Agree,Look at the cheap nyse/nasdaq well known beaten down companies that will survive.Much easier money.Bob :))
Looks like new holders are getting it you know where also.
Disturbed~
Shine Down~Second Chance~
Fantastic and agree 100%.Watch for many past good posters that are now paid promoters.Click on their Dollar sign in their profile. It is becoming common.Bob :))
Hey girl,And what is your retail experience either as a investor or working in the industry?Any pimp can start a board.lol
Still penney cheap in regards to two year highs. When the economy turns or stabilizes another double.Banks have to loosen lending also.I could talk for hours about retail.
Hmmm to you!!If you know any good retail investors that know the industry and start a retail only board I will help out. Here are the stocks I posted about 6/7 weeks ago since you do not want to search my posts.Look at the historical prices then and now.Pei~cbl~grt~grt~ddr and ggp which ran from .60 to 1.36 and then filed bk.Still higher than when I posted even after a bk filing.Bont~psun and ebhi are the others. Many I know both on and off ihub made a killing.I don't pump out stocks every week.
Not enough time.I wanted to start a retail/developer board as now is the time to start looking/watching/trading.I decided not to because my multiple location retail biz just keeps me toooo busy. When I am not in a mall.I am researching stocks both technically and fundamentally.I will always contribute and you could put the info in the ibox.Been in retail over 15 years and know the industry along with many key people.I do not get insider info.I do get info on what companies are doing to help the bottom line that the companies do not PR until the q's come out.The Peter Lynch philosophy.
Scott Galloway was added to the board at the lenders request:http://www.firebrandpartners.com/home.html
Based on mkt cap more than that for the short term.I did more comparison dd on others in the retail sector with problems.I like to look at the worst case scenarios.Developers doing great again. If investors bought and held my list from a few weeks ago they would have doubled/tripled their money.Psun is basically a double now also.
My opinion is stay away from what I see.Toooo easy to get burned. Can't get out of the situation either if you buy a large position. Not enough volume and the bid will keep dropping as it apparently has recently.I know the metals/mining stocks well and the games some ceos play. Many better options out their at this time.
I am thinking the same thing. Not great but better than expected. The cuts implemented 1st q were not for the full quarter but will definitely help the bottom line.January Pr's:

1.79 TO .70 on low volume.Any possibility of dilutuion on a thinly traded company could lead to a disasterous trade.Looks like it already has for some. Not my cup of tea for sure.
Yep,Also ebhi knocking on the 50 rsi for next week with lots of room if we break it.
Trading well today our little eddie.lol
Yea,These days if lose a billion instead of 1.2 its a good thing.Too funny
The experience of the two board members added at the lenders request says it all along with the Firebrand statement.
Watching the movement today.I noticed a little while ago their was 125k on the ask. When it showed up some small traders sold. They dropped the bid under .40 and then we blasted through the .41 seller like a knife through butter.Trying for a new daily high now.Have a great weekend.Bob :))
Love the way its trading today. When we get a few bidwackers it bounces right back.Nice pattern.
Glassy,You Have that Grand Slam breakfast on your mind again.lol

