APRAD...great piece of recon there...should be required viewing for all board members...pretty comprehensive presentation on the proposed CTL plant in Muhlenbergh Co. as well as a very good primer on the whole CTL process and it's economic viability...for those of you that haven't watched yet..the CTL stuff doesn't start up until half way thru the video so you have to forward ahead unless you want to watch a segment about tomatoes and salmonella...there's also an interesting presentation after the CTL pitch about the energy markets in general that's very good.
Got an email today from a friend that runs a hedgefund in regards to NSOL..please note that this is a casual conversation and doesn't involve any insider knowledge just an exchange of opinions and his opinion is one based more on T/A than anything else..anyhoo here is reply email............"One of my preliminary forecasts indicated NSOL's summer rise could occur in July, maybe extending into August. I will take another look in a week or so,to see if I can confirm it and nail down some timeframes. That forecast suggests waiting until late June or early July before diving in. Technically, shares are getting very oversold and sentiment is horrible. These are two great things too see before a turnaround can occur. Of course all of the above is just my 2 cents". <EOM>..just thought I'd throw that in the opinion mix...FWIW...Nuke....
Maaybee....they would like to see the price come down to get a better price on the stock as a buy...and there are some people on this board that have lost a significant amount of money on this stock who get really pissed off when people prattle off irrelevant positive affirmations about how things are going to get better when they just never do...ie..the ever declining share price, relentless selling, failed company projects that have never come to fruition and most of all the lack of communication between Herda and the shareholders...not knowing what is going on with a company when the pps drops on an almost daily basis is incredibly frustrating as expressed here on the message boards...most of the "negative" questions that people pose here are ones that none of us have any answer to because the companies involved just aren't forthright with the information...it comes down to a matter of one persons guess being as good as another's...and when your losing money you assume the worst...
yeah "Tom the last time I posted was 2 weeks ago 8oes"...where you been...vacation???...did you bring us back anything from Saudi Arabia??? now all we have to do is locate cytrxman...I hope someone took his shoelaces away from him..he hasn't sounded too happy lately...
yo yo yo, bro..I be feeling dat' dog..how dare he come here to our hood...in our crib and start dissin' the brothers fines..whaddup wit dat...like we be a buncha ignirant no count clucks...mmmm...mmmm...no he dihint....
flying back from Saudi on a magic carpet with a big bag of rupees and a Genie in a bottle that will grant our every wish! ALLAH AKBAH ABRACADABRA.....and may a weird holy man invest your money on a diseased yak....
Maybe what we need to do is go out and start pounding the message boards for other alt. energy and energy stocks on yhoo and I-HUB...I know that I've gotten some good ideas on occasion form people recommending other stocks on different boards...we start our own ad campaign for NSOL...CALL CRAMER...EMAIL CNBC...CALL BLOOMBERG...C'MON TROOPS DO YOU WANT TO GET OUT THERE AND PLAY FOOTBALL FOR COACH HERDA OR WHAT....ONWARD NSOLDIERS......
WOW...hope you took some profits when it ran up in the two's..I started following this about 2 months before that happened..Oddly enough I heard about NSOL on this radio show and they had this psychic on..Sean David Morton and once a year he comes on and does his stock picks and market forecasts for the year and one of his picks was NSOL. I checked it out the next day on the screen and it was trading at .38 and when the market opened the thing shot up to .80 on no news..so I,m guessing it was on his recommendation that a bunch of people piled into it at the same time, and guess who one of his biggest fans is...why none other than our very own treasury secretary Hank Paulson and at that time Paulson was running Goldman Sachs and I know for a fact that Paulson was a subcriber to Morton's newsletter. The guy just has an amazing hit rate for picking winning stocks. This year most of his picks were all in the precious metals which have done real well except for today and Google...you know the story there. I was emailing a friend of mine that runs a hedgefund and we were discussing NSOL today he originally said he didn't think this would put in it's lows till the end of June but that he'd look at it again and get back to me. What do you think of our prospects from here..does .14 look like the bottom to you?
didn't know it ever got that low....right now there doesn't seem to be any sellers...maybe this is one of those days where they'll just sit back and let it go up.....
someone has to know....
