What do you mean by a retailer's page? This is a "doing business as" kind of page so its easier for customers to find and remember the product? Gotta admit this freaked me out for a second as this looks like a total knock off of the Diamond CBD page, so I was wondering if something fishy was going on.
Was waiting for .0011 but gave in and grabbed at .0012.
It feels like any sort of product news should make it go up but what might you imagine would be a product reveal to make it go down?
I've got 450,000 shares at .00115 cost as a "roll the dice" here. How many do others usually buy "on a gamble"... because this feels like a total short term gamble if we don't even know the product.
Did mine at $3...I'll be happy to get the $500k if someone fills it!
Below is my post from 10/13:
Let this sink in everyone: June sales $1,113,000...August sales $1,764,000...monthly sales increased 58% in 2 months!!!!
I just did quick math and if monthly sales increase only 5% per month from Sept 2017 to Dec 2018, then 2018 annual sales will be $35 million. Aka the value of the company (at $.06) of $35m will equal 1x sales. And that is being conservative.
We are sitting on a goldmine. If it grows at just 10% per month over the same period (vs the 30% in July and 20% in August) we would see $65m in sales next year.
I agree. I predict a floor of $35m and ceiling of $65m. I think $50m fits nicely in there. That means we are trading a less than 1x 12 month forward looking revenue.
Buy now or forever hold your peace.
See my previous posts, I lay out my thoughts on projections. And I will repeat myself, if you think 2017 revenue will be less than $15m you're thinking way too small, I think it will hit $16-$18m given the holidays.
MammaB what have you found in your research on Autism and CBD? Neighbors child has autism and is looking for natural alternatives.
Very helpful thanks!
Article says this range at .06-.07 is "strong accumulation". How do people know that's what's happening and what does it mean? Aka implications. Trying to edumicate myself.
Nice! That's got me breathing easier that someone is doing something because what I watched on 60 Minutes was a complete disregard for public health and safety in the name of corporate profit (surprise, surprise)
I wish you were right but just finished watching tonight's 60 Minutes on Opioids and drug lobbyists have basically castrated the DEA with new legislation. It's a shame. So frustrating.
CBD can save lives but it will have to be a grass roots movement of the people and at the state level. Federal level appears to be bought and paid for sadly.
Agree, we need to not worry too much about the discounts, its a tool...a function of their pricing strategy...it allows them to capture a larger client base...some buy it at list price because they're ignorant of the discounts available (they don't heavily advertise them that I know of except IRMA one), others won't pay that much and only buy at discounted price. They have to have a margin sufficient that they make money on a 50% discount as well so it about capturing a larger piece of the pie, and even on a day with a 50% discount my guess is only 30-40% of purchasers are actually utilizing the discount, so the discount may be effectively the same as if they automatically gave everyone a 20% discount, so not as bad as it may seem.
Given year to date sales of $8M through August, the only way to hit $10M for the year ending 12/31/17 is to have sales of $500k per month for Sept-December...that would be a 70% drop from the August level of $1.7M...that by definition would be a catastrophic meltdown.
I just don't see this company going backwards in monthly sales (meaning $1.7m floor) and that would mean worst case ending 2017 at $15M ($8M YTD through August = $1.7M/month for Sep-Dec).
So my comment was meant as a good thing...if you're thinking this is anything other than at LEAST a $15M/year revenue company going forward you're thinking too small.
$10m this year would mean a catastrophic meltdown and time to sell asap. I think worst case scenario is $12m and that will be a major let down. If sales stay flat from August levels the rest of the year it's $15m and I expect a spike around the holidays.
On the 50% discounts people typically just end up buying more and spending the same vs spending less for the same amount (due to perceived scarcity of the sale price). So 50% sales I expect to show up in the bottom line number not in sales.
Welcome back BullMkt! You've made the right move!