Held the gains today. For a Friday I would be happy to hold higher highs and higher lows from today.Bob :))
I want it hold some of the gains like today.Bob :))
The after hours filing yesterday was my reason and then I looked at the chart.HeHe
Lifes good for today.Had a rough stretch last fall with biz.Holidays came out good and I also hooked up with Nbc "The office" retail ops along with Barnes&Noble "calendar club".Been doing fantastic trading the mall developers the last two months.Very predictable swings in pei/ddr/cbl and grt.Ggp was easy also until they filed bk.The beaten down retailers have also been treating me well.I have been trading the sector because I know it like the back of my hand.Good year so far.Takin it day by day.Gonna be taken some action on the yanks this weekend.Have a friend that is a big Sox fan.Joba starts Friday.lol Bob :))
Nice chart SA.Your baby yanks been smokin.Hughes 3-0.
Hey Bully,Besides a great chart read some of my investigative work. The additions of the two board members at the lenders request speaks volumes.Bob :))
Nice move Glassy.I would have bet the house ebhi would be green today based on yesterdays news/filings.Now lets just go to the 200dma(2.36)and I wrap it up for the year(lol).Nah need the action.Lets start with the bunched up indicators in the .55 range.Held well today.I did watch the close and it was going to close at the high of the day at .38.Then someone wacked it down to .36 and it closed at .37.Then we had som afterhours buying at .38 and closed .40.Bob :))
Agree 100%.Nothing on any exchange is a long term hold.Damn my best performers this year are mall reits/developers.Trading the wide swings.I know
Good evening tm,Definitely two interesting business people appointed to the board.I also talked to some Bauer management employees today. They are very happy with the ceo and that they finally started discounting/running sale after xmas. The consumer needs to see a sale attached to their purchase. The companies like aero and american eagle started last year. The ones like pac sun and eddie are now playing catch up.I think we could throw pir in that category also as far as waking up.Bk does not seen to be a concern now to store level management with yesterdays news.If you read the news back to late January. They are now doing the right things.Salary reduction~Cutting higher paid employees etc.Market cap is extremely low also.I don't have a crystal ball but the company is moving in the right direction imo.
HeHe,Is that Sanchez in your replies?Should go 1st round.Anyone here look at wave?Been busy with my biz this week and have only been playing psun and ebhi.I wish I had more time as my swinging mall developers are easy traders.pei/cbl/ddr and grt.Bob :))
Now this is Golden from Obamas card changes.Last paragraph of previous article.Banks say the tighter rules for card issuers would hurt fee income when they are trying to climb out of a financial hole created by the collapse of the housing boom.Amazing but not surprised.
and the margaritas......Whoops just walked into a wall.Damn
I always bring the alcohol. Its on the house and I am the house.lol Nice board.Bob :))
Whats up tm,Found the info on Comstock yesterday and was happy with his experience.Found the right Galloway.Take note of the part of this article about Galloway and Firebrand.Eddie Bauer board gets two new members representing lenders

Bellevue-based Eddie Bauer said Wednesday its board of directors has taken on two new members as part of a recent agreement with lenders.
The new members are Jerry Comstock, head of Strategic Restaurants Acquisition, and Scott Galloway, founder of Firebrand Partners, a private investment firm.
Both additions were proposed by a group of hedge funds and other financial companies that hold a $225 million term loan, of which $193 million is outstanding.
Earlier this month, Eddie Bauer agreed to the additions, as well as a substantial increase in interest rates and warrants for its common stock, in return for new financial covenants CEO Neil Fiske said would give the outdoor-apparel company much-needed breathing room.
Comstock's San Ramon, Calif.-based company is an affiliate of Cerberus, the private-equity firm that bought Chrysler in 2007.
Galloway, who teaches brand strategy at New York University's business school, also is a board member for The New York Times Co., a position he has held for the past year.
His Firebrand firm targets publicly traded, consumer-oriented companies with a brand it believes is bigger than its stock price. "We then acquire a strategic block of equity and begin a dialogue with management," Firebrand says on its Web site.
Eddie Bauer's board now has grown to 12 members, though it will drop to seven after the annual shareholder meeting May 8.
To make room for the two new board members, John Brouillard and Laurie Shahon will not stand for re-election, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Both have been on the board since Eddie Bauer emerged from the Spiegel bankruptcy as an independent company in 2005.
As previously announced, Eddie Bauer is reducing the size of its board to cut costs. As a result, three board members already said they would not stand for re-election.
Shares of Eddie Bauer closed up 2 cents, or 7.6 percent, at 29 cents. It has a market capitalization of $8.94 million.
A Party board.Have to stop by here more.lol
HeHe,I used to play afterhours when it first started.Remember the volume in the good old days afterhours when shit turned to Gold.lol
