Shalley -I'll try to answer the question the best I can.
The story was dated June 15, 2015 I believe the Microsoft settlement was earlier this year. Of which the Deal of are not known Court Sealed, but SFOR did Settle with PhoneFactor (bought by MSFT) for $9.7M.
SFOR probably made a good deal for themselves, but cut Microsoft a break so as to have the Win/Settlement of SFOR over MSFT, SET THE PRESCEDENT for future Patent LawSuits. IMO
You might check the Date of the MSFT Settlement with ZPaul, as I've only been around since Mid-Sept.
Littlet David hath take a Rock and Rolled the Giant.
07up/All - READ Completly - Great DD
Good Information awaits as you read on.
And Perhaps a chuckle or two.
I like that part too, 07up, poor MSFT
I'm just now seeing your reply to my Post.
ZPAUL Thanks For posting the Quote from Oct 3rd
If Kay says in his 10/03/10 (I'm sure the year was a typo you meant 16)
Quote to You:
"Here are the patents of which we now own all six with 2 pending.
Then there are 8 and that is what I will take for GOSPEL!
Obviously I was incorrect I thought there were 9 Patents after I had Transcribed the Patent Portion of the video yesterday right after it was placed online.
His use of the word "ALSO" in the video Through my number of patents off by one.
But here's the Transcript, someone may find it Useful.
Wording in (Parenthesis and Green) are mine, stating Kay's wording.
And my interputitation of the word "ALSO"
We have 3 patents for Out of Bandwidth Authentication those are for our product ProtectID were selling of course publicly and constantly.
The other 3 Patents we own are for keystroke encryption which are part of the the GuardID Product as well as leveraged by Mobile Trust, right, so those 3 Patents are part of GuardID.
Remember now last fall last fall we had 8K this is public information that Cyber Safety Inc. did buy an option to buy those patents along with the Products GuardedID and Mobile Trust by Sept 30th 2020 that means by any day by that point can buy those patents, they have the option to buy those Patents actually have to buy those patents by this point.
We still own them today and are obligated not to sell them or go after them at this stage.
SO THAT'S WHERE THOSE PATENTS ARE.
(It sounds like with the last sentence he is finished Discussing those 6 patents. 3 for ProductID and 3 for GuardedID.
We do have 3 Pending patents ALSO.
(He is saying 3 Patents Pending also, I understood ALSO to mean in addition to)
We have two pending patents on Out of Bandwidth Authentication, so those we own and will always own.
And then we have one more Patent thats a Patent Pending Patent on Mobile Trust which is an International Patent which is in process right now.
So that's clear an hopefully you understand that now.
End of Transscript
How I understood it: (Which is Incorrect according to the Quote you recieved OCT 3d.)
SFOR has 3 Patents for ProtectID
SFOR has 3 Patents for GaurdedID (to be purchased by CSI by Sept. 30, 2020)
And 3 other Patents Pending.
Again, Obviously I was incorrect.
Your statement is Incorrect on Patents and misleading.
Your statement is Incorrect on Patents and misleading.
I agree Wholeheartedly.
Exactly !
They Did Not Sell the Heart and Sole, as you stated jpike.
As I've said before the INDUSTRY PRODUCT PROTECTID is the real Bread and Butter, Banks, Healthcare Insurance Providers, Universities, Government. They did not sell the Patents on ProtectID, Write/Call and ask.
If wanted by the Insittution/Customer, they Can Put ProductID behind the Institutions Firewall, No One Else can figure out how to do it. They have Fortune 10 Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 Companies and Banks as Customers in those catagories.
You need to read up on the CTO Ram.
Symantec does not have an Industry Product/Service like PROTECTID either, that keeps be bad guys out of your Network.
Not that I the believe anything close to a $16B market cap figure either.
SOFR is looking for a buyout ASAP when the right Price comes along.
If it happens during this Litigation ( I bet it will) my bet is on DUO being the one.
I would prefer no Buyout until after 2017, The court can hear a dozen or more Patent Lawsuits at the same time.
If you want a quick rise in PPS and then Out, root for a buyout soon.
GuardedID and MAC OS SIERRA Possible Problem
Try clearing Your MAC Cache or including one of the first few fixes in this video uploaded a week ago.
Keep going little Hedge-Energizer-Bunny. I have read the Court Documents of the PhoneFactor hearing, and Which Claims within '599 '698 ''701 were for the Defendant and which were for the Plaintiff.
Read the expert Witnesses testimony from Defendant’s expert,
Avi Rubin and Ph.D. Plaintiff expert, Alan T. Sherman, Ph.D. and seeing him state Definitions from the the IEEE Standard Computer
Dictionary. (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) is a global association and organization of professionals working toward the development, implementation and maintenance of technology-centered products and services.)
I'm fanailiar with when IEEE especially with regards to ADSL or DSL if you prefer. Also use to attend SUPERCOMM 6 years running, the Big Communications EXPO held in Las Vegas and very Familiar with many of the NETWORKING Customers of DUO, like Cisco, F5, Citrix Systems, etc...
The Document is in PDF format and I don't have the Link, but you can't post a link to your information either, so no big deal.
Just some of the wording in the PhoneFactor Case.
Love the terms Prosecution History when construing Claim terms.
Yea ! Pass me a beer and one you and the Gang Too !
LOL
Exactly !
ProtectID is not a Consumer Product, it is for Banks, Corporation's Universities, Gov’t agencies & Social Networking Websites.