Read the report (thanks for the link) and don't like it...I agree 100%, why go with this firm. The report basically says that EastWest firm didn't do sufficient testing to support their opinion and when they offered the firm the opportunity to reply to the PCAOB allegations, the firm declined. Not good.
POTN probably got a good sales pitch and a cheap price and didn't do their due diligence on the firm. They need to be better than that. If I hadn't need their website, ordered their product and everything else it would make me more concerned, but if they want to be legitimate, this does not help.
They must consider the audit a "tick the box" kind of compliance exercise and figure anyone doing it is fine so they go with the cheapest.
To heck with the "dip on the good news" sadness I see on the board...
This is great news we've been waiting for (and note the tone of explanation of why it was late and promise to be timely going forward)! I celebrated with another 10,000 shares @ .0605.
This company is now...today!...producing annualized monthly sales of $21,000,000...let that sink in. If they had flat sales for the next 12 months, they would have a yearly sales of $21M.
Please speak up and reply to this post if you think their monthly sales will either go down or stay flat going forward. (I actually think we might see some slight disruption in sales from Irma in September...one time blip).
So I'll assume no one replies that we're going down, that means a company with AT LEAST $21M in sales is valued at $35M...and with 20-30% month over month growth, how can this not be at $25M - $30M sales next year? Stock prices today are supposed to price in future expectations...for whatever crazy reason this one is not...that folks is called an arbitrage opportunity (markets are not factoring in all available information...asymmetrical information likely because this stock is so small that its off peoples radars).
There is no fluff in this stock price...this is the floor, how can it not be given the sales and that its profitable. Unless this is some massively concealed scam, this is it folks, you're chance to finally beat the "all knowing" stock market. Now do your patriotic duty as an American looking to "beat the system" and get out there and buy some more stock like I just did!
Nice! So glad I didn't sell during the "Panic of Early October"...
Wisdom! (I just wish I knew about this stock back then)...perspective is everything. Thanks for the reminder.
At the end of the day if the .002 difference in our cost basis ends up mattering, we are both screwed on this stock! My fingers are crossed for the future where it's a buck and we're both flashing gold chains and what not. ??
Anyone invested in HMMJ (the MJ ETF out of Canada)? I tried to buy it and its equivalent OTC stock in TD Ameritrade and it denied me (even though it lets me buy POTN)...
I think that ETF style basket of companies approach to MJ is the way to go...we don't yet know who the "winners and losers" are going to be, but averaging out that individual company risk the key and instead investing in the sector's potential.
Anyone know of any other ways to play the MJ investment sector without having to invest in some of these fly by night companies with no functioning business model?
POTN sold more in Q1 2017 than it did in all of 2016 and then in July sold as much as in Q1...not sure how much more moving forward is required...typically exponential sales growth is cause for celebration.
My gut is telling me they're going to grow this the old-fashioned way (organic sales growth) and its going to be slow and boring and some folks will give up on it and right after you do..."pow" it will take off for whatever reason...hope I'm wrong, but my main goal now is capital preservation...if it stays above my cost basis $0.062, I'm fine and will give it a while, this will not be an overnight "ten bigger" but when it works its way up, it will stay up and you'll make money and be happy in the end.
Has everyone lost their darn minds?!?!?
Below is my attempt to debunk all this garbage I am seeing in the last few days (I am a CPA/MBA and Finance VP in a mid-sized company):
1). New CEO: He was already Medical Director at POTN, the existing CEO went up to Board Chair...this is just a governance restructuring...no news there.
2). The evil Brother (of new CEO): New CEO was already a senior officer in the company...CEO's boss is the Board...old CEO is head of Board...what has changed? How can you think that CEO gets to run around willy-nilly with unchecked power? So if this fox has been in the hen-house all along with his evil brother in his ear, why is this now an issue?
3). Audit Firm: isn't this the same firm everyone was praising a few weeks ago?
