Yeah right...I've never had a loosing trade too.
I'm as good as an HFT algorithm programmed by Virtu
I think shorts in BAA are nervous about the open.
BAA may not pop with the rest of the gold stocks.
They may have a chance to get out.
Namoya Commercial Production 45-90 days
That's my prediction/assumption.
The news has been outstanding.
I'm rather baffled at price action, except as I said before...institutions need confirmation.
Price will incrementally achieve new trading levels with each earnings.
Perhaps you're a better trader than I
We've all got different tallents
My current profit is Minor (negligible) compared to what I expect from BAA.
This is getting a little personal but just to put it in perspective.
My dollar cost avg. is 0.1557 and I have 450,000 shares.
you can do the math.
I expect big things from this company.
I trade etf's UNG, GLD sds, spy....etc.
This is not a trade for me.
Perhaps read all of the latest PR's going form now back to December. Then, go over their Quarterly reports and you'll figure out why I'm not here for the short term.
I'm not a short term investor.
I know this company inside out, I'm not concerned.
Perhaps your right.
Still will not change the fact that BAA has $600 margin on production.
Gold Market < Dollar Market by orders of magnitude
so the gold market is far more sensitive to fund flows
Also the dollar Index has gone from 80 to 95 gold has held $1200
"CAT 777s in the beginning of Q3"
Said CEO John Clarke
http://seekingalpha.com/article/3184226-banros-baa-ceo-john-clarke-on-q1-2015-results-earnings-call-transcript?part=single
I can hardly believe that with all the good news we're not trading at book value!!!
It must be that institutions need confirmation of balance sheet.
As I've said before the streaming and forward sails, of course, did not show up on Q1 balance sheet. They've had about 7 great PR's.
June 8
May 20 (that counts in my book)
May 13
April 30
April 6
April 6
and of course Feb 27
I'm astonished.
Yet, still very excited.
Hearing "Very Optimistic" about Namoya gets my blood flowing again, like the expectation I felt before the release of last Quarters results.
CAT 777 on they way.
when they arrive. What can they declare....
Full commercial production!!!
When are they arriving?
"With the closing of the gold sale agreement and the streaming transaction, the required mobile fleet has been procured and we expect first delivery of the CAT 777s in the beginning of Q3."
well your a better trader than I
Highly likely getting a Namoya commercial production announcement soon.
Yes they would.
There have been sever times I've spoken with an IR dept. and they have been honest.
I spoke to MDW IR and sold at $0.25.
I greatly appreciated their factual data that was provided.
If you ask enough questions you'll get to the truth. Additionally, it's not so much the words as to their implicit meaning.
a statment like ..."yes we're optimistic"
is far different than saying
"Yes, Very optimistic!"
Tone means quite a bit.
IR - "Very Optimistic" about Namoya.
Question: "Lorie...it's a silly question but just wanted to check will Banro be releasing production results?"
Answer: "Yes, as soon as the Quarter is over, Press release will be within the first 10 days of July."
Question: "Are you guys feeling optimistic about Namoya?"
Answer: "Yes, Very optimistic."
Relative Volume 0.31x
Perhaps they'll at least take notice of the fact that some shareholders disapproved.
Sure man....
You have the same level of credibility as the stock you pumped MDW.
0.017%
I told all those guys they should buy BAA and sell MDW.
I told you that too.
CAT 777s!!!
Patience is difficult.
Realistically we should be getting good news next production report.
about two weeks.
If we're very lucky they may announce Namoya commercial production early next month with the arrival of the CAT777's
there ...that's something to be excited about.
I don't expect to hear anything.
They have to release to the entire public simultaneously through a PR if there is no news.
Someone could buy shares on their cell phone if there was big news.
They will only go over what is on the agenda.
"Some one must know something"
Yes someone always must know something...the facts will some day show through.
Then there are some of us who know nothing and think they know everything.
Perhaps that's me, perhaps it's you.
Who knows what's really true.
......................................................
Mumbo jumbo Lack of DD?
0.46X volume - lack of sellers and buyers.
seems that all who were flipping are out now.
Also, everyone who wanted to buy has bought.
So....stabilization and low volume.
This actually bodes well for the next PR.... I think.
Willing to bet some are waiting for confirmation of last Q's production and Revenue.
We all know it will be good but institutions need data and confirmation.
Yeah the market is a continuous auction mechanism.
There were no bids when that guy insisted on selling.
It likely means nothing.
Looks like we need the next news item.
Gotta say this is irritating given all the good PR's they've put out this should be a lot higher.
Well....
Production numbers will certainly be the next piece of good news.
IMPENDING DOOM???
I guess the markets aren't taking the PR at face value.
From listening to their Conference Calls they should have the cash flow to make it through another 1.5 yrs. The market might improve in the mean time.
Someone sold 18.5 million shares in 60 seconds today.
Interesting trade.
Anyone have an opinion and DD on this company??
I'm long VTG
Well...the balance sheet will be much improved with the release of Q2.
Also, Namoya going commercial announcement might give a boost.
And increased production data that will be out in two weeks.
Additionally, we shouldn't be trading at this level or anywhere near it.
I would also assume we will have commercial production from Namoya soon.
Q1 EPS = 0.026894
Net Income = 6,780,000 thus $0.03 EPS
Q1 Net income = 6,780,000
# shares = 252,100,000
EPS = 6,780,000 / 252,100,000
EPS = 0.026894
thus they rounded up as they should of course.
Just so ya-all know.
There is that entire penny of EPS before they can round up to 0.04.
and revenue for Namoya will go to Mine Under Construction and will not add to EPS.
Thus, my prediction for EPS Q2 is 0.03 to 0.04
Based upon that they likely increased throughput and recovery rates at Twangiza.
Q3 will be Off the hook...blow out Q
"Mine Under Construction"
keep in mind that the sails revenue resulting from production at Namoya will be capitalized as a deduction of construction expense and will not factor into earnings.
Namyoa is still considered "Mine Under Construction"
I don't know anything about it.
thanks.
Production #s from Twangiza & Namoya???
anyone care to share their estimates.
I'd guess we'll get the data in about two weeks.
6.38 times normal volume = MDW fallout.
The people selling BAA now are the same ones who bought MDW. (likely)
Kinda tells ya something.
This may last a couple days and then normal trading will resume.
Volume High & BAA lower due to MDW
This is quite temporary due to the knock on effect of the MDW BK.
As most of us know BAA and MDW are about as similar as the Sun and the Moon.
BTW
(I tried to tell members of this board and that to stay away)
repeatedly.

Like a troll under the bridge he's always there even when you can't see him.
That one heck of a position.
My holding of BAA 1/8 that size.
Guess you are the smart money.
Congratulations on your future early retirement.
Smart Money?
most on this board has the edge on the "smart money"....
Hope you're doing good Blue.
You ever think about writing a Seeking Alpha article about the BAA turnaround story?
A poster had brought it up early this morning.
Who's selling their shares to Arnold Kondradt today?
Well that would be a bad thing if your looking to sell BAA when they are fully valued.
That's a rather high hurdle...Lib Stat? or Blue?
Perhaps Blue is up to the task.
Requires a lot of time and research and fact checking and financial analysis.
i'd give it a shot if I weren't building a house.
Libertarian Statistician is actually the best qualified to do such a task.

They were in trading blackout until the reserves update came out.
They'll be in blackout again at the end of the month until earnings come out.
Kondradt is an active trader. He sold half of his shares about 15 months ago and bought back the shares he sold and more in January 2015 @ one third the price.
Things must be going quite well!
