Lo, according to this document , did we just increase our recourses x 10 ?
I like that little parasitic fish on Great white , but it is actually win-win situation for both species, little fish does something good ( forget what ) for a big one. Same with me ( us ), we put our ” little” money to ride along.
I think you guys underestimate how huge this is, plus silver..,
Again from the Document, read slowly, allow it to sink-in :
…”The opportunity arises because:
The previous owners had a very constrained view of a development concept
They were capital constrained for an extended period of time – the assets have been
essentially dormant for last three years
No modern exploration techniques or processing technologies have been considered
o Investment highlights include:
US$25.7 billion of in-situ metal resource (Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, and Pb)
Quality assets in attractive mining location with potential for regional consolidation
Significant gold resource capable of producing significant gold production near-term with
impressive exploration potential
Largest undeveloped polymetallic massive sulphide in the IBP
Significant exploration potential on all properties
Government support is enthusiastic for new projects
Market valuations suggest IPO value at $120+ million”
… and to add exploration is not over – it will just begin.. with new techniques.
" you can bring horse to the water, but you can't make her drink"
as soon as I said " dead" it goes hot !
From pajamas guy:
When Fifer and boys discovered Iberian Recourses, they originally wanted to go separate from us. Luckily for us legally or other reason they were not allowed to do so, but take a look at original estimate from the Document:
The company proposes a 5 million share offering at
Cdn$0.60 per share for gross proceeds of Cdn$3.0
million to complete the necessary NI 43-101 resource
estimates for a subsequent IPO.
o Propose a Cdn$15M IPO financing at Cdn$3.28 per
share to fund G&A and drilling programs
o Post IPO we expect to have 32 million fully diluted
shares outstanding and an expected share price of
Cdn$3.85 per share .
P.S. Lo, does that help you better evaluate our future share price ?
“I would rather be a biggest fish in a pond then a midsize in an ocean”
That “ fearful staff “ is partially correct when it comes to price of silver and little bit of gold. Gold will hit 1500 and pull back some, but even 1200 is OK with us.
When I decided to diversify myself – I read-up and DD a ton of gold and silver companies, and people are paying $ 0.50 – 0.70 for companies who are still drilling !!! and exploring !!!
We have an operating mine !!! with HUGE reserve now ! It is much better than ODN ever would be .
69, this is not a dot.com time- it is about food, energy and survival. In a way I am glad that some of you so skeptical- it gives me opportunity to buy more shares before world is out.
This is a new game (sorry for repeating myself), old ptq is gone- first it was a pain, then water broke – the baby was born.. Welcome to the new international mining corporation Panama/Spain/Portugal
Enjoy the ride.
Yes agree, taking money out to play somewhere else, but definitely keeping this baby on a radar. It will take off in due time , right before production, but I can make some money in mean time.
PTQ is getting a lot of good attention , plus new acquisition in Spain, hmm interesting possibilities.
Even if ODN results are marginable- we got Spain. It is a huge as mjk noticed, it makes completely new game , I am breaking my piggy-bank, tearing –up my mattress and buying more shares, this is a new ball-game.
As they say:” buy on a rumor – sell on the news “ – does not apply to us because we are still under radar, unknown company to rest of investment community, I believe that outside of Big money, we have been trading this baby between same group of people most of the time. And when word is finally leaks-out – watch-out. I will pay my house off +, and Lo pay-off his student loan ( smile ).
Spain is open pit mine ( if you read my pajamas notes), so average grades are balanced with low cost of mining, kapish ?
I agree, that q- results will be average ,but improving, SP will be slowly climbing from here on - my believe...
Did little reading on China : 1 ½ billion people, more than USA, Europe and Russia combine, only 10 % of the land is pliable, poor recourses- no wonder they are on a shopping spree.
Commodities in a limited supply, everyone is looking, future wars are possible because of lack of resources and we just stole one.
Of cause 40 mil. are huge money for me and everyone on this board, I think. But from investment point of view – it is a STEAL. PTQ boys got lucky because Spain and Portugal is on the sheriff sale, enjoy.
What's so hard to understand?
The Deal was not set-up last week as someone would say: let's wait a few more days'.
That was a Year in a making. Fist we stumble aprox. 6 month ago and thought nothing about it, criticizing that company is using same people to start some kind of offshore operation, then Jal came across a Document about month ago..
