Oh yeah, I'm also loking forward to it. Gotta see what's it all about. I just googled it and it seems that a lot of people are unhappy with screen resolution though. They say it's too small compared to other VRs. But the image is great nontheless.
HOLOLENS is Microsoft's VR tech, right? If it is so, then I'm hyped.
Have they announce the price yet?
That's right and it brought some issues as well.
Oh, that thing. I know it happened to a lot of people who struggled with 10, lol. There's an option you can uncheck, as far as I know. You do that and your system will not donwload anything before asking you first. It's pretty handy, look it up.
It doesn't seem like a type of thing that needs an answer from competitors. It's basically a step back. Selling the same phone all over again, BUT SMALLER. Come on now.
Couple of times. Did they ever win though? That's the question you should be asking :)
Did they make any official statement as to whether they increase dividends as some people are speculating?
Isn't today a day off though? Can't seem to buy MSFT shares today for some reason. Chart's all grey as well.
Well, that was quick. I am curious what made you change your mind about it though?
what exactly is bothering you in MSFT's latest OS? From my experience it's the same as 8.1 was only faster and better in every way. Plux, DX12 tech if you're into gaming. MSFT's doing a good job, no idea why people hatin' on it.
I've heard a lo of rumours about that but no real official confirmation. So I kinda doubt it. Shame though.
It's never a bloodbath for people who play short terms. You can always buy it again a little bit more expensive and sell again a cople of weeks later for even bigger profits. That's why I like it, actually.
Woah, so you can build shit yourself with a help of VR? Man, that's cool. I'm looking forward some new info about this.
Well, a couple of previous Apple events did not. It felt like an average day. Maybe like 1% up but that's it.
That's good news. They was so undervalued lately I thought this moment would never come. They still are, but at least these are good signs for the company.
Events like this does not even bump the stock anymore. We'll see though.
Pretty much like any other stock does? What's confusing you, exactly?
what are they going to present?
590++ is not expected but that does not stop the dream from becoming a reality. The Amazon draw is huge now guys! Play smart along the path..
Xamarin is one of the most important Microsoft acquisition these days.
Finally breached 100. Glad it happened. Was waiting for it for a long time now.
I think that AMD is going to stay in business because it benefits Intel to say that they have competition. As a long term Intel shareholder, I have noticed that Intel refuses to completely kill AMD. I think AMD will continue to operate on the fringes of the market, and will not go bankrupt. So I bought more today around $1.88. I could see why it is in Microsoft's best interest to keep AMD going - and if they saw any promise, I would not be surprised if they either bought AMD or invested in them, in the same way that they invested in Apple when everyone thought they were going bankrupt. So yes, I do think that AMD will see $3-4, either due to a buyout or some form of turnaround.
The pricing on items in the Pantry section of Amazon are all over the map. You really have to know what you are buying and how much it should cost. Many of these items are way over priced.
Bezos ought to find a personal residence where satellite and expensive cellular is the only connect and mail is a long hoof to the mailbox and then see if his Prime service actually reaches the customer at the end of the road as an alternative to WalMart where most local service is located.
Google's search now holds more than 95% share compared to Microsoft's Bing and Yahoo. This is sick.
Why does Apple still have over 10 P/E? I tend to avoid companies in decline but it would seem a company that is declining this quickly would have a much lower multiple.
I keep hearing more and more arguments like this every day. I wonder if it will enetually affect the sales. Maybe even this year.
Whether or not Apple is building a car, they are definitely building something automotive related. They already have CarPlay for the infotainment stack, so an autonomous driving application is certainly possible, but not guaranteed. Remember, Apple rarely brings out an all-new technology, rather they take already-existing technologies and show how they're supposed to work. I think Tesla has the lead in real-world autonomy right now considering how slowly the Google Car has to drive just to be safe.
Apple in not in the innovation business, they are in the cult business. Their main skill has always been to create a cult-like following and they keep most of their customers because of their ecosystem.
One problem with the double the dividend recommendation is that it works against the buyback scenario. Sure, it would stabilize the share price at a much higher level. But Apple has to be careful not to overdo the dividend hike.
MS Azure is probably going to be a huge money maker. Planning on buying the stock and enjoying the dividend bonus.
Right now AAPL is enormously profitable and growing. The PE ratio is under 10 which is what one would expect from a regulated utility stock.
I will add that if Apple iPhone margins are so large, then Samsung must be able to make their phones even cheaper and should be enormously profitable even with a cheaper average price.
At this point I think Alphabet's goal of become the next/dethroning Berkshire Hathaway
This stock seems is a bust, feel like giving up on in for last couple of weeks.
AMZN is a great trade at these levels -- below $500/share -- with a potential upside of $150 to $200 off its current level
Guys, does Google still make smartphones or they've given up on Nexus?
TC has already mentioned they have an excess of funds beyond what they need to run the business. That excess should be returned to shareholders.
I think Jeff Bezos is trying to figure out ways to cut UPS out of their business.
