Reality check.
Stop watching the price daily. It will will drive you crazy.
If your long and own over 100,000 shares do to low historical volume here you are share locked.
Any attempt to unload will drive the price considerably lower.
Sit back relax and enjoy the upcoming holidays and check back here in January 2015.
One of two things will occur by January 31 2015.
The pilot plant will be up and functioning, volume will greatly increase price will significantly then if you want out at a profit this will be the time to unload a large number of shares.
The other thing that could occur, is nothing develops with the pilot plant, investors lose faith in Larry (he states the plant will be operational January 2015). Investors panic. They try to get out at any price. Stock falls back to under a dime.

Junkhustle & Teron31 here is some bedtime reading material for you.
Lafarge mission as stated by Lafarge: http://www.lafarge.com/wps/portal/2_8_3-Ambitions-2020-Emissions-atmospheriques-CO2
Company Lafarge has picked to complete that mission:

I see you never tried to build a company from an idea.
Going from $3000 dollars in revenue to $275,000 is huge.
Getting someone to have faith in your idea to invest 5 million is huge,
Being able to raise 1,7 million is huge.
Forming a partnership with a major company, and having that company still working with you 3 years later is major huge.
The 10K is old news.
What it shows: It confirms MVTG relationship with Lafarge and Alstom. It shows the company going forward with it's pilot plant.
It shows the company going forward with it's fuel cell development.
It confirms everything we thought it was doing up to May 31.
What it doesn't show is what the company has done since:

IMHO the foundation is built now they are working on the walls.
Nothing has changed, the company maybe not as fast as we would like, is following it's plan and moving forward.
All questions will be answered by 09/19/2014.
Doesn't appear to be to hugh. From TD Ameritrade
Very good advice, you should follow it, wait til 9/19/14, before making further gloom predictions.
A stop in a moment of time. A delay in paper work, a change of policy, but no change to the fundamentals of the company.
The price may drop for a few days, who cares. Unless you are planning to sell in those few days.
If you a long a week is nothing, those who panic will jump off the building and drive the stock down temporary,
Nothing has changes as far as the company is concern. They filed the paperwork properly with SEC, the late 10k is no surprise. They still have the relationship with Lafarge and Alstom. The pilot plant and other projects are still going forward as plan.
Sit back relax and enjoy the last week of summer.

What do you see as a significant difference for fuel cell use comparing MVTG technology and the technology GE is working on now?
Which one do you feel with have a great impact commercially?

Do you see GE buying part of Alstom as a possible threat to MVTG, with GE investing so much time and money in to the stainless steel solid oxide fuel cells that they might put pressure on Alstom to sequester MVTG technology?

Sorry Ecomike, I don't have private message service.
That quote I referred to was not mine.
Again, I thank you for all your the great information you provide here, you go way beyond to help us all understand the value here.
Thanks again, and have a great weekend.
Ecomike Why?
"I beg to differ" and I respect your right to do so.
""cant-miss" opportunities trying to semantically couple themselves with world leading partners. Only to find the whole thing to be more of a piggybank for insiders." no argument here.
"World Class talent? Thats very debatable" yes and that what this board is for.
"who needs to dilute when insiders can sell shares they received at .02 or even a 50% discount to what the current market is paying. "
this happens all the time in employee bonus and option package.
My daughter works for a pharmaceutical company her option is for 30.00 dollars a share for a stock near 400 hundred.
"Still no real assets: 1.7 milliion, contract with
alstom, pilot plabt being constructed (per SEC 8k not flurry PR,
and several patents these are real assets.
"When the plant is finished and paid for. We can talk about whats what. Thats when the real valuations will start to emerge." Totally agree, [b]IF that does happen you won't be paying 50 cents a share either.
"couple themselves with world leading partners" To ME it not that they have couple with world leading partners, any small firm can do work for or with a world leading company for a short period of time and say they have a working partnership. It is the fact that one, Lafarge, has worked continually with them for a long period of time and have acknowledging that what they are working on together is installing MVTG technology at one of there sites.
"Call me a skeptic, but at this point with my experience in how formula start-ups are run I feel like more of a realist."
Nothing wrong with being a skeptic. Start-up are not run by realist but dreamers. That why the risk is always high here in penny land.

