Fair question, Lucky. Given past estimates that border on outrageous by some posters, its clear that we don't want to set up unrealistic expectations. Please, no one on this board should make trading decisions on anything I say.
Normally I don't hold to pps projections as much as I do the underlying fundamentals b/c we don't know how the market will interpret things. I was responding with what I perceive to be more viable predictions since some info in the ibox is clearly outdated/unrealistic.
GLTY LuckyDog!
I should have added that those are based on the assumption of new financing available within 1-3 months to start/continue projects. Is that viable? With Toby, I think so. Let's just wait and see...
Haha, guessing game indeed! Accurate projections are probably worthless at this point anyway. But I'm trying to maintain a balance between realistic and my optimistic nature.
Wishing you the best Rook, especially with that pile of shares you're siting on :)
Projections have been largely based on the company's plan to have 300MW of power generating projects by the end of 2011 and an aggregate of 3GW over the next 3 years.
The acquisition of Seawind Energy & Seawind Services provides access to current revenue generating wind projects and of course future projects and connections, including the possible acquisition of Seawind International.
However, much has changed recently. The $50 mil project financing is gone (for now, but more will come soon IMO), and the company can certainly not reach the goals stated above just from Seawind's business. We still haven't heard about the Albanian hydro projects, and any of the solar projects. It seems the current environment in Europe, especially in Italy, is not helping matters.
So, I believe the projections do need to be modified. Based on the DD and recent developments, my own personal opinion would put short term (1-2 months) around $.80-$1, mid-term (3-9 months) around $1-$3, and long-term (1-3+ years) around $5-15.
Great find! Page 5 of this financial report (3/31/10) for Religare confirms it.

Haha that's an awesome reply! Nice, Gomez!
I agree Kristall, lookin good and cheap. I'm ready for things to start playing out. Communication from Durrant, even in the form of an email, is encouraging. PSPW!
Ahhh post 40K! Wish I had that many shares, but I'm still a small fish :)
I'm on my way to a day of meetings so I'll change it tonight..
or another mod can do it if they want. Thanks man!
Hope everyone has a great day here!
Oops, got that wrong, sorry! The second 8-k didn't come up...Thanks for the correction chad, not sure what I was reading
8-K: Durrant is back at CEO/CFO + CIO
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=8102996
NT-10Q: Late Filings
For Period Ended: June 30, 2011
Forms that are late: 10-K, 11-K, 10-Q, N-SAR
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=8102998
T. Durrant is back at CEO/CFO! This should make some more people happy, but I wonder what happened...Guess we'll have to wait for the "late" reports.
I feel fine, could be about time to head back up towards the .70/.80 level. I wouldn't make a bet on a news update or 2Q for this week though. But I guess we'll just have to see :)
I would guess, however, that the current Italian financial climate has an impact on the company. It doesn't matter what management, experience or leadership a company has if uncontrollable national and global factors are in play. I'm still confident in 3Pow of course, but as the cliche goes, "expect the unexpected."
I agree, its third party. Unless you are reading numbers directly from an SEC filing, or a statement with authorization of an auditor, the financial numbers are circumstantial IMO.
FYI you can still find all the executives' pages that were on the site previously by Googling "site:3powerenergy.com" and they all show up. Hidden, but there.
Ask questions without a personal attack, please.
To me, this part says there should still be revs we haven't seen yet from the 3 contracts/projects in China as they finish and close them out. Hard to know what to expect, but a least something, IMO.
"Current customers of Seawind Services are:
Guangzhou Seawind – GZ Wind Energy Solutions Co. Ltd.
Guangzhou Guangzhong Enterprise Group Corporation
China Tianyun New Energy Technology Co. Ltd
Following the merger with 3Power Energy Group and as stated above, Seawind Services will complete its existing external contract commitments and move to become the internal provider of EPC/engineering/project management/operations and maintenance services to 3Power Energy Group. No further external contracting engagements with third parties will be sought in the general market by Seawind Services."
In early July, we had the official change from Seawind Services to 3Power Project Services. I would dare to bet the "external commitments" have been satisfied...
I think
I'm going to sell 1000 shares below the bid every time I read a complaint about something. Maybe in a few weeks I'll be...short about 60K! :) I say this in good nature...but seriously.
Pec,
While it seems like Gem has not followed through and may have exaggerated claims, no proof of that has been provided. I think you should watch yourself and stop the personal attacks. They do nothing positive for the board, even if he is lying.