Have you ever been on sheriff sale? " excuse me , I’ll get you money tomorrow ", No way !
I know for sure that big companies are looking for concessions to buy and if you snooth- you loose.
Fifer is a geologist - he has an advantage when it comes to shopping.
Imelt does not want gold - they are in a copper.
What is 40 mil?- it is a pocket change !!! You can not even buy a few McDonalds with that .
We got a billion $$$ reserve in Spain, next to Imelt, next to shipping line for 40 mil and you want to wait a few days , so Chinese can snatch this baby.
I would personally buy this land for 40 mil and bank would have no problem with it .. (with the help of few freinds )
Looks like a dead money for a while, I might take it somewhere else , but will keep my eye on it..

Diging deeper:
there is a definite platinum group connection , hmm..
Upside Opportunities
o SRK’s 2002 open pit study explored the possibility of a 1mtpa open pit based on a 20mt
(3.1g/t Au) resource. IRC today sees the potential to be in excess of 1mtpa
o Spanish government grants: contributed Euro53m (~16%) towards Inmet’s Las Cruces in 2002
o Exploration upside from “identified promising anomalies to the north and east of the current
underground workings confirming indications that the ore body is open along strike and at
depth” (SRK – A Conceptual Mining Study... Dec 2002)
o Significant down-dip extensions and strike extensions in both directions have not been drilled
out: 16.65m @7.72g/t gold and 8.8% Lead / Zinc plus 16.5m @ 5.86g/t gold and 2.44%
LP develpment plan:
o Feasibility and EIA completed within 24 months
o Appoint a focused and experienced management team to move to decision to commence
mining as soon as possible.
o Detailed data compilation and reprocessing exercise to develop a small number of drilling
targets to validate the resource model and development concept
o Drilling of dip and strike extensions to add high grade tonnes to the resource
o Detailed metallurgical testing of processing options for multi-product revenue streams
including prospect of co-development with Masa Valverde
Explore potential for capital cost reductions through our Chinese procurement expertise
o Develop new conceptual development study to maximize potential of production
commencing as soon as possible
Combination of multiple ore sources looks to be most promising
High grade underground targets: old remnant blocks, high grade north east extensions
and north west extensions, down dip extensions not drill tested
Open pit targets: shallow pit in Poyatos area plus re-examination of SRK large pit concept
Large Open Pit Viability
o Significant economic potential and operational simplicity exists if a large-scale open pit proves to be viable
o Drilling in certain areas of the ore body has resulted in more upside potential.
o In-fill drilling and metallurgical analysis is required to upgrade the JORC resources to mineable reserves to
determine the optimal development model
Capital Cost Estimate
o Depending on the resource size and the mine design, the scale of the process plant and associated capital
cost is in the range of US$250m to US$300m
Government Approvals for a Larger Scale Operation
IRC is in ongoing high level discussions with the Andalucía Community regulatory bodies who have been
in favor of the development of a large scale mining operation since opening of Inmet’s ‘Las Cruces’ 1.4
mtpa operation.
o Given the historical mining that has occurred at the site and the Spanish government’s pro-mining stance,
IRC considers it a low risk that any regulatory obstruction might exist
IRC to engage KD Engineering, METCON Research and Aker Solutions (previously
Kvaerner E&C) to complete detailed metallurgical analysis to optimize process
o A number of different processing options exist to recover the substantial value of
the contained gold based on what is known today (Roasting, Biox, Pressure
Oxidation and Ultra Fine Grinding). Each of these will be investigated in detail as
the highest priority
o Roast – Cyanidation tests return high gold recoveries of over 80%
o Initial work indicates the proposed process route will involve the production of
separate copper, lead and zinc concentrates by froth flotation, followed by
cycloning of the gold bearing flotation tailings and roasting of the cyclone
underflow product. The roasted underflow products are then acid leached to
recover copper then cyanide leached to recover gold and silver

Looks like aprox. 21000 oz. according to 7k per month as mention.
Abacus and arithmetic, slide-ruler and trigonometry - good old school, thanks mjk for reminding, ha-ha.
Big69, common man, those grades are not spectacular but very much decent , and overall amount is huge plus it will be inexpensive to mine.
Secondly, how do we know that management can take time and wait, I am sure there were more suitors around willing to snatch this baby anytime. This deal wasn't done yesterday , it was announce - but things were shake hands- on month before.