I agree and Thanks
junkhustler, "Nothing has been proven here except that Larry can dish out preferred options and collect airmiles" that not accurate at all.
Larry has taken an idea as has made great strives in building a company from start up.
You have to give credit where credit is do. He has raised needed capital, established strong partnerships, recruited high quality talent, and in so doing this kept dilution at a very low level.
These are exceptional accomplishments for a small start up CEO.
The part that is speculation, is whether he can bring the technology to market, will it work, will the market embrace it,
and will it be profitable.
Is it a "Sure-thing" no, is it worth a wager most certainly.
Zippy101, One should only invest (gamble) at a level they are comfortable. Unfortunately there are no guarantees in the stock market.
Many here tout this stock as the energy savior of the world. I for one hope their are right but they might be wrong.
I am long, but also very cautious here myself. I have seen so many can't miss greatest technologies in their market before and watched them disappear because someone else beat them to the punch.
I am long here, but it's with money that though I wouldn't like it could live with losing.
One of my cautious. I keep bringing up the lack of volume here.
While the majority of the people on this board are strong longs by choice, they are also share locked in the position.
Imagine if any one of those longs having over 250,000 shares decided they just wanted out. Where do you think the share price would be, Very very much lower.
I for one will feel much more comfortable once the pilot plant is up and functioning. For me why? Because it will prove to me that Larry can deliver.
A very good assessment.
Thanks
It could be as simple as the engineering and design services provided primarily by NORAM engineers and scientists, will be completed by 24 weeks, but once they are done other modifications and fine tuning might be necessary to make the pilot plant become fully functional.
Which might take them to the end of the year to complete.
Only a guess.
I have to say I am now a little confused. I am basing my timeline on the 4/1/2014 8k.
IMHO I think you might be pleasantly surprise.
As they say timing is everything. Of all the weeks in a year, picking the same week for the stock push as the projected week to finish the pilot plant project, and with the release of the 10k.
I don't believe in coincidences.
Greener here what I find real interesting.
Larry decides to do a stock push the same week that the pilot plant 24 week project is due to be completed, week ending 9/13.
Thoughts?
From 8k 4/1/2014
Quote:The BC Research facility houses a wet chemical laboratory and over 10,000 square feet of pilot plant space, and is where Mantra is performing its ongoing research and development work on ERC. Pursuant to the Letter of Engagement BC Research (in collaboration with NORAM) has been engaged to engineer, design and build Mantra's ERC demonstration unit for the estimated cost of CAD$360,000 (approximately USD$326,000). Engineering and design services for the project will be provided primarily by NORAM engineers and scientists. Mantra has delivered the first payment installment of $190,000 to BC Research and, as at the date of this report, project work has commenced and is estimated to take 24 weeks. Mantra may terminate the agreement at any time and will retain all prior-owned and new intellectual property related to the project.
Got to say the company knew the 10K was going to be late but did schedule a PR blitz before the release date. That does not look good.
One can only hope that Sept 8th along with the PR blitz comes a major PR or two followed by a very positive 10k.
From 8k 4/1/2014
SPS50 Thanks for the response I hope you are correct.
As I said in the past it concerns me that with all the good news, Larry's successful trips over seas, a lot of good press and people talking about MVTG heavily on twitter I would thought that there would be a significant increase of volume.
But on the other hand I can not kick, 10 cents not that long ago 54 cents now a more than decent return.
Best of luck.
Eco, with a successful oversee tour, new office in Germany, and on fire on twitter, what is your assessment of why daily volume is so low here?
IF ONLY
They were allowed to go chapter 11 instead of BEING FORCED into going chapter 7.
They would still have the trade name which is still selling, they would still have the product which is still selling, they would still have the nick contract which is still in effect, they would still have the radio station, which is still in operation and they would still own Dicon which is still making money.
Looks to me that the company might have been worth saving instead of forcefully liquidated. There was definitely value there that could have been saved for the stockholder,
Have a great weekend.
May we all get lucky here.
LOL LOL LOL LOL
That man was good
1) you are saying the shares he is selling are those he purchased on the open and reselling, and were always in the open market to be brought and sold by anyone.
2)Market share price dictated by the company and allowing more shares in to the free market.
3)Ever been on a board, there is more than just one guy. He was pressured to make that decision.
Hope this helps you get that homework done
1) (How so? These shares aren't added to the float, they are already in the float just exchanging hands The shares he is selling are not shares he purchased from those out in the market place. He is converting his option and adding to those share already in the market place.
2)The market controls the price of any stock, (unless manipulated)...sometimes they sell at a discount, means certain buyers got cheap shares Yes and no there are several items that control the share price. Example Company A has a 100 shares out standing and a market value of 100 dollars. The Market puts a value on the company as a hundred dollars. The Company releases 900 new shares from its treasury. The market still believe the company is only worth 100 dollars the price per share falls to a dime.
3)4)5)6)Apparently the board of directors disagree with you as they requested he wouldn't sell any more shares for a year. The research does get any simplier than that.
If you long don't bother reading this post.
Short tern the CEO (no matter what the reason) is BAD for short term share price.
1) It increases the float.
2) It put out on the market a lot of low price shares that someone has to buy before the position rises.
3) It projects an image that the CEO has no faith in the company's future.
4) It cause weak hands to get weaker
5) It causes longs to question the motives behind the sale, and make wild guesses and assumptions why he is doing it.
6) It causes longs to question if the CEO is selling at these levels maybe I should be selling to.
Disclaimer I am long holding 250,000 shares
I don't expect much from this 10q.
Not a lot of clinics opened yet.
Clinics that are opened, just opened, it takes time to build a client base.
Lack of revenue from those licensees that took the license over money owed.
Bottom line should look good as debt was removed for giving out the licenses.
If I was to make a guess I would say that the next acquisition will be a small manufacturing company to produce the solar cells.