THE BEST SFOR INTERVIEW That I have Read.
It may be dated, it is Lengthy and VERY Informative, Full of great Information.
The Best and Most informitive Interview I have Read
ALL Longs No One Has Mentioned This
It was Posted earlier today, since no one commented so I'm Re-Posting.
The Good Stuff
Evening DR. and All. Take take Moment
I must admit all the great speculating this evening has become Intoxicating!
After doing research for about 8 hours today, one of the Gold Nuggets I came across was an Interview that highlighted a lot of information that I have not seen before on SFOR since I began reading the Board in Mid-Sept. Nor have I seen anything in this lengthy Interview posted.
I'm still re-reading for the 4th time and listened to it using a text to voice app "Pocket" and my eyes and ears can't belive all the Great things I heard. Granted it is from 2013, but it is even more powerful than anything I have heard from the Company Previously.
Tomorrow I will Post it. Look for a Post that begins with BEST INTERVIVEW.
You guys will have a field day picking things out and Posting.
This Interview is even more intoxicating than the speculation I've been reading tonight here, as I do like Lot's of Facts.
Keep up the Great Post's fellow SFOR Knights of the Round Table.
Keep diggin, there's Gold in those searches

SFOR is Well Aware of FFIEC WBCTrader.
( Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council )
As well as HIPAA and HiTech and Electronic Protected Healthcare Information (ePHI)
WBCTrader
"It literally has 0 impact on strikeforce".
To think that SFOR is not thinking in the Direction of Regualtions regarding FFIEC and how their Patent's also may play a part in how Current Banking Vendors Products are infriging up their Patents would be absolutely preposterous. ZERO Effect ??
I never implied (to use Your words stinky pinky) would be a Banking Vendor while on the OTC.
Again I say as you should contact Management and inquire about what I have discussed and report back to the board. Or have you already inquired already in the past? As You go back to April 2016 on the SFOR Board. If you do inquire, be sure to message myself so I don't miss the Memo.
Thank you,

The Green Sheet - Lawsuit claims user authentication patent infringement
There were two different Suits ! Phonefactor $9.7M
Microsoft's settlement was hidden in Non-Non-Disclosure.
Not trying to mislead - I did not say SFOR needed to be a Banking
Vendor.
Read what was written, please don't Skim and Post.
Possibly one or more of the current FFIEC regulated financial institutions vendors Currently, is perhaps infringing on SFOR Patents.
Would MSFT had Settled if not found in Violation?
Thank You, but SFOR is already working in pilot Programs s.
WHAT SFOR ORIGINALLY AND LEGALLY REQUESTED FROM MICROSOFT
Due to the Non-Disclosure we don't know what settlement was reached.
But here is what SFOR was Seeking:
Facts Du Jour
SOURCE:
June 15, 2015
The company, according to its complaint, sent a letter to Microsoft’s CEO in October 2012 giving him actual notice of the ‘599 patent. The next month, StrikeForce sent another letter -- this time, to Microsoft’s chief patent counsel -- also giving actual notice of the patent.
StrikeForce contends that in the next year, Microsoft began offering its Windows Azure Multi-Factor Authentication product, with multi-factor authentication apps for Windows Phone, Android and IOS devices.

