The Cortez Trend: Nevada’s Biggest Gold Field?
http://goldinvestingnews.com/world-class-gold-deposits/the-cortez-trend-nevadas-biggest-gold-field
Consulting geophysicist Hans Rasmussen, who once worked with Newmont on the Carlin Trend, believes there is a strong possibility that the Cortez Structural corridor system may be both older and bigger than the Carlin fault system
As of December 2010, Timberline had acquired mineral prospects for exploration in Nevada, Montana and Idaho mainly for commodities of gold, silver, zinc and copper. The prospects are held by both patented and unpatented mining claims owned directly by the Company or through agreements conveying exploration and development rights to the Company.
Nevada Gold Properties
Nevada Gold Properties consist of South Eureka Property, which comprises 845 unpatented and 15 patented claims and several projects, including Lookout Mountain, Hiero/Syracuse, Windfall Patents, South Ratto, Hoosac/North Amselco and New York Canyon. The South Eureka property is located five miles south and southwest of the town of Eureka, within the southern part of the Eureka mining district of Eureka County, Nevada, within T19N, R53E and unsurveyed T17N and T18N, R53E at the southern end of the Cortez Trend (Battle Mountain/Eureka Trend).
We expect to release an updated NI 43-101 gold resource for Lookout Mountain within the next two weeks, as soon as current metallurgical tests are sufficiently complete, and we are also beginning work on a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) of the project

A lot of buzz around me about TTM.
Chart look strong.
What you think ?
Hanglong, 3 gold mine for 60M$ market cap.
What you think ?

BRD is set to run big time, but it's a 300M$ market cap.
TLR will be there in 2013, now 60M$ market cap.
Who can think that Timberline have 3 Gold mine for 60M$ Market cap ?
Butte highlands (Montana) :
+750.000 once of gold (50% for TLR, projected 25M$ in net revenue for + 10 years)
http://www.timberline-resources.com/main.php?page=122
South Eureka (Nevada) :
+ 1M once of gold (High grade, 100% controled by TLR)
http://www.timberline-resources.com/main.php?page=163
White Rock (Nevada)
http://www.timberline-resources.com/main.php?page=190&press=137
For the record FRG (Nevada) was bought out at 2.2B$ for 5.6M once of gold in the ground.

ANNASR !!!
If you look at page 16 of Timberline's December, 2010 Investor Presentation on its website, you see that Timberline's share of the Estimated Annual Economics @ $1,000 per ounce gold is $17,141,250 at Butte Highlands.
This amount jumps to roughly $30 million dollars at $1,400 gold.
Timberline's current market cap is $66 million and we might make roughly half of that per year for a projected 10 years starting in 2012.
Then you add Lookout Mountain and the drilling subsidiary on top of that and you can quickly make an argument that TLR is very undervalued.
TLR has yet to get any respect for the assets they acquired from Staccato. Paul Dircksen's face lit up like a kid in a candy store when he showed us all the data and maps of the S. Eureka project lands at and surrounding deposits last June in Butte, MN. I got the distinct impression that Dircksen, who is definitely not a piker geo (in fact he has about 8 economic deposits to his credit I know of)... I got the impression that Dircksen believes that the S. Eureka project is a second company-maker for TLR. It's all about the metallurgy and easy access of the minerals, not just the minable grades. After seeing the Butte Highlands project and his obvious love for the S. Eureka, that gave me a great deal of long-term confidence in them. It's one reason I think we were given a gift with the low prices late last year, and a reason I will be on the bid if it gets back to those low levels again. Everyone has to make up their own mind about such things, but that's my own take
MDW IN NOVEMBER, TLR THE 2 MARCH 2011 !!!!
Midway Gold Corp. ("Midway" or the "Company") (MDW:TSX-V; MDW:NYSE-AMEX) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced unit offering. Pursuant to the offering, Midway raised aggregate gross proceeds of US$4 million, through the issue of 6,660,000 units through a brokered offering in Canada and the United States. The units were issued at US$0.60 per unit
BRD, TLR, MGN
Bullish Hammer Pattern. This is a bullish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. However, its reliability is low and it definitely requires confirmation.

All data is currently being compiled, cross-sections are being generated, and grade shells are being constructed to enable Mine Development Associates (MDA) of Reno to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource at Lookout Mountain. Timberline expects to release the updated resource in early March.

Sombody write this :
Just a guess but I think hands had to be greased before TLR is allowed to really take off. The private placement accomplishes that greasing. Should be onwards and upwards once the PP closes.
Make sense to you ?
DETAILS ON TLR
1-The Nevada property need more exploration, because it appear it will reward a lot of upside (+ 1M gold once).
2-S... asset management accept to push 5M$ (After they saw the first N34) at a discount (450MA price of 0.95$)
They've accumulate TLR shares since the 1st February 2011 and will keep the 5M shares as a core holding for the LT.
3-Timberline accept this deal, because they fear an hostile bid (at 2.25$/share), after the release of the N34.
Estimate value of TLR :
150M$ for Montana and Drilling activities + 50M$ (+ 250M$ in 2012-2013 after more exploration)for Nevada = 200M$ NT and 400M$ LT
3.5$/share NT and 6-8$ LT
regarding Paramount Gold's (AMEX: PZG) discovery of high-grade gold and silver intercepts within the Don Ese vein of its San Miguel property, Coeur d'Alene Mines claimed in its earnings report that Paramount crossed over onto Coeur's neighboring mineral concessions while conducting its exploration drilling. Coeur announced its intention to address the matter "aggressively" in order to "defend its property rights."
I think the same.

MARKET WILL DISLIKE IT.....
I love MDW, but please don't rule out TLR !!
Look at the market cap !
Look at the prospect !
I can't figure why the market reward MDW for this news, without any schedule (production)
On the other side, TLR is IGNORE, While we know they will produce end 2011 and are ready to release indepedent analysis of 100% controled Nevada mine.
WHAT A CRAZY WORLD !!!!
International Northair Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:INM - News; the "Company" or "Northair") is pleased to announce assay results from the first two holes of the current Phase II core drill program at the La Cigarra silver project located in north central Mexico. Drill highlights of the program to date include 80.45 meters of 123.5 g/t silver in Hole CC-11-002 at the San Gregorio Zone.
According to the preliminary economic analysis of the Butte Highlands project, once successfully in full production, at a gold price of $600 per ounce, the estimated annual revenue from the project is $51.5-million. Timberline’s 50-percent interest in the project could annually generate an estimated $25.8-million in revenue and $11-million in net income (32 cents per share). At $800 per ounce, the estimated annual revenue from the project is $68.7-million, resulting in an estimated $34.4-million in revenue and $19-million in net income (55 cents per share) to Timberline.
