Of course you don't. It'd take stepping out into reality. You see some of us realize that not everything in penny stock land is above board. That there are actually unscrupulous people enriching themselves knowing full well a drug is ineffective or impractical. Knowing this we invest cautiously, hoping for the best but executing the worst. Believing that the SEC, FDA,and Woodford's of the world are watching out for us small investors, we continue on, hoping, only to be let down time and time again.
"I don't get that position"
It works like this; For every share a long term shareholders own they get to buy one at a discount. It's was a nice way once to raise good money and assure loyalty and respect. You're probably too young to remember it.
So shareholders and shareholder updates are a distraction? I see.
Not clear, why is it completely off the table?
Remarkable isn't it? A company clawing and scratching just to stay alive with cash, and this is how they behave.
Nonsense. Ever wonder why Powers doesn't offer up poor shareholders a reward program, providing them with the "opportunity" to buy warrants of a sort, just as a thank you for their loyalty? With all the love here it'd certainly be enough to get across the finish line, as many here believe is so close.
Many moons ago I asked the same question of Peregrine's shareholders/ management and was laughed at.
She really is an amazing women.
But it's not even clear she's in the trial.Nor is it clear she's cancer free. Almost seem like a personal treatment on the side. Also no mention of Powers or NorthWest. Was leadership even at these fund raising events?
Nah, no worries. Don't you know, friend, everything is wonderful!
Thought you were going to quote Mike Rogo from the Poseidon Adventure.
Simplest answer: The news is not good but stalling on the update lets the boiler room bait retail investors. Money still to be made.
I truly hope I'm wrong but don't think so.
The update must include a clear explanation telling us this phase lll trial outcome means FDA approval, regardless of the screening issues. A phase lll for the sake of more data wth no chance of commercialization this go around, would be tragic...For shareholders that is.
Can anyone explain why this Plll doesn't have a name?
Thanks.
Can someone please relay to Grinders that the thirty cent sp is the mark for the upcoming reverse split. Thanks.
Great point Turtle on Chris' great point. It's best leadership sits on game changing information while poor shareholders who funded operation for so long need to sell holdings for year end loses. Nasdaq needs to be cleared up first before any big announcement by them, regardless of fiduciary duty. I like the way you think. Great post.
And you see no fiduciary duty issues to shareholders with this approach?
That's completely false, of course. If they were seeing excellent results the trial would either be stopped and put on an accelerated path for commercialization or opened up for additional patients. Both would require an immediate press release. Neither one happened.
Nobody is hiding. Follow the money. It'd take a week for Black, Woodward &Co. to figure out.
Peregrine had Carlton Johnson. Lol.
You know where I stand. I suspect those guys were put on the board to sooth investors concerns and not much happening with any investigation. With so much time gone by now the only people benefiting are those taking salaries. Woodford should be outraged on a number of levels but I guess he doesn't want the bad press. Many poor investors have likely bailed and those still around will take the loss this December. Leadership owed it to beaten down common shareholders to do this in a timely manner but they didn't come through.
And I'd bet Black has applied for the Trump administration.
Biotech is sexy. Every billionaire needs to own one. It feels like that's what it's become.
For sure the wealthy elite all have a recoup-short-strategy in the background, and I'd bet it involves poor retailers.
That's easy...It means money is needed to continue research.
So you really believe at this point, a year later, Woodford couldn't do something to help out his fellow shareholders?
It's not in mine either but we all evolve.
Don't doubt yourself as you're correct. Those notions have been planted by folks here only.
Do you know for certain he hasn't shorted in some other account to balance out his losses?
You'd think a billionaire British fund manager could get to the bottom of it right quick.
"Coming weeks" lol. Maybe the Bavi-Dvax combo trial. Lol
I honestly don't believe there any ongoing investigation. Feeling like it's all been buried.
Why sell with so little left, by his standards? Better to keep the stake to make sure your phone call are taken and BOD meetings doable. Probably makes a better case in court too. Just playing devils advocate.
My mistake - left out a word. Should read:
"THAT THIS FORMER ENRON EMPLOYED CEO HAS TAKEN OVER..."
DID HE HAPPEN TO MENTION FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILITY TO SHAREHOLDERS OR THAT THIS FORMER ENRON CEO HAS TAKEN OVER FOUR SEPARATE AND CRITICAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES?
Correct, as usual, Exwannabe.
It'd be super interesting to see the success rate of university owned IP partnered with small companies like NW as compared to the same kind of small companies that own their IP outright??
The markets disagree, based on the share price, leadership's silence, and inability to raise significant capital, institutional investors are saying it is not pivotal and likely will not be supported by the FDA. It seems to have been reduced to a on again-off again study paid for by shareholders to the benefit of academia/hospitals.
Seems like a reckless statement, correct or not. Very surprised to see it.
"It is on the road to FDA approval"
Hey, somebody has to pay for their studies.
Fair enough.
I also take note of "OUR personalized vaccine".
The wording is a classic example of being just nebulous enough to not have the FDA hammer come down while baiting retail shareholders. It's inappropriate, IMO.
"The UCLA Brain Tumor Program continues to shine as a beacon of hope, carrying a record of patients with brain tumors living longer than patients treated at any other hospital. "
"Our personalized brain cancer vaccine, DCVax, is the first of its kind and is currently in Phase III clinical trials in 46 centers throughout America. It is on the road to FDA approval as well as clinical trials throughout Europe. Using this vaccine, we are harnessing the patient’s immune system, genetics, pathology, brain mapping and a wide database of bioinformatics to optimize.."
These bizarre aggressive takes on Phase Five and Feuerstein, even after the complete collapse of share price and dead silence of "A Force of One". You people are far from normal shareholders. Hmm.
Interesting. That'd give someone enough time to find shares to short without drawing attention to themselves since they were acting on already released news. Hmm.
Well said. Retailers hanging on to this right into bankruptcy.
Nice touch, Chris.
That's be my bet. And he wouldn't just walk into a situation like this. With Black's contacts he could figure out the Phase Five identity in a week.
