Tomorrow we start anew. Discussing the potentials of LQMT mixed with some nicely found DD.
Where could it wind up?? Racing Cars, Surgical Tools, Door Hinges for the first Teleportation Capsules, on and on...its just limitless.
And when Apple/Materion discover how to make big sheets of the stuff, well, that's when we all
meet our destiny with a $10 stock.
Snidlely, I know we have to keep this on topic of LQMT...but to just say "I doubt it" when someone comes up with a possibility is not a "reality check". APPLE has fooled many. Even the so called "greatest investors". There are many avenues of possibilities now. To "what if" is fine about the possibilities. To come and squash anyones idea with a "I doubt it" with no justification is just sour grapes. That's whats offered on YAHOO...
No Snidely, its in the agreement that APPLE cant just keep the technology off the market, they MUST be actively developing uses. Wouldn't your extreme negativity be better served on Yahoo Board?? Just a thought.
Okay...so if the process is licensed, does that mean all new type moulding machines??? Will Materion make them?? And possibly is materion making them now??? Geeze..the plot thickens.....and if they want to license the process, what would be the benefit of that instead of just making it themselves..and who would be making the machines for Glassimetal?? This is getting juicy....
even though I may wind up with moths in my LQMT account.
So, if Glassimetals takes the company public, where does that leave LQMT?? Is the Moulding Process of Glassimetals patented to the extent that LQMT can't come close to the same process??? Then where does that leave us??? I'm curious to the answer because if its very negative to LQMT, then that should have been the focus of the discussions..not the apple connection.
From what I just read on Glassimetals...its ability to be moulded in what looks like much larger parts
and at extreme high heat, but also cheap to make?? Does the LQMT product have anything to it that exceeds the benefits of Glassimetals?? It seems the "owners" of Glassimetals have the moulding process figured out for larger pieces.
Yes, but we don't know what other configurations of Liquid Metal they may be testing. With different properties. I guess that would show up in a patent submission. I'm not sure what other patents they have in the pipeline. All sorts of juicy things we can all speculate about... Or even APPLE..who knows what they may be doing in experimenting with different components to the LIquid Metal. Nor am I sure if LQMT would be part of any of it, or would it be an orphan left on the curb. I"m glad I invested what I did, I'm glad I didn't invest anymore. I'm at the point where I'm interested in its progress but I'm not obsessed with it.
well, since the APPLE scenario has been TEMPORARILY PUT ON HOLD...perhaps we can spend months speculating on just what car part would be the most logical to produce..to get the biggest bang for the buck as far as PR for the auto industry. "Let us Begin".
Well, if they go to all the trouble of making a part for a race car, it seems to me it would be in an area where a "super metal" would be beneficial to the car industry. And the race car would be their "selling/test case", to get the auto industry interested. Its really the perfect scenario. "Yes, we tested it on our race cars...and it...etc etc etc." What a perfect selling point.
Please don't watch this penny stock through the day. Life is too precious. You know they are working on projects, you know the APPLE connection didn't happen. There is nothing to see here and probably won't be for some time. And those that are frustrated...please hit your head against a wall, instead of posting extreme generalized negativity. Jimmy...thanks for that list. Its truthful, Its not over the top.
Its not "hype". You all invested in a penny stock for the HUGE possible returns. That's why people invest in penny stocks. This one has some meat to it. I'm waiting for July 2013. Its a psychological
mile stone. I'm not looking for anything to happen until then. It makes things much less stressful. And if this goes down the tubes, there will still be good food on my table. I'll still enjoy the simple things in Florida, and if it goes to$10, I'll be thrilled, but at my age, its not going to change much in my lifestyle.
GOOD LUCK.
I feel relieved that the APPLE issue is over. We all knew LQMT would not get anything with it, except notoriety. No revenues.. We still have the extended contract. We have "munitions" that are looking very interesting. We have increased sales force by Materion. And other elements that make this an interesting investment. One you can put on the back burners, check IHUB each day to see what's happening, and hope for the best. Although now, my "wishes" for LQMT have been lowered somewhat..I'd be happy with $1 PPS....time changes many things, including our dreams.
Jimmy I agree. Apple would have been a "none event", because all we would have gotten is some "PR".
