I don't understand... Is this related to Illegal Pete's Burritos that started in Denver and now has 6 stores?
Then when people say, "yo where your ass been?" and you say "my ass been in Aspen!"
Central Denver 10 mins from downtown. You in Denver/Boulder too?
I got a strategy bro. It's a winner fo' sho'.
LOL! I only bought one share and I'm gonna flip that b!tch at $100T! I'm AWESOME! Then I'll fly all of you peeps to Denver on the private jets I bought for you and show ya how to PARTAY!
Yeah waiting for those teens to show up. You apparently don't remember how I said it was going to hit low 002's? Well, now I believe it's going to the teens. I'm not going to be overpaying in the 20's! Mark it!
My sell order is at $100 Trillion! IDK about you setting it so low at just $1 but whatever floats your boat, matey! Take your profits whenever you can! LOL!
Well then, look at my post on the July 6 that this was going to low 002's and tell me how wrong I was about that. I'll be right about mid-teens soon enough. Have fun in the meantime with this snoozefest over here.
Not jumping in yet. I've got a buy order in for the mid teens since it's only going lower. I'm a "psychic"... not a dumbass. LFMAO
LFMAO!!! Not going to see those low 002's again! I'm now officially psychic!
I rarely say this because its over said a lot of time... But I'm really stoked for the GBGM BOOM-TIME! Now I set my sell orders higher and wait...
What!? Down to the low 002's today? LOL! I should've said "Mark this post" and then I could get some iHub medal or honorary mod spot for predicting the future? Can't wait for the teens and then I'll jump in for sure!
Jim Holmes is a spineless little worm for a CEO and that's why nobody's making any real money here. Didn't he JUST get the Cyrcadia/LLBO to have some kind connection through their website? I bought in January at 0007's and waited patiently for that jamoke to grow a pair of ballz. I've been saying that he needed to make a connection between the two since I sold my shares in April. It's now JULY and he JUST NOW pulled his head outta his arse to get that done?! Laughable and also pathetic. Expect more of the same from him in the future.
Cyrcadia is going to make all the money and LLBO will just have a bunch of bag holders high on hopium.
Exactly. They could have been a$$-hats and R/S'd instead which I was bracing myself for but GBGM is doing the smartest things now
This is amazing! So smart of them. Best thing they could've done, IMO
I believe they are on the right marketing path now.
No problemo. TBEV all the way!
So yes you are correct in your assumptions. Add a few more in the mix and there's your recipe.
There's a whole recipe to it, really. You are right with the marketing aspect being crucial. "KNOW your demographic" is a mantra to be held near and dear, but also to a certain degree "CREATE your demographic".
Red Bull did well in marketing to "upscale" extreme sports enthusiasts like rally cross, BASE jump freaks, professional heli-snowboarders and skiers, speedboat racers, other high-dollar extreme (& unusual) activities etc.. That made it a bit sexier than Gatorade, BUT still it was just another fizzy amped up Gatorade type drink until they benefitted from "sexy" people wanting to mix their uppers and their downers... AKA Red Bull & Vodka. Now Red Bull seems to have its own cabal of extreme sports events and the cool kid crowd to go with it. They hit the demographic target plus created a new one.
Monster did almost the same thing but with more redneck style of sports like monster trucks, motocross, etc.
Rockstar did nearly the same thing although I believe you can't go wrong with naming something like an energy drink "Rockstar". It would be easy to sell to distributors based on that alone even if it tasted like cat piss.
Loyalty and long term success comes from a devoted fan base, a community.
What's weird is that those beverage cultures don't seem to mix. It's like people who prefer the Rolling Stones vs. the Beatles or Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox.
Weirder still, marketing a bad name can kill a product. "Dethrone" sucked. Is it De-throne or Deth-rone? Idiotic combination of words. "Throwdown" just sounds ghetto. "Yo man ya wanna throw down?" Even more idiotic.
Those are not national-sounding products. "High Performance Beverages" is closer to their demographic IMO.
Add in timing factors like first-to-market? or first-in-mind?, and marketspace availability/demand, plus the management abilities of the entrepreneurs themselves, the business connections those entrepreneurs have, the funding sources and contract terms involved.
Another beverage business hurdle... It's nearly impossible to get Angel/VC funding for a beverage business. Angel/VC's like easy ventures without a lot of moving parts, unless it has major "known" profits attached to it. Beverage companies have a lot of moving parts and are very risky lotto plays for them, almost like a .0001 stock for us traders. Not many are willing to fork over money for that. VC's like to invest in companies that relate to things in their wheel-house. There are way more VC's with technology expertise than beverage industry expertise.
