are you kidding?
Would you rather be Common man? or Preferred? :)
If Dillution is the case, then what? No one here would do anything.
IMHO, Dump your common shares save what you can and stock up on preferred shares.
New Motley Fool Article is out.........

Thats not a bad idea, however i doubt DTC would give any one of us a tracking number to the mailed certificates?
That figure of 1 million is a conservative estimate and just an example I was trying to make. TFN will really have to rake in the cash for BKMP and its shareholder to feel the effects. Yes it will take time for that loss to be eliminated, I understand. Right now if you go by the numbers IMHO .0005 is actually overpriced for BKMP.
..... There are people here who have held the stock since it was known as first canadian, and besides maybe a few good flips what have they got to show for it? Thats why I say that sandy really needs to show the shareholders the money. Steff You are very trusting , I guess there's nothing wrong with trying to see the good in someone but at the end of the day you have got to remember its pinksheet land where scams and deceptions run rampid, its real hard for most to be so patient. Anyway, yes we're all in the same boat right now so its a wait and see thing.........
I agree with your statement, however has Winick actually told you that? I heard Mike Garrow say TFN will be Profitable , i never heard Winick say BKMP will be. by the way you can go look at the Winick quarterly report, he clearly outlines the fact that BKMP has Carried over a net operating loss of over $22 million . thats where I'm getting it from. If TFN makes 1 million next year in revenues that means BKMP gets 20% or 200k. You see what I'm saying ? its going to take along time for BKMP to rach the black, but TFN will no doubt make bank $$$$. Lets hope the preferred shares are somehow someway tied to TFN.
If thats the case then its one real expensive phone booth.
$16,900 per quarter according to the quarterly report
Hey I give credit where credit is due... When most people wouldve filed for bankruptcy with that type of loss hanging over their heads, winick is still going. Cant help but admire that, however, that hole is only getting deeper and he has not given us any sign that he's going to stop digging.
First of all its TFN that has to get the US Carriers not BKMP.
BKMP is a holding company. TFN needs to start brining in some seroius revenues because only 20% of the revs are funneled to BKMP. 21k per quarter isnt going to cut it for BKMP
Because IMHO they want to dump and get rich. eom
Of Course. I try to look at things from both sides... If Sandy screws up , believe me I will call him out on it. If he executes and does good by the shareholders, then I will praise him. IMHO sandy has yet to come up with the good yet. all he has to show the shareholders is a net operating loss of over $22 million since 2004?. As of right now the jury is still out on Winick . He needs to come up with the goods. Lets see how he handles this situation. Its all about execution!!
Great post thanks :)
IMHO figure out what the bookvalue of BKMP is and you will get a better idea to answer that question.
Could you post that email if possible? If the companies CEO is getting the run around then there's some serious issues going on. I would like him more if he could show some saviness or ability to execute. IMHO He's not done much to increase or sustain common stockholder's value... I'm starting to believe as far as this preferred shares situation ,he may have bitten off more than he could chew here.
According to Messege 155027.....
From the tone of the email Sandy doesnt sound like he will be lending a hand.
Sandy's Email Response .............
"We have no idea what the brokerage firms and the DTC is saying.
There is no confusion by the company.
The dividends were paid as they were suppose to be, sent to DTC as requested and sent to the brokerage firms for distribution to the shareholders as it is suppose to happen.
The shares have received a symbol.
The company has done exactly what is was suppose to do.
The rest it up to the market and the market makers, not the company".
That's assuming that these preferred shares will be of TFN, and not in some garbage company like the AMSN.
Are you really surprised? IMHO anything Mr Wininck does ends up being a big cluster
sorry... Apple Desktop :)
Great So Holding these shares mean I have first dibs on Sandy's IMAC?
Did Winick not say in a email that there will be no dividends paid?
right here.......
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preferred_stock
What Kind of Preferred Stock are we getting?.....
Im sure Mr Winick can answer that? Is BKMPP....
A) Cumulative Preferred Stock
B)Non-cumulative Preferred Stock
C)Convertible Preferred Stock
D)Exchangable Preferred Stock
E)Participating Preferred Stock
F)Perpetual Preferred Stock
G)Puttable Preferred Stock
and whats the par value of our Preferred shares?
These are things we all really need to know
Preferred shares are more common in private companies, where it is more useful to distinguish between the control of and the economic interest in the company
-Almost all preferred shares have a fixed dividend amount. The dividend is usually specified as a percentage of the par value or as a fixed amount. For example Pacific Gas & Electric 6% Series A preferred. Unlike debt securities, however,a company is not legally required to pay preferred dividends and will not be in default for missing a preferred dividend payment.
In the United States issuance of publicly listed preferred stock is generally limited to financial institutions, REITs and public utilities. Because in the US dividends on preferred stock are not tax deductible (like interest expense), the effective cost of capital raised by preferred stock is 35% greater than issuing the equivalent amount of debt at the same interest rate. This has lead to the development of TRuPS (Trust-preferred security) which are essentially debt instruments with the same properties as preferred stock.
However, with a dividend tax of 15% and a top marginal tax rate of 35%[2], one dollar of dividend income taxed at these rates provides the same after-tax income as approximately $1.30 in interest.
Its never a good sign when the company gags the TA... but there are always questions to ask that can be answered by them. I agree. i think that guy messed up and told you something you werent supposed to know quite yet
Here's the Transfer agents number if you need it.....
American Heritage Stock Transfer INC