Any way this is a new company, new PTQ will be $7 dollar stock , as mjk predicted.
Wait the second, mjk. What IPO ? Did we just buy the whole Thing ?
Yea !!! read my post , when I woke up - I spilled coffee and almost choke to death, I wanted to kiss that old fart ;0)
Jal, I see it other way. You as a shareholder spend just 40 mil. ( small money ) to at least double capacity of your mine, located in a friendly country, cheap labor , good mining law. We have gold and silver now. Yes in a short term 40 mil. shares will slow us down a bit , but long - we are great shape even with gold at $ 1200. And you have to give Marinelli this one. I think anything around $1 is a gift now. IMO
Mjk, you a son of a gun ( I love you ).. My head is spinning ! It is not a Drip .. Drip.. Drip.. - it is a fric.. River pouring here . I am glad I listen to your " it is all good" and bought some more yesterday. It will take some time to digest all this news... Quick remark :
It cost us aprox. 40 mil shares to buy this puppy, yes Jal shareholders will have to approve it , but it will be done.
Interesting to note - what happen to original idea of going IPO with it ? May be it is easy for Fifer that way - great for us.
Yes , it will take some time to chew thru 40 mil. Shares but pay back is worse it .
Silver cut-off is average, but who is complaining ...
Mjk, you could of "drip" more, - no one knows who mjk is , and what are you doing staying up 3:30 AM anyway?
Valerian root tea might help, but then I will miss your wake-up post which make me almost spill my coffee.
Hugs,
VB ;0)
PS, woodstick, I am sorry you don't see woods behind two trees.
Anski, I don’t worry about interest rate. Our government should increase interest rate to fight the inflation , but according to BB – we don’t have one. Never mind that gas is $ 1 more than just a few month ago and food is 30% higher – let’s play game with COLA , those retirees need to learn how to budget better, hmm.
Anyway , gold might pull back a bit , but where investors are going to put money ? In a sinking and devaluated dollar ? yen ? Euro?
Gold will rebound and go higher, IMO. World is in a disastrous shape ( subliminal message : GOLD ),
Middle East in an uproar= ( GOLD ), Japan is in trouble, that nuclear accident is 10 times worse than Chernobyl= ( GOLD ).
China – is becoming number 1 economical power with a huge population and practically no resources ,- they have been shopping around the globe for oil, mines, potash, etc.. It would not surprise me to see them coming to Latin America- and they do need GOLD...
Today I can paraphrase James Brown: “ feels good “
I managed to get more shares today , yea !... before that finish run-up. Last gifts as mjk noted. That visit shows how much pride this national venture is. I wonder if Fifer was there, sharing a few bruskis, ha-ha.
nice mention here , where is everyone/ :

Lo, don't forget to subtract DB hedge..
Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, has one question for the U.S. Mint: why is there a coin shortage?
He is aiming to get to the bottom of this during a scheduled April 7 hearing of his U.S. House Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy to examine the bullion programs at the U.S. Mint.
“We are going to try and find out what the Mint has done so they can give us a better answer as to why there is a shortage. Why can’t they keep the supply of coins up?” said the congressman in an exclusive interview with Kitco News.
Demand for precious metals in the futures markets and in physical gold bullion coins increases as the dollar weakens, which often leads to coin shortages.
Part of the problem lies in manufacturing the blanks, said Paul. The blank planchets are not made at the Mint, which hasn't had the production capacity for this stage of the minting process since the budget cuts of 1981.
“Looks like we don’t even get (all) blank coins made in the U.S. – there is a contract with a foreign company, which makes no sense at all,” said the congressman.
Today there are three refineries that supply planchets to the Mint: VennerBeck Stern Leach in Rhode Island, Sunshine Minting in Idaho and Goldmark in Perth, Australia.
Paul said that a U.S. company may appear at the scheduled hearing with a solution.
“They can help relieve the shortage by providing these blank planchets for the Mint,” he said, not revealing the company.
“I think there is a huge demand and it is being provided by a bureaucracy, and the bureaucracy isn’t responding very well -- but I can’t believe there is any excuse for this,” he said.
The Mint is planning a major overhaul of the metals composition of coins and how they manufacture them. The Coin Modernization, Oversight and Continuity Act of 2010 gives the Mint greater flexibility in meeting the demand for bullion coins as well as meeting the demand for gold and silver numismatic items.