4). Audit: Audits are an annual occurrence at the end of a fiscal year...no one gets one monthly or mid-year...they cost money and take time (several months). POTN went with this fly-by-night firm because they're a tiny company and can't afford the big guys. Their business is also probably quite simple to audit.
5). "Everything is sold out": No its not, there's a ton of inventory there...the company doesn't have the capacity to keep such a backlog of inventory that everything is always in stock. Also the "sold out" is good for this company as it gives the impression of high demand. Plus don't forget their product is a CBD Oil delivery system...whether "Watermelon Flavor" is in stock or not, demand is inelastic and people will just pick the next closest flavor because they want the CBD not the gummy bear.
6). "Why deep discounts": because they're trying to build brand loyalty and sales volume...They have a decent profit margin, do you really think it costs $20 to make a small bag of gummy bears? So they price up and use discounts to lure sales...it worked on me...I used 2 50% promos to buy $100 worth of product...I never would have spent $200 for the same thing, but I ended up buying more because it was on sale...and got some for a friend.
What the heck has changed in the last few days that we're down $.01??? Nothing! This same crew was just talking about "we're about to break out in a big way" and now we've got a few folks on here trying to rattle the group.
This same thing happened on the way to $.045 a few months ago...it was Charles Vacarro this and CV that and "oh this is a scam"...that all got real quiet when it went up...in the meantime the underlying business didn't change at all, just established a stronger sales record.
Thanks for the heads up...used the code today.
I read a lot on here about the sold out products, but browsing the website, there is still a TON of available product. I never had the sense that I was deprived of any options due to that. Plus I have read some complaints on their website about price, but I've now made two bulk purchases with two 50% promos and consider the prices to be great! Bought a lot more than I would have without the discount.
FloridaInv...I've come to really appreciate and trust your stock knowledge here...so PURA is new to me...any chance you could share why that might be another good investment?
Ha! I love it, maybe I didn't try enough, I need to start waking up like a champ!
Ok tried out my first Diamond CBD purchase...I agree with all, great buying experience, where items were sold out I just picked comparable related items and it was no issue, all good.
Now as for the actual product, I started eating 1 Chill Gummy at around 10pm last night...it took a while for me to feel anything (maybe 30 minutes) and then felt "heavy" just wanting to sink into the sofa and watch TV and do nothing...I described it to my wife as a "reverse coffee"...felt the same as after coffee but more relaxed vs. more awake. When I woke up at 7am I felt really tired and sluggish and a light "foggy" headed feeling...didn't feel like doing anything or feel like thinking at work. By mid-day today back to normal. To be honest I didn't really like this morning's feeling (would be great if on vacation, not if needing to go through my day).
Just curious, does this sound like others experience? Would it have been different if I ate 2 gummies?
Can you possibly explain to me how to interpret that chart...it's all Greek to me
"A watched pot(holding networks) never boils..."
It feels like this stock is doing nothing because we're all checking the price and this board every 15 minutes, but if you step back and look at the 3 mo/annual chart, its behaving like any stock would (and I agree showing an ascending triangle)...we can't expect instantaneous move to $.30 or $.50...if that price were a certainty, the stock price would already be there (no arbitrage in efficient markets). We're all here because we believe in the underlying fundamentals of the company...we now have to allow time for them to build a consistent history of increasing revenues and operating margins, that is the backbone upon which the stock price will climb.
Lets also cut them a little break on the August results...they've been through a major hurricane (maybe they gave employees a few days off to deal with house damage, etc.), they're not under requirements to post by a certain date, and they're probably coordinating with the auditors as it sounds like the auditors will be reviewing or certifying results (not auditing, that's annual)...that all takes time.
Nice! Thanks for the update. How long did the chill end up lasting? How many gummies did you take?
Knight made my first order last night, got 50% off with IRMA code, now waiting (7-10 day shipping period feels a bit long in the age of Amazon, but also I was too cheap to pay for expedited shipping)...Please give a full report on the experience after you try...
