big volume for IPII this morning Institutions must be buying a few here...Could be a good week for this one..
FUNNY HOW THIS BOARD WAS PUT UP TODAY...I SOLD 1/2 OF MY IPII TODAY AND THEY ARE GOING TO SEND ME MY CHECK...WITH THE MONEY I AM GOING TO PAY OFF MY HOUSE COMPLETLY ....NO MORE HOUSE PAYMENT FOR ME.... IT IS NOW WORTH ABOUT 850K ALSO BOUGHT A HONDA SHADOW 1100 cc and a new hot tub to have some fun on and in....right now I love the stock market...I have paid my house off yipppee...thanks LEN for allowing me to share my joy..
WOW IPII IS ON FIRE finally it is discovered eom
Never have posted but take a look at IPII seems to have broken out... this is a value stock with a pe of about 8 and showing growth to boot..It is just now being discovered coming up to the Nasdaq small cap market.
Len the housing market in calif is off the scale Mountain View is about 2 hours from me and is very expensive (near silicon vally)..where I live on the monterey peninsula it is as or more expensive check Carmel Real estate very beautiful but were talking 1 million or more for almost every house and If your 1 block within the beach it is 2-6 million even the house in which I live I bought in 1979 for 39k is now worth 850 k "its my retirement fund" great place to visit
IPII is showing a little activity today eom
Just heard on CNBC that there are more shorts in oil futures then longs first time in many months for this to happen.
ENERGY TRUSTS are something new to me, here is a chart with a bunch of names that I will be starting to look at for the future. I want to pick 1, well one of the best ones, I am just starting today ,I thought and know that you guys have talked about these before in the past.. but in todays market that yield looks good .If we can pick the oil bottome, it might be sweet to have these when oil go's back up in the future. Again you guys are the experts do you have a fovorite pick, dont need to explain if you dont want to I will do dd but it helps to have some fovorite picks...thanks this market sucks and sometimes wise to protect your cash and put it in something safe with a dividend
IPII showed up on this list scroll down about 3/4 way..compare the numbers of the different stocks..IPII should start to show up on other lists too as being UNDERVALUED WITH STRONG GROWTH and in this market biger plays will be drwn to it..heck I may be a buyer of yet more if it pulls back any, I think 12 is in our future not too long from now..
http://yahoo.investor.reuters.com/Hot.aspx?target=%2fmarkets%2fmactivity%2fwhatshot%2fwina
Seems to me like IPII is one of the great value plays right now with a large risk to reward "benifit" for lack of words..with a PE of only about 8 if it only goes to 12 that would be a great return on our money...With IPII only being on the nasdaq sm. cap. market for just a short while it is still under the radar screens of many if not ALL bigger players (funds)..And with the report that just came in we should see higher prices ahead..and just think if some momentum players step in with the low float might see 13-15 in a short time...IMHO... but you never know could be a dud too.
while were talking oil is EGY one of the lower pe oils out there, I own egy aspn fppc and bsic in that order...If my IPII ever hits good earnings would like to put somemore cash in the oils..need help ...or should i just build a larger position in what I got any ideas are very welcomed
very nice day today hope earnings come out soon with the good market we could get a real pop in price
YEEHAA whats up with MDF up .27 and over 1.15 million shares traded earnings out tomorrow I smell a leaky leaky
DONT KNOW HOW but ther are 3 to buy @ 8.85 1@ 8.82 20@ 8.65 10@ 8.65 SELL SIDE 1@8.97 17@ 9 5@ 9
if you can understand that point is more buyer than sellers and should be great earnings coming out with a low pe trades on Nas. sm. cp.
buyers and sellers can change anytime JMHO here... disclaimer IPII number 1 holding of mine
IPII earnings out soon dont know exact date should be a good one up alittle today L2 looking good if any buying comes in might pop PE very low about 8 (dont quote me)
EGY NEWS OUT
VAALCO Energy Announces 223% Increase in First Quarter 2005 Results
Monday May 2, 5:50 pm ET
HOUSTON, May 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VAALCO Energy, Inc. (Amex: EGY - News), (the "Company") announced that for the first quarter of 2005 earnings were $7.3 million or $0.20 per basic share and $0.12 per diluted share. This compared to net income of $3.3 million or $0.15 per basic share and $0.05 per diluted share for the comparable period in 2004. The Company sold 519,000 net barrels at an average price of $44.58 per barrel during the first quarter of 2005 compared to 265,000 barrels at an average price of $30.83 per barrel in the first quarter of 2004. The increased oil sales were due in part to timing differences associated with liftings from the Etame field and from the increase in production as a result of the ET-5H development well. Production was approximately 15,000 barrels of oil per day before opening the ET-5H well and production has been stable at approximately 19,000 barrels per day since December 2004.
Discretionary cash flow, a non-GAAP financial measure of the amount of cash generated that can be used for working capital, debt service or future investments, was $9.8 million for the three months ended March 31, 2005.
Robert L. Gerry, III, Chairman and CEO stated, "First quarter 2005 earnings benefited from increased production rates as compared to first quarter 2004 as a result of the addition of the Etame 5H development well last August. We have just spudded an exploration well, the EAVSM-1, on a prospect south of the Avouma discovery. That well should reach total depth in about 30 days. After the EAVSM-1 well is drilled, we will commence the drilling of the Etame 6H development well to further increase production from the Etame field. Upon a successful completion we anticipate raising field wide production to between 23,000 and 25,000 barrels per day.