Ahh, bummer. Well I'm driving for the next couple hours and won't be able to pull it up on my crappy blackberry anyway haha
You could try hosting it anonymously through google docs
Let's keep things on PSPW here guys, regardless of how you feel about other issues, important as they may be ;)
Thanks, that's good thinking!
Yeah, SunPower's symbol is spwr*, they just added the wrong symbol to the article.
Yeah I bet we'll see more stuff like this with people trying to create some awareness until something official comes out haha.
I saw this 2 days ago as well. Virmmac is a promoter and not a very good one, in my opinion (compared to others I've seen). Companies obviously pay to use their services, but unfortunately, it seems that no actual verification is needed to add a company to the website/forum. I'm guessing that someone unofficial just added PSPW.
3Power is clearly not going to use a penny promoter with a relatively small audience for their IR/PR; that's just asinine IMO.
Based on connections, I think Energia Andina S.A. is PAL (from the Chile agreement), as "power" can be translated as "energia." Seawind is involved in geothermal as well, so it fits. This relationship is the example I used in the sticky above. The connections to Seawind's past customers are there, and 40% owner Origin Energy is an Australian company, btw.
But its possible that Power Andina Limited could instead be "Electroandina SA" who is a big Chilean electricity provider/distributor. It depends on the translation I guess, since (here in the U.S, at least) its common to interchange the terms electricity and power. I can't find any direct connections to Seawind, however, for Electroandina.

Something happening with PPWE soon? Or just a bottom play with low float?
Yeah man, you too. An update would be nice, that's for sure. Sometimes quiet is nice, other times it drives me crazy haha
Thanks! Nice to know what you do as well. A grad a few years ahead of me started the company when we were still in college. So you know, small business has its perks ;)
No its cool :) I'm a VP of sales for an organization out of Columbus, OH that does BPO work.
Yeah PNS should be a nice daytrade with a couple of flips possible yet today I bet.
I'm running a freakin sales call on PNS today for my company! Too bad I didn't buy a few shares earlier this morning, might help my chances for a contract haha
Because I pushed the "refresh" button...the updated date just means the last time it pulled from the server to check for new documents, NOT that the company made a change
Yes, I've emailed both Toby and Riccardo in the last month but haven't heard anything back. They were not, however, "I'm scared that the share price has dropped" emails asking for an update to make me feel better about my investment. I know what I hold, bar unforeseen circumstances.
I asked Toby to publicly clarify the Capital Trust/formerly Rudana relationship because of how important I feel that is for increased investor confidence. Separately, I introduced myself to Riccardo and asked for an update on investor relations that Toby previously referenced to me. No response thus far, so the "quiet period" (as it has been put) seems to be continuing IMO.
Do I know what's going to happen? No. Am I confident in this company and their proposed game plan? Yes, even if things don't go exactly as desired.
Oct 1 :) It would be nice to find a little wedding surprise from PSPW in my account when I get back from my honeymoon haha
Getting Closer
Just today, "According to the Albanian economy ministry, the Balkan country will award concessions for the construction of hydropower plants with a combined capacity of 300MW..." http://www.balkans.com/open-news.php?uniquenumber=112626
Watch closely at the end of July here. I've read elsewhere that several concessions should be granted between the 26th and 29th. Might be some of ours, might not be.
I like your critical thinking, Seven. Likely scenarios, IMO. And sorry, no PM :) As a mod that kinda sucks, but I make do haha.
3Powah!
Seven, personally I'm not going to draw any conclusions from the "business week" company snapshot and the Seawind International connection. Initially, the plan WAS for Seawind International to be acquired, not just the subs (according to the PRs and the filings), so it might just be that it never got changed when the company's plans changed.
Unless there's confirmation elsewhere, I just see it as circumstantial. But we definitely know it could happen in the future.
Not, please shape up your posting and keep it on topic.
When I spoke to Toby Durrant on the phone a few months ago, we had just had a similar time of no official updates on the status of the merger (we didn't have the S8-K, merger PR, or Chile/Ecuador projects PR). Toby told me that the company is not going to release a PR or announce little items of company operation just for the heck of it - he knows that gets traders/investors hyped on every word and 3Power clearly wants to keep the company away from that. Toby may not be the CEO anymore, but I highly doubt R. Valentini feels any differently about releasing only "meat & potatoes" news of pertinent developments. All in my opinion of course, but I spent a couple bucks for a 6 minute overseas call to actually speak with him, and it made a big difference for me. And that was all premerger and pre run-up to the 2s!
