yes! exactly! well said! If you were here I'd buy you a cold one...lol.
Once our trading pattern stabilizes the big players will join us. Now that's a happy thought!
Thought I’d chime in to lighten the air a bit...
Imagine it’s Saturday afternoon in the summer of your 5th year. Dad is givin’ you a piggy-back ride, talking with you, and giving you the reassurance you need to build confidence in yourself and your future. Suddenly Monday morning arrives and you run to Dad for your morning hug only to witness him driving away. Now what? You’re alone, and hurt! All you have is faith that Dad will return and all will be well again. Until that time which might as well be an eternity away, you are simply “ALONE”!
In the past, Dr. Cavasin spoiled us as any good “Dad” would. We received continual reassurance that he was doing everything in his power to secure OUR/Alcar’s future. Now that he’s left us to go to that “Evil Workplace”, we are alone, idle, and afraid. Has he been in an accident? Has he run off, never to return???
Many here have valid concerns…as do I. Bottom line is...IMO...many are simply angry because we are much “poorer” than we should be based on each of our own wealth building timelines. FACE IT...if Dad had left “a load of cash with your name on it” on the coffee table, you wouldn’t give a plug nickel where he was! You’d be thinking about what to spend the money on...lol.
All the Best from Oklahoma!
Good Morning All...
I'm sure they know this and preventing a similar scenario in the near-term may be precisely their intentions...
Many here are at the end of their tolerance level and need to see a PR and another huge run. However, those of us who've been watching for months know that it will not hold if NSS problem has not been dealt with. Whatever the reason for suspension of all communication, we will know soon enough. In the meantime, I will not add myself to the list of "Reasons to Take Our Tech/Company Private"! If I lose my 17k invested here it will not be the end of the world. With ample financial backing, I will speculate that Dr. Cavasin is preparing something big for the enduring shareholders here...but not until the problems with the shell/NSS issues are behind us.
Have a great day all...
Sounds like quiet accumulation... could just be small investors like me accumulating as funds are available; however, it could be Citigroup attempting to fill a large order in small pieces (as cheap as possible) as they work to stay on top of the bid??
Nice bid support today! Looks like they are lining up for winnotlose's shares...
Thanks Crypt Keeper...
I been without LII for 2 days now. The MM landscape is definately changing! Notice that the bid has crept up all day methodically to catch any sellers. Have you noticed who's working to stay on top of the bid pile?
WOW...winnotlose...you sound like Mortimer Duke from the movie Trading Places yelling at his floor guy to "GET BACK IN THERE AND SELL!, SELL!, SELL!" as Randolph Duke passes out...lol. Great movie!
As I'm sure is the case with many here, this silence is testing my patience; however, I am in until I find hard proof that I shouldn't be!
Thanks for the tip...
beerdup
Lured in by the capital to achieve his dream...then lose control of his dream's destiny in the process. WOW...now I really need that beer!...lol
I'm right there with you in this concern. I worried about this point for weeks! Now, I have decided (based solely on gut feeling) that Alex could not have been hornswaggled this badly by SREG. I may be wrong in the end...only time will reveal.
It's hard to imagine the landscape here without any contact from the company for that amount of time. Actually, I cannot image it happening nor do I think it is in any way the best course of action. However, regardless of the methodology here...there is a reason for this silence. We can only speculate to the motivations of SREG/ACMG. I have read so much about Dr. Cavasin over the last 6 months and am very confident that all is moving forward. Potentially not exactly according to initial plans, but forward in any case. When any of us need assurances, we should refer back to Alex's wording in PRs and the response emails to Sentinel. With his background of success, his investment in Alcar, and genuine sincerity in communications, I know he will not simply turn his back on this venture or us! Some may call this blind faith...I call it verifiable confidence!!
Let's focus on the latter! Happy thoughts...!
...oh by the way, great posts today arbitrageur! Waiting until August for a PR will require large amounts of beer consumption...lol. I'm in this 'till the bitter end...no matter how much beer I have to drink! Oh the sacrifice...the worry...the pain... Turn up the Def Leppard and pour me up a cold High Life! This is gonna be a helluva ride! Why burn off the sugar cane fields after harvest when our Dr. Cavasin can turn it into $$$!
Cheers from Oklahoma!

Hello all Alcar Longs...
I don't post much here as work keeps me busy. However, in response to the query...I think all who frequent this board have accumulated the bulk of their positions far prior to iseemtobewrongalot's information last night. I for one have doubled my holdings with the last purchase being yesterday @ .0325. Iseem's posts here simply gave us faithfuls some near term hope for validation through a much anticipated PR. I understand his need to honor his word and end his posts; however, I think I speak for many here when I say "Thank You" for being bold enough to put yourself out there in such a way...and please reconsider your position. This is a wonderful medium for sharing information. IMO...it's up to each individual to filter the trash!; and unfortunately, there's a lot of it!

