I do appreciate the kind words. Thank you !
That’s fair. Thanks for sharing your thought process. The 5-year plan is fine, but you might surprise yourself on how long you hold a winning stock in a new sector. I didn’t mean to suggest to wait 10 years before you look at it again. What I tried to state is watch the development and every 90 days at least go thru the filing to make sure the story is on track. Seems like you have a handle on what you want to so, GL
Well, wasn't trying to make anybody’s point, other than my own view point. The SEC filings are what’s king for long investors. News, depending, will not have the same depth and detail as in the SEC filings.
If you are a long, the news releases may provide a short term look that the reason you bought is still on track, and that’s fine. BTW at the time you do sell, you become a trader yourself.
Also, BTW. Why so many projections? It shouldn’t matter what it’s doing over the next 2-3 years. Typically, long-term investing means five years or more. And since were in an illegal market currently by FED standards, at the start of this “new” product entrance, don’t you think 10 to 20 years would be more likely to be expected?
Were at the beginning of all this. If your truly long, let it come to you, give it the rest of the decade to grow and mature.
Well, thank you. It’s appreciated. To your post, yes that is exactly correct. If you didn’t it would the same as going in blind.
The one thing I didn’t mention in my post that would also apply to investors is the SEC filings. You can learn everything you need to know about the company you have. Headlines and press releases pale in what will be learned in the SEC filings. A must have for any investor. As a trader it also wouldn’t hurt to read those in regards to what’s going on, and what’s coming up. It can be a nice preview for a trader to set up for.
Anyway, thanks for the post!
Ok, the r/s is in effect 6/13. Somewhere around 3.85 I'm guessing. I will be impressed if it stays above 2.50 by the end of summer.
SAFE banking by itself will not allow them to up list.
I’ll add 2 cents into the conversation. News is an action. Depending on the news it can have a short-term effect or long-term effect. It will not tell you how high or how low {overbought, over sold} the price will go. You will have MOMO’s, Shorts, and tag along FOMO players and traders play in that arena.
T/A and for that matter fundamentals are measurement tools. TA will tell you oversold, over bought, fair value, strength, weakness of the share price. Best used for traders and those adding or selling into a current position. Brokers use ta, so do quants, algo’s and computer trading platforms. And down in the OTC here we certainly should include MM’s who are in direct competition with, well everybody.
Longs are all about selection process. Once they buy it, unless they add or subtract {which is trading btw} they have no impact on the day to day. They are just in the bleachers watching.
Yesterday. Dropped into the 13.30’s out of the gate. This was macro related. Staying in the 13.30’s to 13.50 for the first 90 min. Enough time to get everybody comfortable that the low was likely in place and may be safe to take advantage of the lower price. Which one did with a bigger trade? Knocked it up the 13.70 range. Staying the 13.70 to 13.85 range for the next 3 hours. A little news, a rise up to 14.70 area. Took 30 min roughly for that on declining volume, then the last 45 min a drop from 14.70’s to a final of 14.02.
Did anything other than the news cause the price to jump like that. No. Charting can not tell you the effect of news will have as stated above. It only can measure. So, news did make it go up. Yes. However, charting did play a roll for the day traders. They saw a very oversold position that leveled out. That would make it ripe for a rise. The price did come back from that oversold. News, price went to an overbought, no more push to be seen, take the profits and close out the day. Volume during that process was nothing special. Again, while you couldn’t see news coming, you can see the oversold and overbought clear as a bell and I’m guessing those that did took advantage.
So, what’s the point. News is an opportunity, if it favors the direction, you seek. TA is an everyday tool to measure what’s happening in real time. Price, volume, strength, weakness, price points and if needed you can measure down to the min. in real time.
However, once every 90 days we have fundamentals from the quarterly’s controlling both news and TA.
It’s my opinion that if you’re an individual investor, regardless of type, wouldn’t be in your best interest to understand, and use all three.
Anyway, just a simple way to view things and all IMO
They are a long ways away before anything like that could even be a threat, and many bad things would have to happen along the way. There just is no vison on anything like that now.
