Cellucor is all about pre-workout C4, meaning all about BS.
thank God Musclepharm market leadership is in whey protein powders, it gives it more credibility as a company.
the next short term price target gotta be $14.5 given that all of the most recent product launches. Each of these product launches should be expected to generate $25 million or more in yearly revenue.
so much for the effort of Isopure and Coco Libre. IMO Musclepharm's packaging is superior to them for a mass market appeal.
glass bottles and Tetra Pak containers work fine in Whole Foods Market and in Europe. Most Americans want a plastic bottle thought...not too fancy, but convenient when youre on the go.
Isopure product looks very weird...it almost looks like dirty water in a bottle.
Wow, Coco is gonna replace Muscle Milk!
Musclepharm has a problem keeping up with demand...and BB.com comes second now in terms of importance of meeting that demand.
Shelves in GNC and Costco CANNOT be empty...neither can shipments going abroad be missed.
The Deluca brothers accept these terms as they take part in Musclepharm's success.

Ive noticed that Muscle Milk and Gatorade have a few powder products at gas stations down here in Miami...I wonder why there aren't more companies that use that sales channel apart from these Pepsico distributed brands?
It will be a whole lot easier for Musclepharm to grow as it is becoming a profit making company.
BB.com role today is more marketing related than anything else...mentioning Musclepharm and promoting new Musclepharm products. BB.com should however be allowed to sell Musclepharm products expensive and let others sell it cheaper in higher volume.
okay, see you in April!
Musclepharm doesn't want to come in such situations...better have BB.com keep the prices higher and protect your pricing power
I believe Musclepharm is getting it's act together. However launching multiple new products and brands while expanding distribution channels as well as introducing new one....and on top of that growing 100%....that ain't as easy a task as you might think.
honestly, I belive that BB.com could have sold for more over the past 12 months...but that Musclepharm told BB.com to keep it's prices high because they feared that they would run out of inventory....You run out of all your inventory dealing with GNC and Costco and you are finished as a company.
Brad was not prepared for 100% growth...explaining why inventories only recently have gotten much higher. Still, Musclepharm only got 30 days supplies....so with 2 co-packers...that is still kind of low.
Dr Frost is not a day trader like you...he does however speculate in micro cap companies from time to time. Occasionally one of these micro caps turns into a mid cap but not every time....that would be impossible.
GNC has committed more shelf space to Musclepharm to take on the Iron and the Fitmiss lines
In retail you need to excite customers to make them buy a lot. That's why retailers always look for new products, lines from existing brands as well as adding new brands.
bodybuilding.com brands are not representative of the market. Jym Supplement Science got multiple products in the top 50...even if it is a joke of a company. Somehow bodybuilding.com prefers upcoming brands as it won't face too much competition.
gnc and costco prefer upcoming brands too....but if they are going to commit shelf space to a brand, they prefers dealing with those that can deliver ....explaining why both Musclepharm and Cellucor are getting more shelf space at GNC outlets.
I guess it tastes good...otherwise Costco wouldn't allow it in it's stores.
who owns the rights to the Bruce Lee name?
my gut feeling tells me that the Iron line is more popular among minorities and in markets abroad.
stop teasing! the Iron Whey 5lbs with discount is priced at $53.97 at BB.com
Musclepharm needs to do whatever is good for Musclepharm and not worry about BB.com's sales numbers.
If Musclepharm can sell for $30 million at Walmart, then why worry about $10 million lost at BB.com...it is still $20 million more and a few more millions in cash flows.
perhaps im off $10...
at the end of the day, everything is cheaper at Walmart....
Walmart will probable end up carrying the Iron line in 2lbs and 5 lbs containers for $20 and $40.
Eventually, Musclepharm should enter China through some Chinese pharmaceutical partnership similar to the one Sunshine Nature got with Fosun....or better, Fosun acquires Musclepharm.
with new credit facility, Musclepharm might feel more comfortable with dealing with Walmart and other big box retailers like Target.
Furthermore, sales to international big box retailers like Auchan (HQ France), Metro cash&carry (HQ Germany), Tesco (HQ Uk) could be in the cards down the road.
LOL..Musclepharm got no problem with SKUs as it is growing 100% y-o-y...
Bellator_Exec type interview question to Brad:
"Arnold is an aging star now, having turned 66 back in July. Are you going after older clientele? Is this an untapped market?"
i wonder what will happen to the price if Musclepharm gets into Walmart?
I understand that Muscle Pharm sold some MMA private label line through Walmart some years ago...but never entered with any branded products.
my insider is telling me that you are short Muscle Pharm..
spot on, Wynnefield is buying Muscle Pharm based on insider information...
drop was just playing around, if you notice...he invested very little into this company.
Ive had the pleasure of meeting Frost at the groundbreaking of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in Miami downtown...he is a very smart guy...and very humble considering he is a billionaire.
blah blah blah...you know that Frost has made money on Opk...it is his own company anyway...so he has no exit.
Also, Frost's largest holding is Teva...last time I checked it was up like 30% y-o-y.
Frost has done a lot better than the market.
Frostie is telling Wynnefield: BUY BUY BUY!
Give Brad Pyatt a chance....this interview 12 months ago shows that Brad plans to get into Walmart and other big box retailers and that Brad is against further dilution of stock price from capital raises. Brad wants to get a standardized banking relationship...exactly what happened today.
http://www.thelifesciencesreport.com/pub/na/muscling-into-the-nutritional-supplements-market-brad-pyatt
Today was a positive day for Musclepharm's shareholders as we can look forward to less dilution.
Wynnefield Capital is going to stop Brad and the board if the dilution gets too heavy...Wynnefield Capital is an activist hedge fund specialized in small caps...
All, we can do as individual shareholders is to point out obvious attempts to screw shareholders.
So far, Wynnefield probably hasn't worried too much....but if Brad tried to dilute excessively in the coming years, I bet Wynnefield will push for 2 board seats with own people....
How many more major endorsement does Musclepharm really need?
None, really.
I could add some minor endorsements within NBA,Tennis and Soccer...with some of them from abroad...but nothing major is necessary.
perhaps salaries are not excessive...Jeremy Deluca should be expected to know everything about logistics and the sport nutrition manufacturers' pricing and sales tactics from his past in bodybuilding.com.
Musclepharm wants to grow much faster than other businesses...so, it needs employees that get it from day one.
Musclepharm is not gonna dilute the stock excessively going forward as it already has rewarded management and endorsers generously prior to the Nasdaq listing. Nasdaq listed companies cannot dilute their stock with 10% or more year over year...
Anyways, there is no need for it as MP becomes profitable....worry about excessive salaries going forward.
the price won't reflect the real value until MP gets listed on Nasdaq.
unfortunately, we have this SEC investigation where no material items were expected to be found by Brad...until he found a paint job in the gym locker room for his former CFO and buddy Gary...Gary is a good guy though, just not so good at counting
if you look at unique visitors to web sites
Optimum Nutrition
MuscleTech
rank highest with around 50,000 unique visitors each per day...so, I guess price matters.
Musclepharm
rank third with around 30,000 unique visitors per day...so, Musclepharm's branding works.
Cellucor
rank fourth with around 20,000 unique visitors per day
EAS
got very little traffic...not worth mentioning
In addition to unique visitors on web sites you got the followers on social media.
I guess the Canadian brand is the weakest link in my 5 top brand line up.
Optimum Nutrition, MuscleTech, MusclePharm, Cellucor and EAS.
I sense these are the brands that will sell the most going forward. What do you think guys, Im wrong?
sounds like just as good an investment as a casino in atlantic city
