Yes Zorax' pics are really good.
Thanks!

I guess some people think vacuum waste is organic? Or they use their vacuums to suck up all food spills, , must be really messy eaters!
Feb in Canada is the coldest month, they seem to not mention this lol.
Now I'm curious, going to have to try this!
oh and .. LMAO! "Toss in a can of condensed tomato soup (without the can)"
that's too funny, and it wouldn't surprise me if people started collected KD and sold on Ebay or amazon as collectors stuff, when one day only organic exists. Just make your own mack and cheese, that tastes way better.

yes, same over here, hard to spot.
Just browse through this site to get ideas, https://www.celestron.com/
You need a tracking mount.
Decide whether you want a compound scope or a refractor.
Small refractors are good for quick setups with cameras.
Camera you need adapter to connect to back of scopes, so find the right one for your camera. However you might want to get an astronomy camera, many to chose from, deep space or planetary etc.
Don't ever go for department store scopes, you'll get turned off.
Solid mount and tripod, and good optics are important.
More good places to browse.

There's some very high quality sites, very expensive though.
No clouds here, but atmosphere was thick, so seeing was poor.

TONIGHT! COMET NEOWISE'S CLOSEST APPROACH TO EARTH: Tonight could be your best chance to see Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) for the next 6,800 years. On July 23rd, the comet makes its closest approach to Earth--only 0.63 AU (103 million km) away. It's visible to the naked eye from dark sky sites, and an easy target for digital cameras. Here's where to look just below the Big Dipper:
Kinda bitter sweet isn't it? Because COVID is behind most of it. Creating exceptional winners, companies that gain from the situation, and then there's those that suffer. TUP I liked as it was a mess prior to COVID and is a turnaround story!

Yes exactly.
AZ mounts end up with field rotation if they are not really advanced, stick to equatorial mounts.
that's a beautiful picture, camera has potential, sorry can't help why you are not seeing Jupiter!
If we want to get a perfect picture, we need to use a tracking mount, to get ride of the star trails and add information depth to the comet. This by far is my favorite, and I intend to get one once they make more lol.

Thank you
To answer the pointing question, this is from the ISS, my settings, F5.6 ISO 800 and bulb with remote switch, so I take pictures at various exposures, chose my favorites and combine them in photoshop once I layer them, this gets rid of the camera noise and grain in the image. If you have several shots of yours, which by the way I like very much, I can clean them up.
Focus I used live view, which allows me to see the object on led, and has 3 times zoom feature. However to focus, I switch to a bright star, lock in the focus manually, and slew camera over to the comet.
I just uploaded one I took yesterday, it was through clouds and trees, but what I found interesting is the core got a green hue to it, perhaps it has molecules cyanogen (CN)2 and diatomic carbon (C2) which both glow characteristically green when ionized, I used a 600mm small refractor scope to get in close.
it's just a picture link I put on my twitter feed, see if this works,

It's even possible there's some cash settlement coming, you never know. Perhaps the lenders took more than 23 million, and some is owed back.
"The Company’s total indebtedness to the New Lenders was approximately $23 million. Discussions between the Company and the New Lenders to extend or refinance the Company’s existing credit agreement were unsuccessful. Pursuant to the Foreclosure Agreement, in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code, the Company was released from all indebtedness to the New Lenders in exchange for the surrender of the Company’s collateral securing its obligations under the credit agreement. The collateral consisted principally of the capital stock of the Company’s subsidiaries, Wakefield, Specialty and Lockhart.
As a result of the Foreclosure Agreement, the Company has no remaining operations and a de minimus amount of cash."
"As a result of the Foreclosure Agreement entered into by the Company described in its Form 8-K filed on February 16, 2005, Alpha has advised that it has no remaining operations and a de minimus amount of cash. The Staff believes that the Company is not currently engaged in active business operations and is therefore a “public shell,”"

Guess who the punter was ...
"The Canadian Football League team was interested in using him as a punt returner, but it was reported that, of the 21 punts lofted in his direction that afternoon, Johnson was only able to catch one. He missed 20, and the two parties quietly parted ways.”