Give Them a Choice: Paul
Paul is a strong advocate of currency backed by precious metals
Paul wants competition in currencies, and to do so, he said the tax on coins needs to be done away with. “Money shouldn’t be taxed with sales taxes or capital gains taxes, that would be my goal,” he said.
In March, Paul introduced H.R. 1098, the Free Competition in Currency Act of 2011, which would repeal legal tender laws in order to prohibit taxation on gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium bullion. The bill has been referred to the House Committees on Financial Services, Ways and Means, and Judiciary.
A staunch critic of the Federal Reserve, Paul said that instead of arguing his case for the Fed to close down tomorrow, he’s arguing the fact it should not hold a monopoly. “They have a monopoly on a type of money that isn’t even constitutional,” he said.
“We would use no force, nobody has to use gold and silver coins,” said Paul. Rather, he said the Fed does use force. “They are a cartel and they make us use Federal Reserve notes,” he said.
The market provides a competition; however, he said there is always the threat of being taxed or the gold and silver being taken away as in the 1930s.
Paul explained that ideally, we should allow the market to pick the currency. “If you deal with international finance, people can use different currencies. Within the U.S., I believe you literally could, especially in this age of computers, that you could calculate two different currencies without difficulty.”
Return to Gold Standard
A common assumption is that Paul is calling for a return to a gold standard. He clarified, saying he is not so inflexible.
“I wouldn’t be overly rigid and say, ‘you must have a gold standard, you must go back to what we had.’ Our gold standard was imperfect, even though it worked better than the paper standard,” he said.
more in the article....
Mjk, please don’t get frustrated, your contribution to the board and your knowledge of local situation is irreplaceable. And I am sure everyone agree with me. The problem with jal – is not the questions he asks, but HOW he asks them. And I would be upset too if someone calls me “ a smart-ass”.
Mjk is correct , if I would have serious money invested- Panama vacation trip would be on my plan for sure.
Lo, my take :
Dividend paying company are mostly well established, multibillion corporation… investor will not make a big profit , but it is reliable … 10 -20 % in a bull market , but aprox. 10-15 % in a bear, basically you can park your money there for 5- 7 % return for a long haul, ex; GE, P@G, DUK, etc
Mining juniors are extremely risky, only 5% will make it to a full production, you can lose all or most of your investment , but reward is just as big - 2 or 4 baggers, forget dividends – they need all cash they can get to pay off their debt and operation expenses.
So , triple your money on PTQ then park them at DUK for 5% dividend,- my old fashion take.
Oil tanker and a speed boat.
Mjk, I am glad you broke your code of silence ;0)
Now, can you drip… drip-out… I mean spill-out some goods. I know : “All is good, all is bright”, but here we say : buy on a rumor… No I am not selling, just give me some sugar...pl.
OF VB
FWH, yes you are right, XAG will not go into production until mid/end of the next year. They did report a good news today, drilling , etc.
I am placing ACTC on my radar for sure.
STK reported good drilling results also, de-watering might last 8 – 10 weeks and then after few weeks of preparation and paper-work – they can start a production in the Fall. I am very excited about STK and will increase my holding while they still trading around $ 0.10, seems to me it is 4-bagger for sure, JMHO.

We are making a big move, RD... would be nice to get some locals on a board at SH.
Quiet before the storm. I miss old days with "crazy" and other bashers, where did they all go?
Mjk, you mention taking a trip to the mine. You can give them idea about opening a Petaquilla Store.
Some mining companies have those where customers can buy via-internet gold coins and bullions with PTQ logo on it.
They don't have to mint them on site, there are privet mint companies in USA like Northwest Territorial Mint for example who would do it.
There is a sentimental value to hold something in the hand made by your investment, call me old-fashion.

Xtierra Reports a New High Grade Silver Zone at Bilbao
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 1, 2011) - Xtierra Inc. (TSX VENTURE:XAG) ("Xtierra" or the "Company"), is pleased to report the discovery of a new high grade silver zone at its Bilbao project in central Zacatecas, Mexico.
Drill-hole CG-4, undertaken as part of the geotechnicalportion of a feasibility study for the proposed open-pit at Bilbao, encountered economically significant silver values in a newly identifiedbrecciated fault zone. The new target occurs stratigraphically abovethe high grade silver targets subject to investigation by the drillingprogram previously announced (March 2, 2011) and occurs towards thesouth-eastern extremity of the proposed open-pit.
