Wyo, everytime FASC releases some news, AP et al, it's like the Second Coming has been announced. Just trying to shake a teaspoon of reality on things! LOL! What happened to the pps, a good OTC run usually last 3 days.
Check this out, back door off the OTC? This is ZAPZ, a real piece of crap, IMO, but has anyone heard of this being done?
Now listed as ZAPZ instead of ZAPZ.OB at Yahoo.
"We are excited to have achieved the milestone of this approval to list on the ArcaEx exchange," said Steve Schneider, CEO of ZAP. "Listing on a national exchange has long been a goal of ZAP. It is an important part of our strategy to enhance our appeal to the broadest possible pool of investors, and to enhance shareholder value."

Gd2Aussie3, that could potentially double the OS. How do you think the market will react?
Wyo and tech, the burner process usually is set up for a particular feed of fuel to the boiler. If the KDS was not in place at the start, did they shovel the palm waste in the open boiler door? Yhat's what makes it confusing to me.
Waitedg, my guess is FASC flat or down tomorrow unless they plan a PR bliz to dump the remaing authorized. Insiders already have filed to sell. Let's talk tomorrow!!! LOL!
techisbest, the PR is confusing, how could the plant run if a KDS wasn't in operation? Are you saying it was an old KDS now replaced by a new KDS? If so, why no mention of the old KDS operation in the plant in December? May be great news to you, but I look for the reported earnings per share, not pie in the sky like put out by AGES when it started up. I am very cautious when OTC's start reporting off-shore biz, show me the money! LOL!
PA, another consevative hold. 7.6% dividend, first quarter for that dividend just announced:

Since the plant started up in December 2004, the revenue to FASC has already been reported, right? Don't recall that being discussed here or in the filings.
tenzzi, the reality is there have had many "deals" in the past and on going, but the pps is still in toiletville. Also very hard to check on overseas operations for North America investors. Why haven't those involved in this operation been buying up FASC stock big time? And why six months to report this? But, I hope you are right in the long term.
Doubloon, plus they are probably busy as Hell. I'm sure they are trying to get things together for the long term and probably don't even watch the day to day pps. The big risk we are taking here is if they can get it all done. Any word on what IR is up to or are they in wait-mode too?
Too many shares OS! 4 cents is the max! Need a follow-up PR on $$$$$$ to FASC! Six months is too long to wait to PR results! If no PR, headed back down to 3 cents, IMO.
LU TA was "Bearish Engulfing" on the 15th, boy did that miss:
http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=LU&num1=569&cobrand=&mode=stock
Any thoughts on LU???? Was gonna buy under $3, but didn't. May be a long termer hold:
starboy, I think the insider shares are restricted, so they are in the boat with us. Let's hope they get all the deals done.
STG starting to move again. Bought it at about 85 cents and sold it at $1.30 on the last spike.
Brought on line in December 2004 and PR'ed 6 months later? I smell a big stinky fish! LOL!
"The 14 megawatt TSH Biomass power plant in Kunak, Sabah, Malaysia, brought online in December 2004, operates continuously, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year generating electrical energy and steam for its palm oil operations with the KDS at its core. Please see pictures on our website www.fasc.net"
Setonian, I think you hit the nail on the head! Now the storm is starting! I feel really good too about this stock!

One newsletter comment on oil/markets:
"On Thursday oil prices moved up and closed solidly over $56 per barrel. $60 is now in plain sight, and oil could get there quickly. I'd be really surprised if equity markets could keep on grinding higher while oil is spiking to $60 -- or even $63 -- but stranger things have happened. Even with the recent synchrony, I think it's much more likely that stocks will come under pressure and pull back as oil surges towards $60.
If it sets up this way -- that is, oil pushing higher while stocks come down -- then that would be a very juicy set-up to get into long positions. In fact, it's so good I doubt the trading gods will give it to us, but you never know. Just think: when oil starts crashing down from that $60 - $63 zone, you can bet that stocks will absolutely take off to the upside. If they've been able to grind higher while oil prices were rocketing up, then you can imagine what stocks will do when oil is tumbling down.
If this scenario unfolds, I'm going to recommend getting very aggressive on long positions -- perhaps even leveraging up a little bit with options. In fact, if you've never done an options position -- and this exact set-up unfolds -- I'll recommend and update an options position here in the Morning Briefing"
35 cents a share warrants which they could sell for a buck for $650,000? So they give them cheap shares to get money to buy clay? What kind of back door sale is that? Smells fishy, IMO. Or is it a deal to give NanoDynamics a chance to load up on a million shares if a major contract go through? I doubt they would buy restricted shares without some firm knowledge of a good contract.

Copper also up, due to increased China demand? Copper ore also mined with gold and usually is used to reduce the mining cost/ounce of gold accounting-wise helping the bottom line.

Gold getting exciting, but also scary to me on what's driving it not having followed it in any in-dept detail or DD on how it relates to world economies, any comments?
Global Matrechs Inc (GMTH.OB), 4 cent stock, worth a look?
"On April 12, 2005, we entered into an agreement with Dow Corning to develop a process for production of NuCap(TM) on a commercial scale. Our agreement with Dow Corning contemplates the possibility of entering into a future, commercial-scale manufacturing and distribution agreement, under which Dow Corning may manage the ongoing commercial production of NuCap(TM) after the scale-up production process is complete. While we can give no assurance that any such agreement for commercial production will be executed with Dow Corning, we believe that our discussions have been productive and hope to have an agreement in place upon the successful completion of scale-up batch processing under our current arrangement."

