You gotta laugh in the face of adversity! Otherwise you do get an ulcer!
I am going to stop predicting news. I called this one 180° out!
Next time I'm just going to sleep through quarterly reports and PR's!
Nah, I know the right was to say it. 21 years will do that to ya.
Even my wife, a NYC girl knows not to throw "ah's" around too much. She laughs at the politicians who come here to fundraise. She says "learn to pronounce it right and you'll get more $!"
Just popped the top off a half gallon of 2% milk.... For my ulcer!
Just kidding, it is whole milk!
This will recover. I AM betting on it!
.10 would be acceptable. That would set me up nicely. But .15 would buy a bunch of shiney things to keep the wife happy!
And I'm a transplant too. I'm originally form New Jersey!
Just pulling your leg a bit MRDALE! You know I'm the joker in the deck.
Hey, take it easy on my home state! Nevada just likes to make things a bit more exciting and entertaining! Think of this as watching a bunch of Vegas Showgirls. Sometimes you just wonder what is holding things up, and when the last bits are going to be pulled off! It sure can be frustrating trying to figure it all out!
It has got be a nice "Hunter Green"! No more reds or "Puce, Vermillion" combinations! We only want positive signals today! (and it is going to have to be quick drying paint at that!)
Fasten your seat belts, this is the start of something big.
We are on "toc" as Scotia would say.
The bad guys know the posse is chasing them and they are in a box canyon. They just ran out of time and real estate!
And Robo, stripper poles are vertical. The horizontal poles are for ballerinas!
(Two questions Robo, what do you think of pastels, and how are you on your toes?)
David only used one round rock, we will use nuggets, and not from Mickey D's!
David only used one round rock, we will use nuggets, and not from Mickey D's!
Actually it started out as the Armada, but there were a lot of smaller support ships in the fleet, so both terms were being used. I'm good with ARMADA!
Nuclear powered, or course!
No problem Sergei, we know what you mean.
I'll add those to your cargo!
Amen to that! Round 'em up, head them out!
Rich is all a state of mind anyway. Now let's talk WEALTH!
If it is more than I can count, that will do for me!
I'm not greedy, I'm just needy!
I'm going to bite my tongue and not comment on price till close of trading day!
(I should have known better!)
Nail those 3's to the wall so it stays around for at least a couple of hours. We can't let them drop it back to 2 again!
Now I understand the true meaning of "terrible twos"!
Hey Mike495, I guess it is my fault that the "Flotilla" and "Armada" became interchangeable. Too long of a story to get into, so I guess it will have to be one of those stories we tell when we have a shareholder's meeting in Silverton!
You are probably right, "Armada " is more fitting right now. I haven't totaled the figures in a few days, but there are near 1.4 billion shares held by the members of this board. I suspect that number is much higher since that figure is from only about 135 members!
There are going to be a lot of rich people when this stock hits it's stride!
And Sergey, my friend, Mike495 is right, your English is improving tremendously!
Good luck everyone, as we await the reports from both companies. Assay results should be out soon, but I think we may have a little time before we see those figures. JMHO!
Too much information too fast would lessen the impact on the PPS.
Get ready for the launch of the grand Armada!
And don't forget to lay in a supply of grog. we will need it to celebrate the good news to come!
You know that is my read of the situation, too, SG!
Either Friday, or Monday. The coming week is a short one and a tool to be used to our advantage.
Chess, not checkers!
See ya all in the AM,
PCFG!
Akula42, Glad to do it.
FWIW, in old days when the treasure galleons prepared for return with their cargo of riches from the new worlds, they dumped the rocks they used as ballast and replaced them with the bars and ingots of silver and gold.
You always have a way to keep the ship in trim.
Good fortune to you and all the CGFIA investors!
Think positive, "fear is the mind killer"!
Golden Grog, I think you earned yourself an extra ration of CGFIA Flotilla Grog!
Well thought through and well explained.
Sorry, the Grog I serve ins't golden (yet), but I think the quality will improve soon, along with the PPS!
Keep up the posts, your input is helpful!
MTP
bbad19, Don't get confused, it is easy with so much info from the projects going on simultaneously at GCFIA's different properties.
Samples (rock chips and soil) from the mines are awaiting assay results.
Core samples from geotechnical drilling at the dry stack location is also at the lab. These results will be used to aid in the design of any necessary landscape or structural accommodation needed for the dry stack of tailings at the proposed location. Mineral content of the cores (for mining purposes) are not part of those tests.
Confused enough?
