It wont, its cheaper and no green house effect. Gold at a three month hi :)
I would think next two years its demand will be steady to even higher than the last peak.
they were talking abot that on CNBC this morning, seems to be a lot of investing coming back into gold again
looks like mixed bags of 90% are going for 9.9 x face value

the dollars will always command a higher price though, probably around $14 a piece. I will look around see what I can find.
what's cool about this kind of investing is, as silver goes up so does the price of the coins. but you always will have a safe bottom with the numismatic value. lets say you buy 1,000 dollars for 12k , sell them later at 16, not a bad profit. but even if the bottom fell out of silver you could still sell them for 10 to 11k . Fun way to invest and learn about American coinage.
this is interesting too. ever hear of the SS Republic ? In the link below you will find at the bottom an 1861 - O seated liberty halve dollar
On January 26, 1861, the State of Louisiana seceded from the Union and almost immediately seized the U.S. Mint in New Orleans. From that moment on the half dollars they minted were no longer recognized by the U.S. government as its coinage, but rather that of a foreign power. Then Louisiana joined the Confederate States of America and the New Orleans Mint became the official mint of the CSA. The half dollars minted in New Orleans by the State of Louisiana and the Confederate States of America represent the only silver coins minted at a U.S. Mint by foreign governments, making them unique among all U.S. coins.

When the SS Republic left New York on October 18, she was carrying passengers and a cargo of $400,000 in coins, mostly in gold $10 and $20 pieces, intended for use as hard currency after the Civil War. The city of New Orleans, captured largely intact by the Union in 1862, had been the southern hub of Federal war efforts and was a thriving, busy city - but due to war, "hard money" (or gold and silver coin) was in very short supply.
On the fifth day of her voyage, a hurricane off the coast of Georgia proved too strong for the ship. By evening, her hull was leaking so badly that the fire in the boiler was extinguished, and she stalled in heavy seas, taking on water faster than her crew and passengers could bail her. At 4 pm on October 25, 1865, she sank.

I'm watching uranium also, get a few more nuke plants going and that will become hot. supposed to be two more built in GA, additions to the Vogtel facility.
numismatic, MS 65 and better morgans :) its hard to get them all so I just would go for the CC mints mostly. All the morgans come and go with silver prices but the select proof likes , MS 66 to 69 have boomed in price from the demand the last 15 years.
how you been man :) yes its still a good one, just had to weather the storm of financial meltdowns in the markets.
lets see so the ratio is about 70 right now, wasn't the so called standard like 35 for years? In 99 I was buying up some CC silver dollars cause they had gotten so low in price... I was hoarding lol... silver was really low then, seems like 6 to 7... so silver needs to be at least 24 to have the ratio looking normal. I think the all time high was 58 thanks to the Hunt bros :) Its possible to break that considering the world economics
that vien of silver they found near Carson City might have equaled a 2y , wonder how much that weighted
I'll take it lol
yes, I've been watching the chart and activity lately.
Good Morning mick