Not to forget the packaging- if it just looks weird (ugly label or stupid logo, goofy looking bottle, etc.) but still tastes awesome and it works... People make judgments by the appearance and that beverage won't stand a chance in the marketplace.
Anything I can do to help out. Starting a beverage company isn't easy. There's a lot of unforeseen obstacles along the way. Looks like TBEV has gotten it figured out.
I checked out the UPC code for the High Performance bottle and there is good news and uh, no news. I own a beverage business (among the other awesome things I do;) and I have obtained my own UPC code(s) in the past so I'm speaking based on my experience.
When a UPC code is purchased, a single one can be bought from a "retail UPC vendor" for a low cost like $25-ish. That's great for local distribution when a company first gets started BUT buying it like that can also be detrimental when you want to go regional/national.
The reason is that the number prefix belongs to that particular "retailer/vendor" and not the actual company using it, so on a larger scale of distribution it can cause problems. There is one major Kombucha company I'm "friends" with and early in their operations, they had to pull many thousands of dollars worth of product just to re-label it with their own UPC code from a 100-lot when they got a their Kroger contracts as a nice early surprise distribution windfall.
BUT when it is purchased from GS1 in a 100-code lot even if you only intend to use 1 of them, that for some reason allows the company using it to have their own number prefix. It's about $750 if I recall correctly. So it would be a big waste of money to buy those codes and not use at least one. Don't ask me the rhyme or reason, that's just the way it is.
The good...
A UPC code search online produces no results at this point other than the fact is its registered with GS1. (http://gepir.gs1.org/v32/xx/gtin.aspx?Lang=en-US) (UPC code: 854824004023) Why waste the money on getting a "real" one if they're trying to rip shareholders off with a phony graphic design?
Which means that they aren't using a "test" code for graphic designer's purposes. That would be counterintuitive. Why not just use 123456789101 for their 12 digits just to see what it would look like?
Another thing is that the details of the product won't show up in a search until it's close to being on the market which should be soon IMO.
I know this may not be extremely helpful at this point, but that's one way to check in on the validity of this product. And again, it's AIMO based on past experiences in the beverage market.
Thanks. $PVSP has been on my watch list for a while now. Maybe it's time to jump in?
In business one must have some pleasure as well. They also have classes and speakers for the newbie growers. You can't have brand loyalty and business growth without a community involved.
Also, where there is an MJ community there's bound to be Rastas & hippies.
Definitely the largest in CO. I've been hired to be the grow boss of an outdoor acre for the 2016 season and Grow Big is where I'll be sourcing grow nute's since they can handle an order like that.
Overall, there really couldn't be a better grow supply store to be aligned with.
That's the place. No doubt the website kinda blows goats since they don't list their products, but I can guarantee they've got a warehouse full of grow products and basically aren't f'ing around!
AND they have reggae night once a month? I'm definitely checking that out 8-)
Yeah I hear that but nothing in Denver is like Grow Big. I prefer them over the other stores because they are more... Professional? Not Mom-n-Pop? might be the words I'm looking for.
$PVSP AND GROW BIG?! GROW BIG IS awesome! Definitely like a mini Wal-mart of grow stores! I'm a Denver-based grower and I love that store.
Been going there for at least the past 5-6 years out of the 10 yrs I've been growing. Loads of selection plus it's nice and organized/clean. The staff is a bit pretentious but that's to be expected since MJ growers KNOW they are the SHIZZ!
I don't have shares here but maybe I should get some!
GBGM #3 on Most Read boards! Good thing I picked up a few more milly today!
IDK. MAYBE a certain amount of commons could be cancelled since they are merging into a non-public entity while the BOD will create an entirely new public one? Just a guess but it seems the most logical
New test directories for THE TBEV website? Is there a way we can see that too? Congrats on your first post ever BTW!
Almost 300 million on the ask?! LMFAO. Almost bought in because I think the next news update could be huge but... 300M is a frightening amount to churn through at trip2's
3's & 4's in a staring contest
Hmmm didn't 0027's pop up today? I'm sure there's going to be bidwhacks down to low 002's even if there is news
...when it's in the low 002's
Not too bad. I might jump back in sometime soon-ish
The O/S here is 3.14B
Just an FYI for anyone who might wanna know
And how long has he been clueless about this? Several months at least!? LOL!
Whaaaa? I'm still tryin to figure out what you're saying.
Is the JV with a "major" mining company merely speculation or something that "might actually happen" but under certain conditions from RMRK...?
I don't have PM but I marked you back! $BRWC$