OT: Wow those globetel people wasted no time lol they seem to be very influential lol
I guess thats one more person you can cross off your christmas card list
thats when they will be trading on the pinks..... they have been delisted from AMEX
OT: Dont worry im sure the globetel shareholders will be requesting to see pinksheet quotes from ameritrade in droves, starting on wed oct 11th.
GTE needs to get listed on the OTC very fast or is could get worse as far as share price is concernd
IMHO the Institutions (whats left of them) will start jumping ship shortly the fund managers that bought GTE are probably going to be on the hot seat
OT: your team just wasnt't hungry enough to win it.
with that kind of payroll, and all eyes on the Yankees and how they "Should" win because they are so stacked, It seemed like they are playing like they expect to win rather than a team that wants it so badly.
Look at the Tigers, that team came from going 43-119 two seasons ago to dominating the central and when facing the yanks, I think every step they took in each game meant so much to all those young hungry players. You don't think Bonderman wanted this game more than anything? you don't think Brandon Inge, a guy who went through that 119 loss campaign had some extra fuel to his fire knowing the abyss this team crawled out from?
You guys have a stacked lineup one through nine. Damon, Jeter, Abreu, Giambi, Sheff, Arod, Posada, Matsui, Cano.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE PLAYERS are 3rd/CLEANUP hitting players on any other team. what does that mean? you have NO ROLE PLAYERS...where are your bunters? where are the guys who want to get on base so bad just so they can steal and try to score that one run so that the team will be that much closer to winning. Where are the guys that jump and pump fists just by reaching first base with a single? where is the fire? NONE! everyone wants the big hit, everyone wants to be a hero, because they all have the big $$. Your team has no synergy, no chemistry. Sure they steamrolled over the EAST, that should have been done no doubt because in the course of a longgg 162 game season, your team's depth will carry you.
But in the playoffs, when series are short, pitches are magnified and the pressure is on...
the name of the game is this: which team is the best at harmonizing the 9 players on the field into ONE?
The Yanks DO NOT (did not..) have a great lineup. What they had was an assemblage of 9 impressive individual hitters (mercs)who do not feed off one another. They do not move runners over. They do not steal bases much. They do not execute hit and runs. I doubt they even know how to lay a down a sacrifice.
They are a slow, old, station-to-station team who can overpower average pitching on occassion but is unable to do the little things it takes to win when facing a solid staff.
On top of that their defense is shabby, their outfielders can't throw (except Abreu, but he's afraid of outfield walls), their fundamentals as a whole are iffy, and their bullpen is comprised of mostly ineffective cast-offs from other teams.
The yankees have 9 individuals hunting for their own glory , and when they fail, the media and the fans turn their attention to scapegoats like A-ROD and persecute him for his poor performance. no. Everybody in that lineup stunk in this series vs detroit. Which pitcher stepped up and proved his heart out like Kenny Rogers did? like Jeremy Bonderman? maybe Wang... and Muss put up a good fight.... but nothing compared to what those detroit starters did. nobody played on this yankee team as one. It's not AROD, or Randy or Joe Torre who is to blame... it's that that the whole team just ain't normal. No 210 million dollar team can be normal. There is probably too much money politics in that clubhouse. Like... that guy makes 20 million, he should be doing more. Heck I'm only making $10 mil... bash me all you want like I don't have the sources to prove that... but hey I'm just stating my theory from my observations from watching lots and lots of baseball.
Your guys had synergy and dominance in 98,99,2000. then Big Stein got greedy. you had the perfect balance of young talent and clutch veteran leadership. you guys had unbelievable pitching in Petite, and El-duque. Clemens Lead the way in 99 and 2000. They all stepped up in their big games. Now it seems like your rotation has no answer.
sigh.. sadly.. big stein in a angry rage will sign more big free agents to try to bolster this team even more... When will you learn GS?
I'm not putting down the yankees or calling them a bad team by any stretch. The individuals on this team are very talented and I'm merely putting down my observation of this team and analyzing what is wrong. something definitely is wrong. The payroll has gone up season by season, and you have nothing to show for it from the playoffs. you just can't buy a winner...
If you believe the old saying that "It's not the team with the best players who wins, but the team that plays best", then their postseason shouldn't come as that much of a surprise.
GS spent $975 million in the past 5yrs with nothing to show for it. he might as well have used that money to buy BKMP or QBID common stock.
OT: DEAR Tina......

Thats easy......
they would use the most common MM's that insiders use, we call them the "financing" MM"s VNDM, TASL, VFIN, ARCA, NITE, and to some extent DOMS
I guess we can Add Tmothy Huff (GTE)
globetel CEO
sorry but IMHO jrod knows charts, not L2. L2 can show you alot more than most care or chose to see. it's all right there.
see it doesnt have to be a PR, I guess its better for him that way so there's nothing holding him to it only the words of a retail investor and you know mr. winick will deny everything if confronted and he is proven to be wrong. anyway I guess all you can do is hope that the shorts are reason the share price is at .0004
Yes thats why i made a board hitting that topic about how pinksheet/OTC CEO's brainwash their longs into thinking "shorts" are the reason for their pathetic share price while in the mean-time they unload their shares