Now the slate is clean and the focus is on what will truly benefit the company. Great post in all aspects.
I agree...the Munitions possibility could be HUGE. And seems likely. And APPLE is known to NOT put out all its apples at one time. They will put enough out to keep up and ahead of the competition, They will hold back some so they can keep pumping out next generation "whatever" and the APPLE FANATICS will buy again...needing to know they have the latest and greatest. My horizon is Mid 2013.
I suggest everyone put such a horizon also..so the little disappointments won't hurt so much.
Good luck.
Certainly seems like such a system, considering what our troops are doing now, would be close to the top of the list for full scale development.
Well, one positive note. We won't have to read post after post on speculation on the IPHONE 5.
That should cut down on the submissions considerably. But now I will be interested in the DD in other areas of LQMT's potential. Its almost a relief to have the APPLE situation behind us.
After all the posts for the last few months saying even if Liquid Metal is in APPLE PHONE, it won't have any revenue effect, and also so many saying...there probably won't be any LQM in the phone....now
it seems everyone was depending on it today. And I'm also seeing posters I haven't seen before coming in and encouraging others to dump the stock. Posts were made over and over, that its not APPLE that is important..its the "other" areas that LQMT can make product in. I'm holding into next year...Not for another IPHONE..but to see what other endeavors may be in the making...
So I guess we can assume those mold machines are for something else??? And then we have the two year extended contract with APPLE??? Hey, if it hits $5, I'm a millionaire. My lifestyle isn't going to change by keeping LQMT. I'm done with playing the markets on short term trades. I'm enjoying life outside of the market, finally. And I wont go back.
Oh Well, July 2013 for me. That's my "wait without insanity" schedule for this stock.
I agree with that too. Yes, there are technical difficulties with larger pieces but its not rocket science,
we're not trying fusion. Its a way to cool down a specific metal in larger pieces. Wouldn't it be strange if dipping it into a glass of ice water was the solution?? lol.
can you imagine what coated aluminum would look like after 6 months use??? what they have now would be better. Nothing makes sense but LQMT...
And since aluminum is out...what's left?? the metal they've been spending tens of millions to develop??
seems so rational. $$$$
HAVE To agree. Part of the agreement is that APPLE cant try to keep the LQMT off the market, they MUST be working to put it into their products. If they don't...LQMT is released from the agreement and competition can come in. So you know APPLE must be furiously working to get something out.
Relax everyone. Expect nothing and rejoice if we get something during the APPLE unveiling.
We are here (most) for the future prospects of LQMT, not for what APPLE is going to do today.
But it sure would be nice. I've taken a fatalist attitude. The "Lucy is going to pull the ball away again".
Then anything good is just gravy.
I have my goal at July 2013. That would give me a year of holding LQMT, and of course the much lower long term capital gains tax. Its much less stressful looking at it that way, and added to it, greater prospects during that time. I'll read the IHUB posts, but telling myself I'm "long term" holder (in regards to Capital Gains), helps.
Do you have a date on his announcement??? This has been discussed MANY weeks ago, with the conclusion that he is so out of the loop now, its not likely he knows anything about what's "in" the IPHONE5.
WOW...great DD everyone..on the munitions. I was down in the dumps a little this morning...with doubt...this certainly lifts the spirits. (I know this added nothing to the discussion. ).
Well, no reply. I'm not a member, so I couldn't do a "search" for posts on patents, and sorry, but
what I did know seems to have gotten lost in my mind with all the other DD that has been going on.
So, that only leaves me to say..."Happy Holiday" and I'll now slink back into the Matrix and hope for the best on LQMT.
Hello, This is my first post. I won't be posting much. Maybe just a "Happy Holidays", or, "Today is my birthday and Im not happy about it". Thanks for all the DD. I've been a reader for quite some time.
My question, and sorry if its already been discussed. It was my understanding that the "prime/basic" Patent for the alloy was going to run out this year. And some said that would be a "game changer" perhaps not in the good sense. Do we know if LQMT has other patents that will continue?? Or are we at the point where anyone can make the ingots and possibly the molding machines. Where is our protection to stay in the game?? Thanks...now I will go back to watching. Sorry if this has been beaten to death. If so, can you direct me to posts discussing it??