Your Question: QUOTE>>”Also, how do you REALLY know whether USSE was REALLY interested in Alcar? Neither you nor myself know.”
Answer: Alcar was posted as a partner on USSE's website.
If USSE was not interested, why would they have placed Alcar's logo on their site to show affiliation?
All the Best!
...and we've both seen each scenario happen! Let's hope it's the former not the latter.
Han...sorry for the response delay
I am not questioning the validity of the articles you have cited. However, I am questioning the relevance to the future of our company.
History has proven over and over that providing accessibility to a product through cheaper production methods may alter market demand significantly (i.e. “Henry Ford”). Also, are any other companies currently addressing the poly market from renewable feedstock in Thailand?
I hope your questions are answered and confidence in Alcar is restored. We all need a certain level of confidence through ample due diligence to weather these crazy market responses!!
All the Best to You and Yours
Han...conversion off a bit...
1 US Gallon = 3.79 liters
Also I have a question? What is your motivation behind continually posting the same negative speculation regarding current ethanol demand vs. supply in Thailand? Haven’t you considered the possibility that archaic production methods keep the market price to high to generate ample demand? Alcar’s production methods should change that variable!
I remember your posts in the past being informative and contributing to this investor research forum. Now, through continually posting the same information, your motives are…well “open for speculation”.
All the best
Thank you prado...
...a release next week will be much more well prepared and informative (and "have a much more dramatic effect" as you so eloquently stated).
...oh and you are probably right about the spicy food...lol. My wife and I had a laugh about that one.
All who sold yesterday out of frustration may be trying to find a higher entry next week when the highly anticipated news is released.
Have a great weekend,
beerdup
From Last PR:
>>The company expects to release the terms and conditions of the letter of intent with the consortium on February 16, 2007<<
As any of us who work for growing companies know, dealing with delays are a daily annoyance that is part of the normal growth cycle. I am a very impatient person by nature (in most aspects of my life); consequently, this has required some adjustment for me as my company suffers similar growing pains. My point is..."we will get our PR". Maybe not when the company originally "EXPECTED" but we will get it in due time. Patience my friends!!
See you all next week...
beerdup
grantg2...thanks for the reply. Concerning our beliefs in both company's potential and entry point in USSE, we are in very similar positions. My initial entry was at .62 and have not sold a share (accumulation only; average now about .34). My ACMG average is now .091...much higher than before but still a bargain.
...so much is transpiring here that we are not privy to. Daily DD turns up a few tidbits into potential future deals and earnings potential. We just have to stick to our resolve in the company's technologies, add when opportunities present, and let the management advance their business plan. Both companies have to make daily business decisions. Some we will agree with...some we will not. Regardless, each company is aggressively making decisions to "make things happen!" on their timeline...not ours. I'd rather see some bad decisions made than none at all!! Just happy to have the opportunity to go along for the ride.
The Panthers/Jaguars correlation is a neat take!! Although ACMG/USSE are competing technologies, each will find their place in this emerging market in due time.
All the Best from Oklahoma!!

jerseyboy and Han2004fl,
Thank you for the projections and insight into our company's future today. I sold my 100k position mid January after a USSE rep stated that the ACMG deal was dead. What a bad call on my part!! Back in now with only 1/3 of my original position. Just glad to be here...even in a modest capacity.
Once again, thanks for the great commentary! This ought to be a very interesting week as news unfolds.
All the Best,
beerdup
Why is this post still here??
It’s off topic and extremely inflammatory!
I think many proud Americans here would agree!
God Bless the USA!

Way to keep up with it Brother!
I'm working so my attention is intermittent. My order at .29 as filled while I was away from my desk.
That's all I need for today! She can run now... I'll catch it again somewhere on the way up!
Larice
I'd have to agree. Many are waiting for a dip to buy...imo. When that opportunity doesn't present itself, they will buy "at ask" cause they...gotta get 'em some of this...and will have to pay the price!
beerdup
yes...and with anticipation of the results of January testing it should hold!
If they are able to efficiently perform the electrolysis and provide stable storage for the hydrogen. This co will change transportation worldwide!

Just noticed that the last 12 posts were yours. Keep up the good work brother!
I bet we see more from the USSE board here soon.

Perhaps its the short attention span of most investors. Distracted by others with higher volume...oh and lack of planning. A PR reminder would have brought some volume today and a higher PPS (imo). The website reminder was nice, but didn't reach the masses.
However, it's of no long term consequence to those of us holding for the dividend shares and beyond. I more than tripled my position last week at .36. Oh yeah...that's some sweet action!!
Next week ought to be a hoot...lol.
All the Best,

Thanks and Congratulations to you and your wife as well. Everlasting is the perfect sentiment!
We fly down to Florida 3 or 4 times a year to get away. No property there though...maybe down the road.
WOW!! Nice boat my friend!! Makes the little SeaRay in my drive look like a jon-boat...lol.
Well that's enough thinking about the Florida sand...back to Oklahoma work and gloomy weather.
Your Oklahoma XKEM Brother,

You are a very blessed man Fox...indeed!!
I love to hear these stories. It's 19 yrs on Dec. 19 for my wife and I. Can't imagine my life without her...And like you, all friends and family working on 2nd or 3rd. Many have just given up.
Mrs. beerdup is why I have become a compulsive investor. We plan to take a couple years off for travel when XKEM reaches it's potential.

Congratulations...
I've been accumulating since Feb. and am long on this one.
Tried to add this morning, but with all the interuptions at work I didn't get any additional shares bought before the run.
Hoping for a dip tomorrow to add a few before it takes off again.

Anyone here watching CDNC today? Huge volume on revenue news! I'm gonna try to grab a few more tomorrow if the price stays under .009 long enough.
This is a co "IMO" that has amazing future potential. I'm holding my position long-term for much higher ground.
If anyone is doing DD on this tonight, be sure to look at insider purchases over the last 6mo. Much of the float has been bought up by the family of the CEO (and they are holding too...lol).
Many here have given me good investment ideas in the past...thank you!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
