Nope she has no interest yet, I can help her with mutual investment but as for stocks I'm still a fish in a pond looking for a home..I have eaten enough bad fish food but I am learning from here and others...Patience is key, hard for a ginny to do that though :)
Some High Schools and Middle Schools teach about investments, but not but only to a certain degree My daughter while in middle school question about stocks from the clothing she wears and the food she eats etc..They would look at a paper and look at the stock price and see them change everyday. Keeping them interested without quick gratification is hard.
As they try and redo health care they should also redo school tenure ship crap. We need boot camps for the kids of parents that don't care so the one that want to learn can without distraction.. just my two cents worth...
Serious case of PMS if you ask me
maybe we will know the truth in 40 years like John Kennedy magic bullet
Bush was way to stupid to pull this off.
I cannot ignore the possibility of either or.
This could be the beginning of something real bad if you ask me.
I do not know what triggered Obama to do this but, maybe unions.
I caught a little of Bob Brinker on the radio and he was up in arms on this, he said they are 4 tire companies that manufacture I think are from the US that make there tires in China that would take the impact. He thinks this will impact more jobs around that.
Its like throwing a pebble in a pond and watch the ripples in the water affect and see what happens.
Could this also be the start of a movement to bring our manufacturing base back to the US but at what cost is the meantime is the question. Or i think like a crook mind kicks in, time to shakes out the markets for a correction. Hmmm
You know China is going to respond with something.
Whatever it is hold on guy and girls this should get interesting.
test 2
can some one help me out here, how do you get an image to stay with your post, every time you post.

UN calls for new global currency, Bloomberg says
The United Nations said that a new currency should be created to reduce the importance of the U.S. dollar in international trade and insulate emerging markets from the effects of financial speculation, Bloomberg reported. A global reserve bank should issue the new currency, the world body added. Reference Link :theflyonthewall.com

BofA CEO: Will Stay Until Co Pays Back TARP Funds-FTLast update: 3/2/2009 1:42:33 PMDOW JONES NEWSWIRES Bank of America Corp. (BAC) Chief Executive Ken Lewis said he would stay on at the company until it paid back the $45 billion it received from the U.S. government's Troubled Asset Relief Program. "I want to repay the TARP money before I go anywhere, and by then I think we will be seeing the success of the Merrill Lynch acquisition," he told the Financial Times, according to a report on the newspaper's Web site Tuesday. "It would be very easy to disappear into the sunset but we have to slug through this." He added that he hadn't considered resigning "for one second." Lewis said it could take two to three years to pay back the funds. He also admitted a tactical error in taking $20 billion government aid to support the bank's acquisition of Merrill Lynch, which lost $15 billion in the fourth quarter of last year. Instead, he said, the company should have requested $10 billion. "In hindsight, it was a tactical mistake because it put us in the same category as Citigroup (C)," Lewis said. "We could still have had 8% tier 1 capital after a $15 billion loss but we wanted a cushion."