I agree. And I wrote that before here.
Apparently there is a big secret that only a select few know about concerning Aug. I think there is only 2 or 3 that are in the know, so Wall street will just have to catch on later.
High noon , or close enough. 40 trade - 14000 dollars - 350 per. Biggest day this week!
Say Houck, wasn't that buy signal you were mentioning on reddit go to happen today?
ok , by when?
Well wolfie, sounds like your on something there. The way you presented it, the way you put the pieces together, you build a pretty good case by what I read. Seems like it would be the perfect partner. What do you think, end of summer or end of year?
Alright, close out the day with 40 trades- 8500 dollars 214 per trade. Should be mentioned that does include the MM swaps, trades, thru triggers and signals.
Vs say cv which has no money to burn.
Looks like the only CBD company making money this week is CW.
yet. LOL.
High noon report. 20 trades, 2807 in dollars , 140 per trade. Appears only 3 MM trigger signals. That’s down.
Credit where credit is due goes to Darth who caught on to this a while back.
Well good for you, but what does that have to do with Aug?
Quiet day for the most part. About an hour ago there were a fury of buys over 36 sec. 11 total for roughly 5800 dollars. But totals for the day are 58 trades – 11k – 194 per trade so far.
WHY ? What going to happen by Aug? Aside from your AUG reply maybe buyers are just waiting for it to drop into .02s
Well, you finally might be right. We know they had to get rid of 3 board members because they could no longer afford them. Conserving the cash on hand seems right. JD needs to get paid. And we know he doesn’t want anything to do with the shares. So, default, get that FRP going and dilute. They only ones getting hurt are the shareholders. Ya, that fits.
Your right, it’s hard to see what/why they are doing it this way. They don’t go out of the way to explain it to the shareholders. At the end of the day, it’s take your best guess.
Well it's a good point. They didn't go up to 100m shares until about 2 years ago. So only 38 percent dilution since then. It's the newly found 600 million dilution that concerns me. When they pull that handle it's going to hurt.
The first couple of hours is a little light. 23 trades 2039 dollars, 88 dollars a trade.
Regarding part of your post. 77183 . “ On December 4, 2020, CV Sciences, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into a common stock purchase agreement (the “Purchase Agreement”) with Tumim Stone Capital LLC (“Tumim”
Isn’t that the one where we actually paid them to buy our shares. Which we now know they promptly dumped. How do we know because less than .01 percent is institutional investors.
But this last deal is even more confusing than paying to buy our shares. 130k in Nov turn to us paying 151k a little over 6 mo later.
It’s a little concerning.
You do know you can check how many shares are short on any given day, right?
Yep, think you called buying in volume before. Not trading this one, down side risk is a little too unpredictable for me. Large caps or trendy stocks are less risk, for me anyway.
However, your call on the R/S will certainly be money maker for those who can handle shorting.
Good luck with the trading.
So per that we are all done with dilution, good to know. "NO MORE DILUTION" I'll save this post.
3 hr’s in. 23 trades, 4600 dollars. 200 per trade. It’s on fire today.
Question on the "NO MORE DILUTION" wasn't there some just yesterday in the 8k?
Isn't DR Fang still dead. Really like that call on the merger he put out, but again he's dead
That’s some good input. Thanks
You do understand why CW is up 18 percent today , right, it's ok CV is riding it's coat tails.
That is correct. The folly of a FRP
Your correct, in fact all your post on the history last night were correct.
Your right, they can't
Well the can work out something with the IP on a royalty scale, not really sure how that would work without the 007going thru all phases plus getting past the FDA. I mean it would be worth a lot more after than before. Something with a goals based may work,
They could sell 007 out right
They could have a merger, but than again what happens if it doesn’t get past all phases?
I’m sure there will be other options too.
The best thing would be to push it thru themselves, they have been sitting on it for awhile and I’m not so sure they can front the cost any longer { not sure they can raise that type of money}. Then you still have the 2-3 years it takes to get it thru all 3 phases.
Many things to think about.
I would like to thank all 3 of you for the 8k posts.