PS, to all my fellow longs, run the 3 month POTN chart on iHub and put a ruler under the line from that August 14th low forward and look at that beautiful upward trend!! (Picked up 7,500 more shares as a little treat to myself today!)...seems like every low since 8/14/17 has been about $.50 higher than the previous...we just recently passed the $.060 low stage, do you think we'll see below $.065 again?
WIC we are cost basis brothers...my 130,000 is at .0608! About to make my first order from Diamond CBD...
How did you find the delivery process? How long to deliver? Consistent and reliable service? Do they bombard your inbox with a bunch of advertising emails after you've ordered?
Knight, I've got 130,000 reasons why I'm not going anywhere. Long and strong on POTN!
I also think one of the biggest marketing tools for POTN is going to continue to be general public awareness/education...I had no idea what CBD was before my brother in law told me about POTN a month ago, now I'm very curious.
If they're doing this well when the DEA has classified CBD as a Schedule 1 drug (crazy BTW), imagine what will happen when a more liberal administration changes that designation...
I personally like that the stock price is depressed, it give me time to do more DD, watch the company's revenue/operations solidify and make strategic buys vs. me panic buying as the price races to the moon...I'm patient and fine with a 5 year time horizon...POTN's gonna help me put the kids through college and they're 5 now.
Welcome!
Its currently trading at a little over 2x anticipated 2017 revenues (in the $14-$15m range IMHO)...Given current growth, I think $20m is a reasonable 2018 revenue projection (if not conservative)...Per the SeeThruEquity report for POTN, the competitor average is to trade at 20x revenue. Thus I would see a market cap of between $40m - $400m at the extreme high...I'll guess a market cap of $100m (vs $37m currently), that would translate into $.17 per share and assume a 5x revenue valuation (again I think this is pretty "safe"/conservative)...
I think what everyone here is salivating about is the $400m valuation where its $.70 per share and you get an 11x return on investment in 15 months.
Knight when you try them, please share what the experience was like (or maybe someone here can chime in)...I'm still unclear what happens on CBD oil...
Does it make you all goofy like pot? Could I do a math problem after eating a bunch of gummies or read a book or am I just "crashed out"...etc. Just curious. Could someone tell you're "on something", like could you take some in the middle of an office job work day?
Carm like the calm before the storm, yours is the broke before the filthy rich!
You're right where I want to be (200k shares)...I only had the "grapefruits" to pick up 10,000 shares today and get myself to 130k at a .0608 cost basis.
Very helpful backstory Monte!
I think that now explains when I was reading the posts about a month ago and the stock dipped down to $.045, why everyone was cursing the name of Charles Vacarro...I assume he ran the old company or had some relationship and it was assumed there was a dilution going on...
I see a product "RSHO" which advertises a "THC free" form of CBD...does anyone know if Diamond CBD has the same THC free form of any of its products...I know the amounts of THC are negligible, but its that small fear of a positive drug test or some form of illegality which to date has kept me from trying the product.
Thanks for another well supported and logical post Doris! I think $100M can come (and when it does I see share prices of $2.5 - $3.5 per share based on market cap of $1.5B to $2.0B), but I think its going to take some time to get there.
The string of "sold out" items on the website tells me there are some growing pains (refinement of their logistics) that needs to happen first...my guess is $100m would be 2021 or 2022's revenues....$3.5 per share would turn my $7k investment into $400k which would be a phenomenal investment over a few years.
Question: do you feel the regulatory uncertainty (DEA says CBD is illegal [?], Attorney General, Trump administration in general) has been fully priced into the stock's current price?
Thanks Monte, very helpful! The R/S is very interesting to me, I wasn't aware of that...that happened before they were POTN and they were the Auto Mall?
I guess I don't understand why the R/S is such a bad thing...its it just slicing the pie a different way and making share price look more palatable (I can have 1,000 sh at $1 or 1 share at $1,000 but I still have the same thing)? Yet I know they're "bad"...can someone help me understand why?