Just a Few Quotes to Wet Your Whistle :
Rocketman, Basicly with the amount of the Trade being $100K they would prefer you call the trade in, as they prefer to talk to a person and hear from them that they wish to make a trade of such a large Denomination sale.
It seems it's just as a Standard Automatic Message. A trade of that size is a BIG Flag to the broker/trader and they saying hey we don't mind doing the trade for you, we just prefer to talk to the Investor before doing so, as I'm not comfortable making this trade without talking with to the owner first, so it may be sent up the Chain for review. Possibly delaying the Entire Order.
If you owned a stock that was $10 and you accidentally put in an Order to sell for a $1.00 instead of $10.00. Wouldn't you want the Screen to start Flashing Red with a message saying "Are you really sure you want to make this Trade ? "
Tarawa - SFOR AND INTEL CLARIFICATION
Yes Koog' post was out there, kinda not so nice words about SFOR, but the fact is as I have posted 3 times now, And the point I agree with Koog about, as we both see it, SFOR in not working with INTEL the COMPANY, beyond their Product is Certified to work on Intel Processors as are thousands of Programs.
In SFOR's instance it works on INTEL's Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Processor. And is the only Encrypted Keystroke Software that is certified and WORKS DIRECTLY WITH INTEL." Meaning the Chip.
Should you think otherwise (not saying you do, this post is for evryone) please feel free to email Kay to Clarify Further from the Source.
SFOR patented Encrypted Keystroke Technology is Not Built into the Processors Design.
I am the one who first Transcribed George Waller Words and posted them from the Video Link ZPAUL provided.
I did not orginaly offer any intereptitation of the wording but quickly did after I could see some had interpreted the Wording incorrectly and we're getting excited and getting the wrong Idea.
And I quickly Posted ........
Just to clarify :
"It is just in Installed Software wise when it is loaded.
IT IS NOT DESIGNED INTO THE TMP CHIP.
If it were designed into the TMP or INTEL Microprocessor, I would be the happiest guy in the world, right next to many longs here. "
But currently SFOR's Keystroke technology is certified and WORKS DIRECTLY WITH INTEL."
I will say the word "embedding on to the chip" could have been praised better.
But George is the Executive VP Of Marketing! And could be misinterpreted if you are not a person with a Tech background.
Here is the video link again, along with George Waller Statement, which begins just before where George makes the Statement below.
Phoenix I would imagine we really do have different points of View on that Statement I Made "my blood began to flow like rocket fuel through the space shuttle main engines"
In the context I used, it was correct if you undertood anything about the Space Shuttle Main Engine (SME) which I would not expect you to.
Just a couple of Amazing FAQ about the SME, the first was my Statement of Reference:
* If water instead of fuel were pumped by the three Rocketdyne SSMEs, an average family-sized swimming pool could be drained in 25 seconds.
* The maximum equivalent horsepower developed by the three SSMEs is just over 37 Million Horsepower.
* The energy released by three of Rocketdyne’s SSMEs is equivalent to the output of 13 Hoover Dams.
* Although not much larger than an automobile engine, the SSME high-pressure fuel turbopump generates 100 hp for each pound of its weight, while an automobile engine
generates about 0.5 hp for each pound of its weight.
* Even though Rocketdyne’s SSME weighs one-seventh as much as a locomotive engine, its high-pressure fuel pump alone delivers as much horsepower as 28 locomotives, while its high-pressure oxidizer pump delivers the equivalent horsepower of 11 more.

As to having your Children, thank you but no thank you Phoenix, I've had Kidney Stones on and off every few years for decades, the Pain is Equviant to Labor Pains. Pain on and off until they decided to finally pass, hours or days later. The ONLY thing that can Completly Stop the pain is Morphine, well there is a Spinal Tap but not for a Kidney Stones they would not, since there is no child and they can administer Drugs.
If they CIA could find a way to cause a Kidney Stone at a moments notice, there would be no need for Waterboarding or other forms of torture..!
After years of having kidney stones I don't go to the hospital anymore, I keep some Hydrocordon around for if they occur, unlike pregnancy you don't know when and where it will instantly happen again. All the Hydrocordon does is take the Top Sharp Edge off the pain say from a 10 to a 8.5 Should it not pass in 24hrs I will head to the ER as it may be stuck. Luckily I have passed all mine, some folks are not that Lucky.
I once spoke with a Woman who has had both Children and Kidney Stones, she said she would Prefer Labor Pains over Kidney Stone Pain.... If she did not have to raise the kid for 18 years.
Her Perspective came from 20 YEARS AGO when the US society was not into being so Politically Correct.
Of course you know when it comes to Labor Pains, some statements made while being in that much pain can be far from Politically Correct. LOL
I remember when I was in the USAF and I went to the ER, they tried to say they gave me a Pain Shot, stop Compaining. They had given me a shot of Darvon, which for Kidney Stone pain is like giving an aspirin to someone who just lost their Arm.
By the time they got me in a bed, I told the Nurse, LOOK get a F***ing Doctor in here that can authorize a Shot of Morphine, or just get me a knife and I'll cut my throat and the Pain will Stop.
Fortunately most men will never feel that much pain, nor have to endure the Monthly Cycle for 50 or so years.
My sympathies are with you Mom, but you'll Probably admit it was all worth it, at least I hope so.
For those that never had a kidney stone and read this far, Here is a woman in pain, by herself, notice how the pain eases somewhat for a moment, then bam its back. Luckly she had taken a Hydrocordon or she would be rolling , thrashing screaming and cussing a lot more.