It is easy to get things mixed up. Terminology is similar, but tests and purpose are quite different.
Hope my 2 cents helps. (After all, that's worth 100 shares at the ask right now!)
I'll get out the fresh paint! Same colors? Or something different? I can use the slow drying type too! Even lead based... But that will cost ya!
Two coats should do it!
Dream of multi-dollars! Don't dream small!
Thanks for holding things up for me Scotia! The paint is getting "tacky" (almost dry), I got my buy in this AM, and at a better price than I offered. Also, it closed up over my purchase price, so I'm all good!
That "puce and vermillion" combo that Phred asked for (in RoBo's honor) must have done the trick!
Ok, my opinion on the delay, FWIW, actually has been stated this morning by another poster. (whoever you were I apologize for not remembering your name, I was too busy screaming "SOMEONE GETS IT!) We will see the production report on Friday after closing, or first thing Monday.
That will throw a shoe into the MM's machine. (The TRUE meaning of sabotage.)
Then the run will begin right before the holiday and hit full stride the following Monday, right after the end of the holiday!
You know I'm not big on predictions, but it makes the most sense in this chess game with the MM's! (and any shorters)
We are standing on the launch pad of of StarGazer's Atlas Rocket, packed, fueled and ready to go... where Hammer??? (I'll let you or ViewMaster say it! It sounds better when it comes from you guys.)
PCFG!
I always am. She is the best part of my life. I would be lost without her.
That is why I want CGFI to do well, so she can stop working and we can have fun together!
Take care, Sergei. I'll be around tomorrow later. My sweetie is taking me to the doctor in the AM.
Have the quarterly report ready for me, will you?
Doing a bit better than I expected. I get my bigger stitches out tomorrow, and exchange the splint for a cast, so getting around will be a little easier and safer. I hope to be on crutches soon, but I must confess that I am having a bit of fun with the wheelchair. It's a good thing there are no speed traps in the house. I would get a ticket for sure.
I'm watching the boards and the price or both stocks. I can't wait to see the quarterly reports on both.
Got that for the books Rebel24. Hope to turns into a million bucks for you!
GLTY!
I have decided to give up my gold investing, sell my stock in PCFG, and start drinking beer very heavily.
If Robo can get riverfront property by collecting cans, I should be able to drink my way through enough beer cans to get some beachfront property here in Nevada!
And I'll enjoy myself while doing so!
That's my plan and I'm sticking to it!
I'll get out the roller. Puce? Vermillion I can handle, but puce? Oh well, the customer is always right!
Hey Robo, got any extra Puce? And do we need environmental gear to roll it on?
Dang, that was for Phred! Can't get these buttons right today.
Phred,
If the VA turns you away, stop by and I'll hook you up with a few extra "happy pills". They may be a bit out of date, but I have a wide variety. I'll throw them in with the order of any new "Cautiously Optimistic, Wet Paint" design pants!
(see HinkyDink, We do have a good name brand going here.)
Oh, by the way the special color of the day tomorrow is "Chartreuse"! That's a fancy name fer green, with a bit 'o yeller added! I thought it fittin for the general attitude of them buyers lately.
Remember, I need you to hold the price till my cash at Scottrade clears. (hate those bank transfers!)
I should be able to buy this PM, after the market closes. So hold the line, or drop it a bit by days end. (I'll make it worth your wile. I may be able to get about 10 extra shares out of the deal!)
Damn, I got big feet! Took out a whole bridge! Need to watch where I step!
And that is with only one foot! The other is in a cast and I have to keep it dry! (been going from putting it up too many butts lately, to sticking it in my mouth....Yuck! Now there is a mental picture that will ruin your breakfast / lunch, depending on time zone.)
Bob, Just a little clarification. (you know I never dispute your DD, but your last post may confuse some people)
Negotiations will determine a "date certain" for the ownership, stock price etc. to be used as a date of record. (Sometime before the merger date) That means the price on that day for both stocks, will be used to determine the exchange ratio to complete the deal. The merger will still happen in February, baring any extensions, and that will be the end of the transaction.
Clear as mud now? Yeah, I was worried about that. Sorry to muddy up the old fishing hole!
Good luck.
This will be a fun ride!
MTP
Scotia, Can ya make it toc for my sake? My cash doesn't clear till Monday afternoon. I can get the buy in first thing Tuesday. Then "release the hounds!"
This is gonna be a fun week! I am ordering the truckload of tequila already, and a box of burritos!
(that's a well balanced meal!)