Although it looks very tempting here at a new low..T/A..suggests that this is a confirmed sell...we still have 2 or 3 weeks before we get any news on KY and I doubt we'll hear anything from Larry before then..plenty of time for the sellers to wreak havoc on pps..I can't even remember the last time we closed higher than our open..if you look at the order book it still looks like it still favors the buyers rather than the the sellers...don't mean to sound to bearish..but if your going to buy.just don't load the boat in one shot..do it in stages...we're all bottom fishers here and nothing gets us going like a new low but and braggin' rights about a cheaper cost basis but it can also suggest more weakness..I thought it was the bottom at .50 .40 .30 .20 and .18....the way the level 2's are configured it looks like we could hit .10 possibly...as incredibly boring as it sounds how about MSFT down at 27 and change looks like the real bargain .IMHO..LOL..HAPPY HUNTING...N....
thanx for the info...will put in a stop at .05......
Amarkii...why bother to go into a battle of wits with an an unarmed person...I don't think squirldic was commenting on you it was someone else...but still annoying none the less...
yeah..but you almost always get those dummies that will buy the ask at the open everyday and as long as your just 1/10 of a cent below the next guy you can almost always get a fill...bit of a cheap trick but it works more times than not.
you know I've tried that trick before...buying a few hundred shares at the close to take up the price at the end of the day to make the stock look stronger for the next days open and it only seems to aggravate the sellers into dumping even more the next day...
To recent Yahoo Board Refugees....as far as nothing new being said here....What type ot startling revelation is it that DB is selling shares...WOW..NO KIDDING...WHAT A SUPERSLEUTH..no one here was able to figure that out..you guys must really be on top of it...great piece of DD...as far as trashing Herda and Romano goes that remains a relevant complaint until they come clean and resolve the current situation...and nobody bitches about NSOL/IA more than you do X,except for maybe your good buddy Casso...and squirtdoc..as far as somebody organizing shareholders into DOING SOMETHING..it was someone from this board..5 YEARS...that actually did that. I remember it was about a month ago that he went over to the YHOO board to try to solicite help in uniting shareholders and all you guys did was call him a scammer. One can be a pompous ass and throw out phrases like "a level of corporate governance heretofore unseen"..but in order to ESCHEW OBFUSCATION..why don't you just call a spade a spade and say they're an inept bunch of A-HOLE's instead of trying to disguise the same old crap in pretentious legaleese...ya know were just plain ol' ignorant pigfarmers here who never had no need for booklearning and such...I reckon that years of inbreeding and moonshine drinking have just addled our cranial neurons to the point where we can't post as eloquently as you fancy folks from yahoo...PEACE/OUT....NUKE
yeah but, PPS has already been hammered down to new 52 wk lows. It's not what people know its what they don't know that worries them with a stock like this. I don't think we would be bottom fishing here in the teens if more visibility had been provided.
and that is the most puzzling part...Why is he not calling BS on this whole deal...why is he not saying anything...if it's all crap then why this 4 month QUIET period...it makes it appear as if NSOL is in agreement with whatever PR that IA releases and that everything is kosher.
I got an email from the KY energy dept. last friday and was trying to nail them down on the date for a decision on 2.5 mill. and this was their reply......."Our agency intends to award grants during the upcoming state fiscal year. We will issue a Request for Proposals in the coming months. Projects will be funded if they meet eligibity requirements and are ranked highly by our office"....EOM...it would be nice to know what other projects we're up against in this funding grab...
What bothers me about this supposed T/O is that Larry never had the money to go through with it and still doesn't and we didn't know that until this last PR when he finally comes out and says that he has to go overseas to "talk" to investors. Shouldn't he have lined up that whole angle before he even started talking about a T/O, and why was there no mention previously about not having the money to do this deal. Evidently the big sellers knew the money wasn't there. Now he can excuse himself out of the deal by blaming the overeseas investors. It's never a good sign for companies like this when you see the banks selling off...meaning investment money is going to dry up...and NSOL is all about needing a whole bunch of investment money.
Technical analysis..todays candlestick pattern formed a white spinning top representing complete indecision between the bulls and the bears......
maybe we'll get our once a week buy program today..where they take it up into the close...watching the level 2's to see if those .18's start dissappearing...
At least we finished up on the day, while all the other alt. fuel stocks were down.
