so whats the story with the supposed shareholders meeting?
"a special shareholders meeting to be held in late August or very early September 2007"
"Stocks move up for only 1 reason...More people want to buy than want to sell!
They move down for only 1 reason...More people want to sell than buy!"
thats the general concept but its not always true, especially on the OTC. when i first started buying DPDW it was easy to pick up shares at the bid, which of course made those trades appear to be sells.
no
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_maker for more info on MMs.
the information i posted was accurate. the ask went from .70 to .73 (when i posted) before going back to .70.
ask moving up pre-market
thats a thought most of us have and follow every time DPDW dips :)
greekpimp
unfortunately, the reality is we have no control over the day to day stock price and neither does DPDW. therefore i say what is the point in complaining about it? that is really the only 'negative' around here (just as it is every other publicly traded stock at some point).
DPDW has executed their growth plan better than anyone expected since the beginning of the year. they have provided the most extreme example of transparency than any OTC company. what more can we ask for of DPDW? nothing IMO.
speaking of OceanWorks Int...
this video on their website is relevant to DPDW - http://www.oceanworks.com/cms/videos/sub_rescue.wmv
at 30 sec an arm LARS is seen. i believe there are a few of these at DPDW including a small arm as seen below and a larger arm that was just brought in to the assembly and testing area wednesday evening.
DPDW has also been building two rectangular cages that look just like the ROV cage seen at 50 seconds.
benfikaman, you are on a roll
great finds
sulphur, there are some nice pics and images in that PDF that show just how complicated subsea work is and how much money is to be made in the industry. i take it you saw a Dril-Quip flatbed at DPDW? when you posted that earlier i thought it was just random but there is currently a Dril-Quip flatbed waiting to be loaded on cam 2.
brikk, not sure if you saw them open that cylinder up but there was quite a buzz around it earlier. you can see there are several gas tanks inside...
for the new cam junkies who need a layout map...
(the numbers are the cams)
as all of us around here already know...
you can never have enough DPDW
after almost 19k shares were bought. every order has been at the ask so far.
we could always try locking the MMs up in a Seastax, shipping them to some far away rig and dumping them at sea :)
if one MM is on the ask at .73 then they are the active selling MM. any MMs with a higher listed ask are not actively selling until the MM below them gets out of the way. it is not a matter of stupidity, just the way it works, afaik.
mondays PR is disposable with no real information as it is the same ploy that scam companies often use. todays PR however is quite tasty and helps legitimize MCCY since VW is mentioned by name.
a couple more Morays are being boxed up by Panalpina (panalpina.com) to be shipped out.
"that's why I hate rumors...if this company has bigger fish involved...they sure as hell got monster developments about to hit"
uhhhh, thats more then just a bit ironic. to follow up "that's why I hate rumors" with an "if" statement which would be considered a rumor or speculation.
for me its not so much a lack of excitement but i have become so confident and bullish with DPDW for the long term that i really do not care about the short term share price (unless it makes a big move of course). DPDW is so transparent and has hit the nail so squarely on the head everytime from a corporate perspective that there is really nothing to question or prove, unlike the rest of the OTC.
thanks for the pics guys
do you mind reposting this 'pertinent information'?
coming to the expo?
maybe i am missing something but this expo already happened 4 months ago.
ok moron
not really but you asked for it :P
the way i look at it is by the time we reach that point, a move to a higher and more fair exchange should be in the picture.
re: acquisition timeframe...
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=20933231
it could be anytime now.
it is not correct and Yahoo still has the info from the previous company whose shell DPDW merged into (MQPH). the Dahlman Rose price target of $1.50 is accurate however.
this flipper is not sorry but very happy :)
i keep saying i am done buying but i have a really hard time resisting at these discount prices. looks like i will probably pick up some more tomorrow. before i know it my portfolio is going to be 100% DPDW, lol.
that change was after the close which is typical. it is nice to see the MMs raise the ask after the bell instead of lowering the bid though.
closed at .048 x .05
fantastic
i did not forget Mako and there is no effect on the recent 10Q as the acquisition is still pending.
now thats hitting the nail on the head.
speaking of acquisition strengths and synergies. imo, one of the most significant strengths of ElectroWave is their customer base on a global scale.
"ElectroWave's customers include Transocean Offshore, Diamond Offshore, Marinette Marine Corporation, VT Halter, Atlantic Marine, New York City Department of Transportation, and others. ElectroWave's equipment is installed on some of the latest generation United States Coast Guard and United States Navy vessels. Current systems are in operation in the following areas: United States Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, Baku, Vietnam, Singapore, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Angola, India, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Russia, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, and the Middle East."
WTF?
CXOT (on OLD clearstation watch list)
only recent trading history:
Date Open High Low Close Volume Change Change %
8/22/07 0.04 0.04 0.04 0.04 2,000 0.03 300.00%
8/21/07 0.01 0.01 0.01 0.01 100
8/17/07 0.01 0.01 0.01 0.01 2,000 0.01
thats just over $100
well that was fun.
in .015, out .035 the next day. missed a few chances to flip for 50% gains.
1 flatbed was just loaded up and shipped out...
4 more large pieces of DPDW manufactured equipment out the door, be it for sale or lease. the production lately has been amazing and with a backlog worth more than last years revenues it is great to see DPDW executing.
another flatbed was bringing in DPDW equipment, likely for repair and a new contract.
they have not remarked on shipments because they do not exist.
and the company is looking even better.
i did and was at the time. since then i have taken advantage of the swings and i would disagree with the amount of skill you think is needed to trade MCCY. it has been an easy flipper IMO.
why average up when you can trade and average down :/
OUTT is flying
up over 200% today, ahhhhh yeah
