Love it~! Keep posting that beautiful chart Drugdoc.
Elite Pharmaceuticals building a diverse product portfolio like nobody's business.
Business 101, build it and revenue will come.... along with a potential buyout. >
Doc, could you please school us on what emerging regulatory trends Elite did not follow?
TIA buddy.
Now they have to prove the IV route benefit since many others are failing here to prevent abuse. More and more hurdles. Constant cat and mouse chase.
Nice.... another ANDA, and an antibiotic at that. More of that basket getting filled.
OxyContin prices went up 9.5% as of the first of this year.
Purdue wants to make more serious money before their market begins to shrink.
Purdue is the main component in making this prescription opioid crisis
happen, and they have the gall to raise prices on their formulation.
Well I guess the administration that said they would reduce the price of prescription drugs really isn't doing much at all. Too focused on getting money for that wall. LMAO~!
Meanwhile Elite's ADF is going through more hoops than Purdue's formulation ever did. Money talks people. Especially in Sacklerville.
They will be aware of Elite, and probably already are aware on just Elite's ADF platform.
candidates for investigation as neuro-restorative treatments for Parkinson's disease
Zebra fish study is interesting as is the yellow bellied sap sucker studies now being done for maple syrup addiction. The wonders of science.
Thanks Drug Doc. Nice. Real nice.
Your post is with great observations. Thanks for the input.
This is the worst December stock market plunge since December 1931 during the Great Depression. Has noting to do with Elite or any pharmaceuticals trying to manipulate Elite to hold it down. People are just bailing from stocks in wake of all of the turmoil.
SequestOx will not do anything for addiction. What it will do is prevent the abuse of prescription opioids by preventing snorting, smoking, or injection which may be the leading contributor of death to the abuser.
Yeah right. So available to the public at large not one can be listed.
Must be secret stuff. LMMFAO~!!
Please do then...….
waiting.
The ADF platform will be part of Elite's portfolio.
Prescription opioids are here to stay for the time being.
Could you list them please? TIA
Lots of alternatives to opioids already developed and more on the way
they know they should've sold
my hopes now lie with the billion dollar products that may be coming unrelated to opioids
Probably a repeat on 60 minutes about the prescription opioid crisis. Pharmaceuticals and distributors of prescription opioids may be the next big tobacco. Mike Moore going after manufacturers and distributors or prescription opioids.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/opioid-crisis-attorney-mike-moore-takes-on-manufacturers-and-distributors-at-the-center-of-the-epidemic-60-minutes/
abuse opioids in order to become dependent
With opioids there is no such thing a non addictive. This is totally a non issue until something non addictive non opioid comes out.
If something like a non opioid non addictive formulation does come to fruition it will probably have required tons of money to formulate which will more than likely make it much more expensive than opioids.
Opioids will be around for a long time to come. JMO.
All opioids are addictive. Cannot get around that unless one goes to a non-opioid for pain relief. Opioids are still the choice for pain management. have been for over a century and probably will still be until a viable alternative comes to be.
ADFs will only prevent abuse of the opioid API. They will not prevent addiction.
With that said, there is still a need for opioids. Better to have one that is ADF, like Elite's, than to have one that abuse resistant and easily defeated.
Addiction...…. will not be able to get around that. It is what it is.
Both of you, Nasdaq and Ama, are IMO very close to the answer.
Elite should have most of it's baskets (revenue wise) going at that point.
Epic kind of screwed up in not one, but many ways.
Elite will have Glenmark, SunGen, and who knows who else.
Buy those ground floor seats while you can. The train is leaving the station.
drugdoc keep us posted. Always good to read your take. After all you are the expert in this area.
Which top selling drugs does Elite own?
What if Isradipine results for PD are better than expected? From a generic that only gave a few million at best to a possible extension of life for those with Parkinson's.
Anyone hear of how that NIH study went? Chime in.
Only Elite and Teva and Teva currently having issues.
You hit it Ryan. Revenue revenue revenue is what will start to drive this
stock up up up.
Thank you for the heads up rocioyogi~!
Generic Adderal will mean at least $10-15 million/year to revenues for starters. Very conservative.
When Elite gets all of its baskets filling the sell price will be minimum mid teens. That is with the ADF platform approved and moving forward.
All IMHO. Purdue pay for play needs to stop and the current FDA head needs to get serious about the prescription opioid crisis or resign. This administration has done nothing so far to stem this crisis other than give states money for rehab. First Elite has to get through new bar set by this FDA head.
As I stated before, buyout price, will all depend on NH and the BoD.
Gman, good to hear.
"Jimmy, just having a little fun with it. I’ll sell when Nasrat does."
Same with me. When NH sells that's when I sell and move on.
Gman with all due respect, Even if BMS were to "sweeten the pot for an Elite buyout NH and the BoD would hold out.
Still no approvals/launches of Elite/SunGen drugs yet. NH is not going to sell Elite and hope to get a dollar or 2 when so much more is coming to Elite in pipeline form.
Patience...….. it's coming, but not so soon as you and others may wish.
the price will be plenty good when it happens.
Gman, 8 cents is not a fair evaluation of Elite. To say that this stock has not been, or is not being manipulated to where it is... is naïve.
Or the week after that. Or January 2019...……….
Your welcome
With Purdue there is a monopoly on OxyContin.
Funny thing about Teva, people out there looking for work from Teva from recent lay offs. Have a couple of them now working at our facility.
Glenmark is #15 and growing? Always good to see a company that exploits opportunities. Sounds like Glenmark is hungry for growth.
And just how do abusers get those prescription opioids they abuse? They have their own doctors just write them a script?
Glenmark India = Glenmark U S A. Thank you N2K.
So all of this is to create doubt that Glenmark U S A is some company that uses the Glenmark name and is not Glenmark India. Pulling out all the stops. Impressive.
So Mylan supplies the adulterated ingredient that necessitated the recall and Teva did not do any testing of the raw material? Teva didn't pay close attention to the C of A from Mylan, or did Teva just neglect to do full testing on the raw material supplied to them from Mylan? Teva did something wrong. Mylan supplied the certificate of analysis for the raw material.
Teva messed up period. Totally on Teva which makes it all sound like Teva was taking short cuts like not doing full testing of the raw material.
Tsk tsk Teva.
