Circuit City just filed bankruptcy - don't think that I would be buying any gift cards for them.
Everyone realizes that the A/S increase to 6.5bil will not be addressed in the 10Q due to the filing date of the increase - right?
That's a neat trick how you can get an updated chart on a dated message. It really didn't answer my question though; I read many posts where people state that they are long on UVSE stock and I was curious as to which definitions of "long" and "short" that they were in reference in. Maybe some just use it as a figure of speech meaning that they have held it for much longer or shorter than the average flipper holds or sells. I would venture to say that there are very few people on this forum that are holding UVSE stock "long" in the traditional meaning of the word.
What definition of "long" and "short" is being used here?
Hear, Hear - I'm toasting with my V8 (low sodium, of course). Go Mikey & UVSE!
Gempicker, can you tell me why PINR would double the A/S without even an explanation PR? It has been my experience that no good things have ever come from things done in secrecy. If it even comes close to .001 again I'm out. GLTA
Maybe the company is setting it self up for some toxic financing?
Thanks Rally - your the man!
I may have left off a few zeros (GRIN). I still like my plan better...
I still like the idea of 1mil better (GRIN). Afterall that would only be 306 million - helluva lot cheaper than the latest bail-out package.
Just imagine how many small businesses would spring up if the government gave everyone a million tax-free dollars?
Does anyone know what the latest O/S is?
I was thinking the same thing this morning while watching the world markets tumble...if the government would just give every citizen $1 million tax-free dollars each, then the economy would take off like a rocket, and that would only cost them a fraction of what is currently being thrown to the ones that caused all of this!
I am inclined to believe with you on the outlook of today's market watch. The world markets are all considerably down today and as bad as I hate to be a pessimist, I do not see any good news today for the US markets - terminology like "Black Friday" come to mind. On the good side though - it will be a buyers market late in the day. GLTA
Rally Cry, most of us here have gambled on Raley's integrity. My hope and desire is that it has not been a "mistake".
It is already announced that they plan to cut production by 1.5mil b/d.
Thanks Mike.
I was able to pick up another 650k today - my average is still above a penny though.
Glad you replied. I was looking for that link that you posted at one time that listed the buys/sells - can you post that again?
I got distracted - were they buys or sells?
Definitely a buyers market right outta' the gate.
Yeah, I see it too. Can't tell if they are buys or sells though.
Watch 'Mad Money' - Cramer always has some good share buying (and selling) advice.
If SN is going to be a profit-maker, then it would be better to wait until after the holidays before selling it. If on the other hand the company believes that it will not make as much revenue as expected, then it would make good business sense to try and sell it now.
Thanks for the welcome! Sorry if this one has been previously posted, but it probably won't hurt anything to post & spread it around again:

A Trivia question in Sunday School:
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?
Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is.
Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.
All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!'
According to The Book of Revelations: The anti-Christ will
be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with
persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says
that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace,
and when he is in power, will destroy everything..
Do we recognize this description??
I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this as many times as
you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet..do it!
I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.
From: Dr. John Tisdale

Dear Friends,
As I was listening to a news program last night, I watched in horror as Barack Obama made the statement with pride. . .'we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, . . .' As with so many other statements I've heard him (and his wife) make, I never thought I'd see the day that I'd hear something like that from a presidential candidate in this nation. To think our forefathers fought and died for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--and to have this man say with pride that we are no longer that. How far this nation has come from what our founding fathers intended it to be.
I hope that each of you will do what I'm doing now--send your concerns, written simply and sincerely, to the Christians on your email list. With God's help, and He is still in control of this nation and all else, we can show this man and the world in November that we are, indeed, still a Christian nation!
Please pray for our nation!
Thanks for the funny & the link! I subscribed to the newsletter from the link. The one about 'Hair Removal' on the 'MySpace' site had me laughing so hard I almost messed myself! (GRIN)
Thanks Rally. We do appreciate your persistence in keeping us informed with the O/S status.
The Ohio Valley has both Marathon and Speedway convenience stores with fuel, and Kroger grocery stores with fuel. Wal-Mart and Sams Club both sell fuel, but not here in the valley.
Here, Here - yes we do! Even those of us that just bounce in and out. Keep up the good work & try to avoid the snakes & snares!
You can get them now - just picked up a few more myself (at the ASK). Wished I would have my entire investment in this stock at these levels - I would have about 27mil of them. It's all good though - our day is coming. GLTY
That would be sweet if they were all gone. I was thinking that the original conversion would have equated to approximately 500mil shares, but the company was reserving an additional 50% for good measure. Total as previously disclosed would be 750mil shares. Looks like we just passed through the 500mil target - I hope that it is done.
I understand your pain. I actually haven't lost anything yet - just down a helluva lot. GLTA
I did buy this a year ago, but have managed to average down considerably since then. I really don't understand the mentality of laughing at someone else' loss.
My opinion was in my post...the company is a progressive revenue generating entity with very little overhead.
I am a "long" holder and I am concerned that my UVSE investment is down 90%. That doesn't mean that I am a con-artist trying to pump this stock. I got into this stock because I believe in the company's ability to progressively generate revenue which in the long run will promote greater shareholder value.
I believe it to be good news as well - just wished they would mention their sub-contracts by the company name. It would add a bit more validity to the PR.
I am just about ready for that sharp spike upwards...if it will just wait for another 2 weeks, then I will have been able to average down real nicely on this one and be ready for the surge. GLTY
Sounds just like the kind of change that I can beleive in - and I'm not talking about politics (GRIN). Good thing tomorrow's payday - guess I'll just have to add a few more shares to my portfolio.
