Lawsuit filed against Q Television Network Settled
December 29, 2005
Wilkes-Barre, PA
Archbishop Bruce J. Simpson, President of Benedictine Enterprises, LLC, which entered into a contract with QTN to provide hosting services for a television show hosted on QTN, has announced that an agreement was reached today to settle the lawsuit between the parties, out of court.
“I’m pleased that we were able to work the issues out prior to spending a lot of funds on both sides to litigate this contract. Now that a relative peace has been reached between the parties, we can all return to normal operations,” said Simpson.
The exact details of the settlement were not being released as part of the agreement and Simpson would not rule out future participation with Q Television Network

TELEVISION
Tuning out in 2005
Gay characters dwindled on the networks, but cable's friendliness and all-gay cable channels arrived this year to fill the void.
By BRIAN MOYLAN
Friday, December 30, 2005
THE BIGGEST NEWS on television in 2005 was the push and pull for gay audiences in terms of content. The number of new characters on network television made a little headway, but gay and lesbian characters and content on both cable and broadcast TV dropped off from the heights of the past several years.
At the same time, gay audiences finally saw the rise of three channels that are all gay all the time.
The biggest blow was the ending of two of television's most beloved gay-friendly series, Showtime's "Queer As Folk" and HBO's "Six Feet Under," both after five seasons. To make matters worse, NBC announced this will be the final season of seminal gay situation comedy "Will & Grace."
Some gay critics didn't appreciate "QAF" while it was around, but its ubiquitous presence — in gay media, at Gay Pride and on tour to gay clubs around the country — will be sorely missed as a pioneer and mainstay.
Luckily, we still have "The L Word," the lesbian soap that returns to Showtime with its third season on Jan. 8.
"Six Feet Under" verged on the absurd for the last few seasons, but it went out on a creative high note with some of the greatest episodes in the series’ history. In the heart wrenching final episode, which foretells all the characters’ deaths, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
HBO tried to replace it with the epic "Rome," which offered some good lesbian action, but not nearly enough hunky gladiators, and "The Comeback," a fake reality show about a washed up gay icon that proved Lisa Kudrow could be the only one of the "Friends" crew to do something interesting.
AS FAR AS adding new shows with gay characters was concerned, this year wasn't so hot. The only show that seems to have taken root is CBS's medical family comedy "Out of Practice." Others including ABC's terrific "Eyes" (which featured a gay P.I.), Fox's "Kitchen Confidential" (gay waiter) and NBC's "Inconceivable" (gay lawyer and his partner), were cancelled after only a few episodes.
We'll have to pin our network hopes on some of the new gay inclusive shows rolling out at the beginning of 2006. NBC's "Four Kings" and "Book of Daniel," CBS' "Love Monkey" and ABC's "Emily's Reasons Why Not" and "Crumbs" are gay-inclusive midseason replacements.
CABLE CONTINUES to target gay audiences, and 2005 saw the arrival of three new cable channels devoted to gay and lesbian programming. Logo, the gay digital channel from MTV Networks, got off to a rollicking (though delayed) start on June 30. Its schedule is filled with reality shows, music specials and a litany of gay movies, and its early original offerings are refreshing. "Open Bar" was a cute reality show in the MTV spirit, and a new version of the gay black drama "Noah's Arc"is gaining popularity.
Here! Television, most widely available as an on-demand service on digital cable, continued to provide quality movies, including some of its own originals. The Chad Allen detective movie "Third Man Out" was good, if a bit uneven, and the slightly raunchy Gothic series "Dante's Cove" is the ultimate in guilty pleasures. Luckily, both will be back for more next year.

junk....jhonathon winters could come back to...
agreed junkmasterg.....
junk...if no one cares about anyone elses portfolio here then why does everyone here always say its going down ,you guys are losing your azzez, frank is a crook.....sounds to me people do care about my investment and there not saying things that are a discussion about the stock....there just bashing to bash....
they should have a "losers board" for bashers to go to when there un happy
always mitch....thats why i use loomis rods only...if it breaks wears out or ANYTHING they replace it for free....its always good to cover everything just in case something like qbid comes along...lol
i agree with skunks, junk...after all a message board should be a discussion about investing and potential opportunities for profitt, not a depression session everyday about how sorry a company is that YOU invested in....
maybe ihub should make a "LOSERS BOARD" for some of you people to go to so you can all cry in the same bucket and real investors arent subject to your wallowing in the gutter
junk the article said it was no longer available on cabel.....you can still get it but you must have satellite, direct tv or dish are the only places you can get it

FREEWAY is when you sell half your shares to cover your investment and then make money THE FREEWAY.