Discretionary cash flow measures the amount of cash generated by the Company that can be used as working capital, to reduce debt, or for future investment activities. Discretionary cash flow is presented because management believes it is a useful adjunct to net cash flow provided by operating activities under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (GAAP). The measure is widely used by investors and professional research analysts in the valuation, comparison, rating and investment recommendations of companies within the oil and gas exploration and production industry. Discretionary cash flow can be reconciled to net cash provided by operating activities in the Statement of Consolidated Cash Flows filed with the SEC as follows:

CrocHntr you said that well, I too thank you Mr. Bobwins for all your help has change the way my family lives the past 1 1/2 year of investing the "bobwins" style..If ever on the monterey penensula you can stay with us anytime
I bought 125 shares at the ask to round out the # of shares I have it was the first trade of the day as soon as NITE gave me the 125 they raised the ask to I think it was 8.40..that told me probably not many shares to be had, and we should see a pop with any buying coming in.
Yea I have had that thought that a lot of people are holding right now since everyone knew about this and once we are there take the % up and sell BUT everyone that knows this company knows that around May 15th they are be coming out with great earnings which WILL GET NOTICED, remember last year I think they made something like $1.20 just going by memory (could be wrong)PE of what 7 right now?? when those earnings come out in 2 1/2 weeks we will do the boosh.
IMPL is going to the nasdaq on monday might see it go
up tomorrow the index funds that will buy in will push it up alone..symbol on monday will go back to IPII..remember my ipii
hopefully we will se a pop with IMPL--IPII tomorrow yeehaa IMPL is my #1 holding in my cash accout(hope it happens)

Now that is a "VALUE" post, too much, but very true...thanks and I hope I dont get cancer on my little animal?
APYM came back strong today after being down, bought a few more at the days low it looked like a lot of people want this stock good to see it come back
Back in BIPH 2.90 only 1k shares eom
MDF looks like it is searching for a bottom.Hope 2.05 holds and we some some interest in it..
Your 100 % right the stocks I have been married too have really pulled me down, the ones that I have been trading have been doing great although I have missed a few by selling too early "biph", I have done good though, we must take the emotion out of it and always the Fear and Greed part ...when I geat greedy that is when I make the mistake of not selling I think it will continue to go up which it dose not, got to pull the trigger some times...Mr Phophet I notice are you warming up to APYM a little more that is another one I sold 1/3 of my shares a little too early but still have got alot and looking forward to some news over there to give it the spike..
OT I have been thinking about this for a few days, and the high price of Oil,,If I were a terorist and I wanted to hurt and put fear all accross the world I would try to blow up 1 or more oil refinerys or some large facility to cause panick with the oil traders...That broker that made that prediction a few days ago said that it would be something like a short term "super spike" in oil prices..Just a thought for oil
I keep trying to tell everyone about the zipcodechanger APYM here is what "the phrophet "says about it

waverider~nice post. I too see the chance of a major move up coming here soon. I hope, at a minimum, that APYM trades above 2.40 area for a week. As long as this minimum is kept, it should make a large booooooosh. The largest one yet, making a parabolic chart. So far, it has gone 45 degrees. Like Gordon Gecko, I buy 45 degree angles. I think your 3.50 target is very obtainable, and wouldn't surprise me to see 5. As long as my trendline holds, worth sticking out to see what happens.
Watch out for BIPH looks like it wants to down a little
WHATS THIS CPTC UP IN PREMARKET ALSO APYM LOOKING UP
APYM still on the run up about .80 since I first posted here. from 1.80 to 2.58 now here is some DD...
