AzCowboy, do you really feel we'll know something pertaining to escrows by or at the Shareholders Meeting?
Large Green what's your "gut" feeling on diamond's query to you about $8/share for escrows. Higher or lower? How disappointed would you be at $2/share total payout for escrows?
Mr. Mains seems credible with those credentials.
You might be on to a possibility there.
So if common escrows does get some payment, with the latest information available, which of these figures seems more likely? $1/share, $3/share, $5/share or $10/share.
Does Nate Thoma likely have escrow shares?
Some loyal escrow holders are in the "aren't getting any younger" category. They needed to be rewarded for their patience while they are still young enough to enjoy it. Why wasn't this more of a consideration in the escrow settlement?
Boris the Spider, how much value does "1 posit" have to common escrow shareholders? Is it the total number of escrows a shareholder has X 1 ?
So a "POSIT" or "one par" is the amount of escrows a shareholder has? Does that apply to the amount of WAMU common escrows as well?
Large Green, please answer two questions. What exactly is a "Posit" and you posted "would let them have this money". Who is/are "them"?
Would $27 billion with all the factors involved possibly leave escrows with at least $3 per escrow share?
LG, Willingham would likely appreciate at least $1 an escrow share for his efforts wouldn't you think?
So does Willingham now have 199,657 escrow shares?
LG, I'm sorry but I just can't figure out what you meant by, "More like a "multiple par" IMHO!" Please briefly elaborate. I really value your opinion on this matter. Thanks.
LG, "multiple par" = ? Please elaborate.
LG, IYO, what % chance do the Escrow shares have to be worth a minimum of $5/share eventually?
LG, IYO, what % chance do the Escrow shares have to be worth a minimum of $5/share eventually?
LG, I had the Washington Mutual common shares (not the preferred) that I submitted. Do I have the same amount of Escrow shares as the amount of WM common shares that I submitted for escrow?
LG or anybody, are the number of Washington Mutual shares that I submitted for escrow the same quantity of Washington Mutual Escrow shares that I have now?
Message 397728 "Tax Question". Would someone plesee address this? Thanks.
Isn't a $5 share price needed to be a candidate for NASDAQ?
Will this deal get CNBC and Bloomberg coverage today?
Why should we approve the "compensation of WMI Holdings Corp.'s named executive officers"? What do we base this on?
Great questions for the WMIH BOD suggested by katchin_on on the yahoo MB,
"Shareholders should demand concrete answers from the BOD at the shareholder meeting:
1. Are there any plans to use the NOLs or are they worthless?
2. Does the BOD have any business plans, if so what are they?
3. Wmih burnt through $15million of it's initial $77million leaving it with just $62million left. Where did that money go?
4. Why has management kept shareholders in the dark for the last year, not a peep about Wmih's status.
5. Wmih's reinsurance business is in the 'runoff' mode. Is there anyway that Wmih profits from WMMRC?
6. Are there any real 'hidden assets' in Wmih's assets?
7. Why does the BOD/management feel that they should receive such large compensation packages? What have they accomplished to deserve such high pay?
8. Ask any other necessary questions at the meeting, while you've got the chance. After the meeting, BOD/management may go back into hibernation for another year."
Large Green, is March 13 a key deadline?
excel, why do you feel RSMI is still trading? Do you feel the company may still try to produce a product? Why else would they still trade?
Why IS "the company is still breathing even shallowly"? Any theories?
goldrusher, you seem to have a good "grasp" as to what "went down" with RSMI. You could provide a lot of information to any agency interested in pursuing this.
Complaints can be filed at https://www.sos.mo.gov/securities/complaint/default.asp
If this was an intentional "scam", how are the perpetrators staying out of jail?
Why is RSMI still trading? What went wrong with RSMI and it's technology? Is there still any hope for recovery? Has anybody heard from Ray W. lately?
WithCatz, I agree, so drop the Susman dig, ok?
I'm not convinced that representing WAMUQ shareholders was very high on Susman's personal priority list. What do think WithCatz? Anybody else feel Susman did all he could for WAMUQ shareholders? I backed off on my earlier criticism of Susman's court hearing absenteeism when Folse "stepped up to the plate" I still would have liked to have seen Susman and Folse "double team" the powerful adversaries in some crucial court hearings.
Obviously, WMIH needs some positive news to get the share price really moving. Any kind of decent guidance would help. This "quiet period" doesn't give investors much confidence, does it? Too much uncertainty. And the market doesn't tend to like uncertainty.
Hopefully, WMIH has a competent PR firm ready to promote this "bright future".
That has me concerned, too.
It sure looks like there is some speculative interest in WMIH. If not, how else can today's price action be interpreted?
How does today's price action compare to most IPO's? Don't most IPO's get more promotion?
This is really vulnerable to shorting until some guidance is delivered.
Hopefully, today's share price is no indication of the true value of the company. Now and, especially, in the future. The uncertainty is probably a huge factor in why the share price opened so low.