TRCPA, I think they may have built up a kitty up to the last dilution so don't need the funds right now. And yes, there's a chance the Transfer Agent has been instructed to reveal only the OS as of the last filing (I don't think they are legally bound to tell callers that). We'll just have to wait for the next filing to see.

Cypher® Sirolimus-Eluting Coronary Stent Receives FDA Approval for MRI Scans
24 Apr 2005
Immediately Following Implantation Cypher® Stent Patients Benefit From Immediate Access to Important MRI Tests, Diagnostics -
Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a condition of use for the Cypher® Sirolimus-eluting Coronary Stent, allowing patients receiving the stent to immediately undergo Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) following implantation. Approval was granted after laboratory studies demonstrated the Cypher® Stent is MRI-safe.
"With the FDA approval, cardiologists and their patients receiving a Cypher® Stent can now benefit from important MRI tests and diagnostics immediately following the procedure, further enhancing the overall level and quality of health care for stent patients," said Dennis Donohoe, M.D., worldwide vice president of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs for Cordis Corporation.
MRI is an important tool for imaging and diagnosing a variety of medical conditions. Due to the use of intense magnetic fields during MRI testing, laboratory studies needed to show that implanted medical devices that contain stainless steel metal, such as stents, are safe and not subject to potential migration and heating. The laboratory studies on the Cypher® Stent provided the evidence needed for this condition of use. Patients no longer have to wait two months after a procedure with the Cypher® Stent before undergoing an MRI test.
About the Cypher® Stent
Developed and manufactured by Cordis Corporation, the Cypher® Stent is currently available in more than 80 countries and has been used by doctors to treat more than one million patients worldwide. With more than 40 clinical trials conducted or in progress worldwide, the Cypher® Stent remains the most studied drug-eluting stent today with the largest body of clinical evidence demonstrating the long-term safety and efficacy of its drug and polymer. In clinical trials, the Cypher® Stent has been shown to reduce reblockage in the arteries by more than 90 percent over a conventional bare metal stent. More information about the Cypher® Stent can be found at http://www.Cypherusa.com.

Waitedg, as much as they would like to keep the dilution down, the rent, etc., etc., still comes due at the end of the month. All the trips overseas are not cheap and payroll still has to be met. It's hard for me to believe that any revenue is covering the bills 100%.
My personal favorite is SJT, up 144% from August 2003. The Canadian trusts have some withholding taxes for non-Canadians which results in more filing at USA tax time. The Canadian trusts do pay higher yields, but also subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Haven't done a item by item effect, though. A recent article at Yahoo did say the Canadian trusts are better managed overall than the USA trusts.
Setonian, absolutely! I think that would be very refreshing and who knows, FASC may drop an AMAZING PR to boot!
ZOLT may be following oil prices and has been a Motley Fool rec.
ZOLT may be worth a look for those interested an an indirect alternative energy play. They supply the carbon fiber that is used to make windmill blades for wind generators, plus other markets. Nice insider ownership, but need to improve their fundamentals. Dropped off their high, but had a nice pop yesterday. Up 12% on no news! Very reasonable OS and float.

Oil way up, gold up, Trade Deficit up, markets up! This is SCARY! Market TA'ers say we need the Nasdaq to get through 2100 for a bullish confirmation, 10 points to go and hold. Maybe a summer bull market, haven't seen one of those in a while!
On the job front, my son-in-law, an IT guy, has been looking for work since last September, FINALLY this past week had three interviews with job offers. The one he accepted is with a NYSE company (ROL, check out their fundamentals! SUPER!) and they wanted him to go to work the same day as the interview! Just a one person survey! LOL!
Oil way up, let's hope these guys get their chit together while the oil momentum is up! We still seem to have confident holders based on the float and daily volume, IMO. I'm down a good bit, but that won't last if they start releasing some good progress reports. Hig Risk is nerve racking!

"The handcuffs are tight because they're new. They'll stretch out after you wear them awhile."
"If you run, you'll only go to jail tired."
"So, you don't know how fast you were going. I guess that means I can write anything I want on the ticket, huh?"
"Yes sir, you can talk to the shift supervisor, but I don't think it will help. Oh, did I mention that I am the shift supervisor?"
"Warning! You want a warning? O.K., I'm warning you not to do that again or I'll give you another ticket."
"The answer to this last question will determine whether you are drunk or not. Was Mickey Mouse a cat or dog?"
"Yeah, we have a quota. Two more tickets and my wife gets a toaster oven."
"Life's tough, it's tougher if you're stupid."
"No sir, we don't have quotas anymore. We used to have quotas, but now we're allowed to write as many tickets as we want."
"Just how big were those two beers?
"In God we trust, all others are suspects."
"Yes Ma'am, you're right. We don't give tickets to pretty girls. Here's yours"
palacian, I have NEVER asked for any posts to be deleted! The only reason I even made a comment to B9 is he made his diatribe as a reply to my post! I don't have a problem with name calling, it's probably very theraputic for the caller! Better to release anger on a message board rather than wait until the spouse gets home! LOL!
b9molecule, you go girl! Did you call me an azzwipe or something?
Doubloon, ATEA is a small company and doesn't get much attention. The spread is usually big, but they do get some higher volume days on news (which is scarce). Actually had a big drop on last earnings, but climbed out of the hole over a couple of weeks. I'm not holding a huge amount of shares, but worth tying up a few bucks long term, IMO.
Sam, I'm afraid that was the last hurrah. Management not even bothering to let shareholders know what is going on. But, there's always a chance they are holding an Ace up their sleeve. I really hope that's the case for those forced to hold right now.
ATEA is a low floater I'm holding, 3 million OS and 1.1 float.
Hoping for a big pop on next earnings, low daily volume for now.