Thanks,
MT
I don't think you would be able to get 150 people to agree to anything at any given time. What is needed is some outside influence to push the stock up. Assay, mill, production numbers, or a buyout, etc.
But you are looking at the extreme end of the scale. 15000 investors don't all have to agree. We know in any given block of shareholders, some are long, some are flippers. If we were relying only on the sale or purchase of stocks, then your point would be 100% valid. But the o/s and A/S after the merger will be almost maxed out, so there won't be much of the float to buy or sell. Thus an outside influence (change in the situation for the new entity) will be required to make the stock more valuable.
Actually any short sellers will be stuck if most of the float is tied up.
JMHO
I was just using it as the first example. I don't know what it will take to get it to move.
Very astute of you TP!
That is calculating it at Friday' rate for both stocks. The actual ratio won't be known until a date certain is posted. That will be the date the value of both company's stock price is used for the calculation of the stock transfer.
If the price of CGFIA goes up, and the price of AMNP goes down, then the ratio will change and vise-versa, along with all the other combinations of possibilities (7 different scenarios).
A lot COULD happen before an "unknown" date. Calculating it now is just a WAG, with a lot of speculation mixed in.
Jeans, or any other fabric you have, custom decorated, any color or paint pattern you want. We all get to watch the paint dry on them, too!
I'm working on a plaid cast for my foot. Last time I went through one of these long term foot things, I had a candy striped cast for Christmas!
I'm waiting on production numbers, so it is a good thing I have a nice supply of drugs to help pass the time of waiting!
Good Fortune to us all!
I decided to bail out on that play. Lost 75% of my buy in, over 12 months, waiting for the fabled merger. Hope it pays off for you. I just couldn't keep waiting for the indicators that never developed. It is a shame. Good "flight-plan", but no execution of the "sortie".
I'm not bitter. You win some and you lose some. It just stalled on the runway, for me.
GLTY.
Overandout,
Thank you for your compliment.
I may be welcoming and open, however I am not a mind reader!
Asking me about Burkhard's comment is unreasonable. Now if you are asking my about MY comment regarding that post, as I explained in my last post, my comment about Burk's post was in support of his decision not to walk into a "bait and trap" situation. The piece of the puzzle you don't see is the constant attempts to "trap" and personally attack the moderators on CGFIA's iHUB board.
Regarding the CGFIA merger with AMNP, I also explained that I know nothing more than what HAS BEEN stated on this board.
The merger is, in my opinion, a method to up list. Until the 4Q for AMNP comes out, it is all just a matter of opinion. No one is trying to veil any information in secrecy.
You have your opinion, I have mine, and Burk has his.
You assumed wrongly, that I was trying to hide information from the board. That was and still is incorrect.
You continue to state your opinion, but you start off your post with a question to me. "Really MT?"
My attempt at an explanation and an answer to your question was brushed aside and you continued to assume I had attempted to hide information from the CGFIA board.
You continued your post with:
But if there is support for a public company to be uplisted through the acquisition of another public company it hardly seems like something that one should be shrouded in mystery when it comes to disclosing it to the board. So much else gets shared in the way of DD but for some strange reason the regulatory support for an uplisting through the acquisition of AMNP is something that will be shared with only the "believers" and not the "doubters"!

Lately any statement made by a moderator is immediately attacked as it being "kool-ade" ...... from a group who seem not to have any interest in CGFIA, but only disrupt discussions and sow seeds of discontent.
You are missing my point and jumping to conclusions.
Lately any statement made by a moderator is immediately attacked as it being "kool-ade" or attempts to convince readers to buy, sell, or hold. These attacks have become personal in nature and most definitely vindictive. They are coming from a group who seem not to have any interest in CGFIA, but only disrupt discussions and sow seeds of discontent.
Hi Robo! I just found where you moved your dumpster to!
I told you that we would be able to follow you by the trail of "dumpster juice".
I hear you are setting up your own kingdom here. Looks like a nice corner of the parking lot!
Are the can collecting prospects better around here? Hope they are. You know there are some interesting investment opportunities upcoming!
Still scheduling the cockroach races?
Good luck with the new board! I gave you and the board a mark!

I know nothing different than most other readers on this board. I am making no attempt to shroud anything in mystery. My statement of support is just that, support for not giving the detractors any opportunity to attack Burk.
I find it most interesting that you chose to address your comment to me, not Burkhard.
He states his intent clearly in his post:
There is supporting information but I prefer not to share it on this media platform and surely not with the constant recalcitrants who hover and bait.