The new silver mineralization occurs in a brecciated, manganiferous limestone at least 5.70metresin thickness (core lengthwhich is considered to be more or less a true width), from a depth of120.00m to 125.70m, with an average grade of 247g/t silver. This samehorizon has also been identified in drill-hole X-85, previously drilledby Xtierra within the main Bilbao resource, on the projected down dipextension to the zone. The table below shows the mineralizationintersected in drill-hole CG4.
From
(m) To
(m) Interval
(m) Silver
g/t Gold
ppb Lead
% Zinc
% Copper
%
120.00 125.70 5.70 247.05 6.49 0.33 0.26 0.01
217.35 220.90 3.55 11.51 6.48 0.50 0.44 0.05
Drill-hole CG4 occurs in a previously untested area of theproject, 100m to the east of drill hole X-85 and 50m south of drill holeX-41, indicating continuity of mineralization in the south-easternsector of the deposit and which is likely to add to the currentlydefined mineral resource.
The new diamond drilling program investigating the high gradesilver zone previously encountered along the western margin of theBilbao deposit extending over a strike length of at least 300 metreswill also investigate this new silver-rich zone which is locatedapproximately 180 metres to the south-southeast. In addition, drillingwill be undertaken on several geophysical targets and on a newsilver-lead geochemical anomaly target at the Ardillas prospect located1.5km to the north-east of Bilbao.
Commenting on the results, Xtierra's President and CEO, Terence McKillen said, "Thediscovery of this new silver-rich zone to the southeast of the proposedBilbao open pit is an important development and one which couldpositively impact the Bilbao resource estimate. Results of the currentdrill program following up on this and the western zone of high gradesilver will be awaited with interest."
Analytical Method
Samples from half-core were prepared at the Stewart Grouplaboratory in Zacatecas and initially analyzed for 38 element contentusing ICP-MS (inductively coupled plasma – mass spectrometry) by theStewart Group (Eco-Tech Laboratory) in Kamloops, British Columbia.Values exceeding the limits of detection are automatically re-analyzedby Fire Assay or Atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) methodsrespectively. Standards and blanks were used regularly for qualitycontrol.

I hear you, going to cut this post out and stick it to my fridge. May be I take my wife on Panama canal cruise next January.
I read your post on SH - that was funny. I'd like to add : thru the years I developed a "sleep test"- if I can sleep well knowing where my money are - then that investment is OK. PTQ is easy sleeper. I can sleep well with this stock, always knowing what is going on - just open Extrella or Prenza, it is a national pride - the only Panama mine, my friend mjk just crow-fly away, and lastly I don't care because 90 % of my investment is in secured 401K bonds, All this gold and silver plays - just a bonus and fun.
I am older guy to take big chances ( not as old as Mjk thou).
Well it's time to take a nap... I sleep good with all my four gold and silver stocks...
R U there ? Where is every 1 ? 24 hours and counting, driping SP...
what gives ?
Hi FWH, thanks for information. It will be interesting to know what they got to say, positive results might finally move SP over .60 I hope .
Investing : FWH, my situation is a bit different, I am older fellow
and ready to retire in 2-4 years, so 95% of my investment and 401K is in very conservative funds and bonds.
The rest of my money I can "play" with. At this point I am holding PTQ, XAG, STK, GPL and trying not to spread myself too thin . ACTC is very interesting , way out my area of interest, but I might take a small position in it, it is very promising therapy I am not sure how long will it take to go thru all FDA approval - you might know more about it.
STK had 10 x volume yesterday - something is cooking there...
Xtierra - lets get this baby going, I can not wait for rest of the media and heard to find out about it.
STK.V volume is 10 times higher then normal, up 30%. Something is cooking..
Can you believe this volume ? 10 times .. Serious accumulation is going on. I feel like someone is trying to hold price down thou.. wounder why ,,,.. anyway - it will be exciting..
Inmet needs a partner, or lotsa cash ... funny thing today: Canada is holding their shares, US is selling, a few days left. Mjk , what else do you hear? drip ... drip ...
"A trickle of water, not stopped, becomes a mighty river".
Mjk, are you done with your sabbatical and let us know what is dripping ?
