Niocorp 1y Target Est $1.20[/b](Yahoo Finance)- Presumably this factors in a financing?
But with all the possible variables of the financing, ie., Percentage of financing comprised of Debt, Pct. of financing comprised of Equity, phased approach to financing, etc. etc....
I wonder what type of financing was factored into that $1.20 Target Estimate??
thanks Spunkmeyer for your input.
AO- Thanks much for that detailed reply, very much appreciated. I would agree we probably don't (as you suggest) have a good apples to apples comparison, with those other mine stories being significantly different lifecycle(s); I was just thinking that we could get a comparison on like industry peer companies' SP directly after they got financing and started building out their mine(s), but i see what you mean.
Thanks again!
NCT
Thanks AO, I'm more interested in what the SP does directly following the Financing announcement, while i do realize it's virtually impossible to predict, was just wondering, based on those other mining companies you listed, is there anything to glean from what their stock price did after their financing and before the mine went operational (during buildout)??
This has been asked many different times/ways in the past, but since it appears the financing may be pending (fingers crossed) just want to revisit this and get yours/others feedback....
Thanks!
NCT
Very well stated AO !
I can't wait!!
Yowzerrrrrr......
Magic Man... you are a master of the obvious sir. And you are correct, it is not rocket science, because if it was you would be nowhere in site... DUH!!
Thanks Double D- good points all!
It seems suprising that Largo is trading so low ($1.29) being that it is in full production and sounds like (listening to Mark in video) Largo is cranking out on all cylinders and paid most of their debt down...
now contrast that with NIOCORP, even if/when NIO gets the financing, it is 3 yrs from production and 1.2B in the red...... so please remind me why we think NIO is going to trade significantly higher when Financing is announced??? I hear many on the board touting the 'Big F' as the 2nd coming, or the trigger to open the flood gates of SP increase! Just to play the contrarian for a moment- It may be a case where people might be dissapointed by the slight rise in stock after Financing announced, and a flat line SP UNTIL the mine is operational...... I sure HOPE this is not the case, but with no revenue generation for 3 yrs. (until mine is built and becomes operational), it seems somewhat inconceivable that we could sustain a hefty share price, what (fundamental(s) would this hefty SP be based on ?? I could be way off here, if so, please provide feedback/ guidance-
Thanks in advance..

Completely agree with you Boilermaker, the question is how long will it take for the SP to get to $5? 6 months? 1 yr? or maybe very quickly post F news?
Like MNGA suggested, hopefully after the financing news, the retail investors that have been here forever that cash out, will be REPLACED by Institutional investors very SOON thereafter to get the SP where it should fundamentally be. I just wonder where the SP will be right after the F news? and a few months after the F news? don't want to beat this dead horse again, but just fodder - while we wait....

Hopefully just the calm before the storm.......
Not a creature was stirring, not even Kmack daddy....... :)
This could be a very BIG Week...... fingers crossed....
NCT
What is their monthly burn rate? wondering how long $125K will keep them going from the 16th of Aug....
NCT
I'll raise a toast to that! ...... brrrrrrrpppppppp
not a creature was stirring... not even a mouse... at the STOCK HOUSE
the msg. board is a morgue today... everyone must be out enjoying the nice weather and not obsessing on the 'Big F' that is sure to happen next week, or the week after, or next month.... or next quarter, or next year... OR......... Yeah! it's a sure thing don't worry! :) hehe hehe.... just a bit of levity... to break up the monotony....
and the beat goes on....
and on....
and on....

Giddddddyuppppppp....
Thanks for that very lucid explanation Boilermaker!
Thanks Landmark, yes that is what i was referring to but could not remeber where saw it.....
Forgive me for any redundundancy here but wasnt it hashed out before (i believe on other higher level fed permits) that the air qual permit and/or variance is not a prerequisite for finance approval. Granted, the finance institutions would optimally like to have all permits/studies etc... done and wrapped up.... but didn't Jim respond to that question awhile ago? of course i could be cornfewzing things here......
NCT
Thanks to all who posted the thoughtful replies to my- "Where do we think we are going to be post F".... appreciate your input.

I know it's been said many times by many folks here..... The 'Big F' is the holy grail/long pole in the tent/the big trigger/catalyst, yada yada....
But i just can't help but wonder if the Financing is almost already somewhat expected and almost a foregone conclusion... i mean with everything lined up, all the logistical work done, permits (not counting the air qual permit) and the managment saying that we are in the last lap and just doing a background KYC ...... SO, i would hate to think that we are Still trading so low, even with the impending Financing news somewhere in the near future.
As such, I am still wondering how much of a kick/bump the financing news will actually give the SP.. interested to hear different perspectives unless we have already beat this dead horse to a pulp :( but this close to Financing PR (fingers crossed) do we think the F will catapult us into the $2 or better range?? i know i know....all of this is conjecture... but good banter is useful.... and i always enjoy reading the posts of many of the Longs who have a good 'pulse' on things.....
Thanks in Advance-

NCalTommy (recovering from 4th)... :)
can probably just catch up with Trump on Twitter! :)
Thanks Boilermaker! best of luck to you sir....
Thanks Double D! appreciate that follow up.... agree, lots of potential here for patient/enlightened investors. Good luck to you my new mentor/friend! :)
ok I'll try to live up to that..... there are some big shoes to fill in here... :)
Thank you Putz! I will indebted to you and now i will take my place in the back of the room and not raise it again until called on to speak... hey, maybe #1 is a relative of mine? Actually, i'm sensing some 'inuendo' or hidden messaging in being referred to as #2!! haha..... just trying to find levity here... and paying reverence as well.... in the words of the inimitable Rodney King during the LA/Watts riots - "Can't we all just get along".. :) Good day mon ami...
NorCalTommy
Very helpful, thank you MaxZMillionz! much more civil and cordial a response......
Yes Sir Double D, I'll get on that right away..... take a deep breath and exhale.... you'll be fine!
Nah..... just wanted to get some input on the projected SP behavior of a mining stock.... don't want to jinx anything here! :)
Greenhorn New Investor here..... My maiden voyage on the IHub MB- Be Gentle... all of you tenured, grizzly Salty Dawgs!!
Here is what i am wondering: after financing is announced (hopefully VERY SOON), do you think the stock SP
a.) takes off like a rocket
b.) starts to move north, but incrementally and not meteorically
c.) starts moving and then after a few days picks up massive steam/momentum when big fish/investors get wind of this gem
d.) who the F knows?
Also, what is best guess on where the stock (SO) moves up to- directly following the announcement? then where is SP after 1 week?
Of course this is all just speculation, but i have a suspicion that there are some experienced folks here who have seen something similar in this type of mining stock and the associated price movement (following cataclysmic events, i.e., financing announcement)....
Just wondering, and trying to get some input....