Unfortunately I have too agree with most everything you're saying..I guess am just clutching at straws right here..I looked at that post after i wrote it and had to wonder if I really believed it or not.. I do think the stock will have a run but it will probably take another couple weeks to sort things out. This stock usually does the opposite of whatever you think it should do. I'm surprised we're not in the red right now the way energy is getting clobbered..and tommorow will probably be more of the same.Might have to take a look at SYNM or RTK for the bounceback when oil goes back up.
That is an interesting analysis...are you sure you're not an insider? How low do you think this stock can be taken down in the near term before the next PR?
That was Jeff's commentary...but I think the reason for Larry's statement is an attempt to negotiate down the T/O price.
The article is from May 13..I think it's one of those letters to the editor pieces ..I believe somebody may have posted it here or at least parts of it on the message board.
I share that POV..this stock has become the MONSTER UNDER THE BED that you're afraid to look at. I guess that is all part of the manipulation/capitulation process going on to get everyone to run off the cliff like a bunch of lemmings. I think the prospects for the company now are much more positive than they were say a year ago when the pps was around the .50 range. We are on the verge of being acquired. We are on the verge of receiving grant money to build plants in KY. As long as oil stays above $70/brl the new plants would be making a profit and at current levels would be making a very nice profit indeed. What else are you going to put in your tank, french fry grease. It is just as much speculation to say that these things won't materialize as to say they will. Don't want to go into a longwinded bull rant here but current share price is just unwarranted...IMHO...
Thanks Jeff...sorry i misstyped...it's the 2.5 million that i was trying to make reference to but the question is still the same. I was wondering what the criteria involved would be for the energy depatments decision. What is it that would make the project either feasible or unfeasible,or is it just a matter of allocating funds elsewhere within the dept. to other competing projects deemed to be more lucrative that will determine our position. I'm trying to eschew obfuscation here.
What would the reason be for the 665k to not be approved by the KY energy dept. Is there some kind of review board of scientists that debate the merits of the coal conversion process and then render a decision. What exactly is it that KFA/FFI have to do at this point for the funding to go through?
I don't think pps is the indicator...the bears usually dump an already weak stock ahead of any type of pending news event..sell the rumour/sell the news...sell..sell..sell...enough already...we've already priced in everything short of bankruptcy at this point for chrissakes..I should be getting an email from this William Bowker sometime here...maybe we can get a little more info out of him...
Hey Doc....just tried calling the KY energy dept. Couldn,t get through to the person I needed to talk to, but his name is William Bowker and his phone number is 502 564 7192. I also sent off an email requesting information so am still waiting for a getback...ps can you get me script for like about 100 seconals...I think I'll just take a little nap and hopefully never wake up....
Funny how all the permabulls vanish when the price drops... If you believe your own posts it would seem like now would be the time to restate or defend a position.
OK.... just curious. Didn't want to miss out on any earth shattering news.
Try reposting and see if anything happens...it seems like more and more posts have been getting yanked lately.
walker....one was a response to CYTRXMAN and another was a response to DOC..not you and as far as info being old its quoted from the most recent REAL info there is out there so far..and in regards to any commentary on your commentary I have no idea what your talking about.
What happened to posts 461,462,464,and 465? there was one very good post on there from somone who worked with a firm that short sells stocks that sounded very interesting any paerticular reason why that was pulled?
InterAmerica and the senior management of NSOL are engaged in the FINAL negotiations for this acquisition. IA has been concerned about the recent market conditions and share price of NSOL,but inspite of these factors are moving forward because of the overwhelming support by local government, as well as the multiple opportunities that exist in the state of Kentucky that FFI has begun to capitalize on regarding the coal to liquid fuels proposed facilities.
Doc.....there is a remote possibility that IA will come thru according to your sources???...care to elaborate on that at all?...how good is your SOURCE...it's not someone involved in this never ending message board rumor mill is it?
Hey C-MAN...good morning...ready for another uplifting week of fear and loathing in Kentucky ..I live in Boulder...no aliens looking thru the window here...unless they're the illegal ones looking to steal your stereo...ps..I have some spare copies of the video LOOSE CHANGE about the 9/11 fiasco...if you want I can send you a copy....
