diamondguru-one, what you think of the settlement? Does it meet your approval? What about the 2X value plus?
Could commons get at least a $2 return on this deal? And will that take a while? Could this be worth a lot more than $2 "down the road"? At least we didn't get cancelled.
LG, please let us know if you get a clarification from your friend.
Unlikely anything for shareholders per Reuters? "Washington Mutual's bankruptcy plan is unlikely to provide anything for the company's shareholders." This quote from today's Reuters' article. If that's the case, what can shareholders expect EC/SG to do about it?
What time does the hearing start tomorrow?
WithCatz, what's your "gut feeling" as to what's likely to come out of the hearing Tuesday?
ilenes, do you recall this? Didn't Susman say something like "it's over" to a shareholder or somebody? If in reference to what he presented to Walrath at that chamber meeting, any speculation as to what he was referring to?
Didn't Susman also say something like "it's over" to a shareholder or somebody? If in reference to what he presented to Walrath at that chamber meeting, any speculation as to what he was referring to?
So how does this Wall Street " protest/upheaval" affect our case?
So how much is our company really worth? Where's the the assets list? If no settlement by the 22nd, it's "high time" that Walrath and Susman DEMAND it.
A VERY good point.
I hope Susman and Folse are intent on doing something about this,
"Yes, we are in mediation but until the FDIC and Chase are included, the potential for huge numbers like this do not exist. Even if they are included, they are not looking to give up an additional $17 billion so the commons have $10 per share. They won't even give up the $4 billion of our own money.
It's sad where we are but, it's where we are."
Does NEWCO with NOLS have at least $2/share potential value of return to shareholders?
This filing should get WAMUQ heading back toward the .08s, minimum.
Folse has been "outstanding"! Maybe a Folse/Susman "doubleteam" is coming. Wouldn't that be "sweet" in DC? Maybe shareholders will finally get what they deserve.
My choice for mediator would be diamondguru-one.
fsshon, like I posted, "OK SUSMAN, it's time to "take the gloves off". Obviously, with the HFs. But also with Rosen and WMI, FDIC and JPM. It's time to "RUMBLE"! I'm talking demanding the assets issue being addressed in DC."
OK SUSMAN, it's time to "take the gloves off". Obviously, with the HFs. But also with Rosen and WMI, FDIC and JPM. It's time to "RUMBLE"! I'm talking demanding the assets issue being addressed in DC.
The "Examiner fiasco" just may have given Susman even more incentive to deliver for EC/shareholders.
WithCatz, are you saying that all of the assets are truly accounted for in the GSA?
Hope Susman is going after FDIC and JP Morgan. That's the only way deprived shareholders are going to get what should be coming to them.
So is Rosen going to get to get to keep all of the "loot" he got off this case? Personally, I'd like for much of that to come back to me and other deprived shareholders if it is determined to be "ill-gained".
WAMUQ's potential from here as a speculative play. I can't imagine a speculative stock with more potential than WAMUQ, right now. IMO. If somebody can name one, let's see it.
With this news, WAMUQ should be in .teens this week. The current share price seems undervalued, to me.
What are the realistic chances of "RICO and TORT claims", eventually, in this case?
Parker Folse's closing argument convinced me that equity is going to get something (around $4 to $5/share minimum for now is my guesstimate}. Probably more. JMHO
WC, please don't try to "one up" me. I'm just an ole' country boy going with my instincts. By the way, it's pretty obvious as to the "relevancy." At least, to me it is.
How does Susman's status compare to Dimon's in the "big judicial influence" picture? That may be what it comes down to. I'm hoping it's at least a "stand off".
If that results in at least $10/share for me, 30% for SG would be well worth it. By the way, I feel the potential is MUCH more than $10/share.
I agree, Folse's closing argument was outstanding. Not sure if Susman, himself, could have done any better. Susman was probably very proud.
"Illegal Seizure Fraudulent Conveyance", I hope that is where this case is heading. If so, there are some "big bucks" at stake for shareholders. Come on SG, make it happen. I hope Susman and company get a 10% contingency fee for that prize.
The fact that Walrath has allowed this case to drag on so long indicates to me that she will not completely cancel out equity.
There are many "fox surrounding and watching the chicken coop". Walrath, JPM, FDIC, Rosen, etc. are probably seeing/feeling that. Will it be enough to insure justice for deprived equity?
"susman is on the take". That didn't come from me. I'm thankful we have him "in our corner".
I may be one of the most logical posters on this board. By the way, I have a "fairly huge" position that Parker, Nate, Mason, etc. has made me feel good about, recently. I'd still like to see Susman, himself, actually show up in court to help his desperate clients out when they really need it.
How "hungry" is Susman to leave his mark on history. God, I hope he's not a part of "the 'apparent' gang",(JPM, FDIC, Rosen, etc.}We'll see. Obviously, I'm extreemly skeptical of what's going on in Waltrath's court. One way or the other, I really feel WAMUQ shareholders will get something out of this "ordeal".
Whoa!, I'm saying .03, "short term" with all the BS. This has amazing long term potential with SG representing shareholders. I am IMPRESSED (could Susman, himself, have done any better than Parker?}. Looks like Susman has this under control, folks. I'd really like to see Susman and Parker "team up" in DC. What a dynamic duo that would be. Whathcha' think Rosen?
WAMUQ is, at least, .03 undervalued right now, short term. Liked what I heard at the hearing yesterday. JMHO
Wasn't it Rosen's responsibility to provide the court with an accurate list of the estate's assets? What if it is discovered and proven that he misrepresented those assets to the court?
What is the clawback potential to the estate? What's the criteria needed for clawback? Would fraud need to be proven to get clawback? Like hiding estate assets or giving them away?
