Cali - "there are currently no free trading shares available"
Help me understand something here. If there are no free trading shares available does this mean the shares that are currently trading over the past few days are just from those who are just afraid to hang on and are unloading just to take what they can since they are finally able to trade some?
Cali's Steak Dinner bet!
Good luck getting any takers on the steak dinner Cali. Well then again there are a few individuals who are just not smart enough to see where and how fast this is going, so you may get 1 or 2 takers on this. Especially the ones who are getting sick of eating at Taco Bell!
OT - Did someone say more Cowbell???
Hi Cali. Just got in and catching up since earlier. Guess I didn't miss much the last hour of trading. Oh well. Was tempted to pick up a bottle of the good stuff on the way home but will refrain for now. Finding way too many reasons to celebrate lately... Even using the cool weather we're having here lately as an excuse. LOL
Will stick to drinking a couple of glasses of wine this evening.
Lost 24 Lbs a few months back but seem to be gaining it back again. Guess a few here and there and cutting back at the gym will do that to a person. Maybe I'll start the good way of living, I mean healthy way of living again next month. LOL
Gotta go watch a movie I rented now (The Condemned).
Later.
Awful quite last part of this afternoon. Guess I'll head home and check back to see if I missed anything for the last hour of trading. Hope I miss something as it's getting too quite now.
Welcome Surfcast as new assistant MOD.
There we go. Give me some more Cow Bell!!
Ye ha!
P.S. Great job keeping up on this board as well!
Good.
Great!!! missing the bell!
Needs a great big kick in the rear. All together now. KICK!
OT: East Conroy area.
Pretty well other side of city.
Holding 22 Mil shares here but at between .0004 or .0005 avg.
Been holding and accumulating so long I forget exactly the avg.
Holding for way more than this that's for sure. Looking for freedom 45. LOL
OT - Cool. East or West Huntclub. I'm actually Bridlewood. I'm sure you know that area. I take part of Huntclub home everyday. Hey! I reconize the cat. LOL
Glad to see you here. Let's make some $$$
OT - Cat, you in Ottawa On? I'm in Kanata
Meeting is out. Let the bull run.
Morning fellow traders! Got my bucket of coffee so I'm ready for the day. Darn, my bi-weekly big meeting has just been pushed back 1/2 hour just when the bell will go off for trading to begin, guess I'm going to miss the opening, just hope my meeting does not last too long. Won't have a word to say at my meeting today unless it's about GLBT. LOL
Later!
That we did my good fellow, that we did. Going to pick up lots of different scotchs to drink.
Later!
It's the ones that haven't been reading all day long that are going to need the luck and lots of coffee. LOL
Later! Outta here!
I'm out of here (work) and heading home in next few minutes. Hoping to see my 300 Mil vol and .0003's before I leave. If not maybe I'll check it out when I get home to see it tonight. Still would like to see it before I go.
Counting down now. 2 minutes and counting tic toc tic toc...
I'm sure it will. Those who are not reading here today are sure going to have an interesting time reading everything tonight. Big pleasant surprises for some of them.
Back from coffee. Where's that 300 Mil I was looking for and also the .0003's
It sure is. Glad I believed and held for the past 2 1/2 years and accumulated more. I first got in at .0026 and averaged down ever since. Think my avg is now .0004 or .0005. Looking real good to make back my investment and some. Quite a bit of some if I can help it.
GO GLBT GO!
Going for a quick coffee and when I return I expect to see minimum 300 Mil vol and possibly that .0003 there or maybe at least touched.
Good start. LOL
Just finished lunch and I see my desert is ready. Hot Dog!
Good day Cali and everyone.
I'm just getting myself strapped in and getting ready to watch the show. Starting to get excited and I see others are too.
Really curious to see what kind of run we may have in store. Now back to much lunch.
Great post and DD stervc. I'm looking forward to reading comments on your post as well.
Long and strong here. Fingers and toes crossed. Eyes too. LOL
Sorry for the typo on your name before Cali. I should have replied to one of your posts instead of adding a new one. I'm sending this again incase the first gets lost within the addition of future posts. See my Post#3661
TIA
Hi Clai, this is from one of your previous posts: Post #1098808
"There seem to be no free trading shares available at this point."
I am missing something here? How do we get volume and why is everyone looking for more volume. Should we not be seeing low volume at this point and only seeing increased volume with increased SP? I think since everyone is getting excited I may be missing something in this regard. Please clarify or set me straight. Thanks Cali and keep up the great work here.
Any predictions on what we could see this thing go to?
Holding 22 Mil shares, not as many as some of you but enough to hopefully make my life a little easier if it does run. Started placing some small sell orders in starting at the low .003's up to .03 for now. At least if it runs to this I make a few $'s and still will have a few more Mil set aside for the big LOTTO pay off if it does decide to run higher. Luck to all of us and Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians.
Just got in and all I can say is WOW!
Glad I stopped of at the liquor store on the way home tonight. Now I have a good reason to have a few. Not that I really need a reason but it justifies it in the end. LOL
Welcome back Pope! Hope you had a great summer. Exciting times ahead I believe.
Your a riot Cali! Good to be back here posting and seeing some possible good things happening. Time to head out to the gym.
Later!
I'd definetly be happy with .01 and if .11 ever came about....
Can't even think about it but one thing for sure....early retirement.
Late day volume coming in. Looking forward to the very close future.
Just decided to have a quick peek today and saw the first NR since 22 Jun 2005. Get the Cow bell ready CALI!
This has been a long time coming and am holding out for at least .005 before I begin to let some of my shares go.
Next little while could prove to be very interesting.
Don't invest any further in this for now. I received a letter from my broker the other day advising me to call them in regards to investing in OTC stocks and those on the Pink. I called them and spoke in great detail about some of my investments. Will not name my broker at this time but I also brought to their attention that I was lucky to sell almost all my SOMA shares at .26 when they first became able to trade. I explained that alot of people have problems now and luckily I got rid of all mine except 1000 shares. When they asked why I only kept the 1000 if I felt the way I did, I went on to explain the the restrictions had changed and that I could only sell in 5K lots. They are now going to invesitagate into things for me regarding EQBM and SOMA. They advised me not to invest anything further into these stocks. This transpired on Friday afternoon. They said they will get back to me ASAP once they look into things.
I never expected my broker to go out of their way to do this and I didn't even ask them to but they say alot of illegal stuff goes on with OTC stocks and things are changing with how some brokers see and deal with this activity and alot of brokers are beginning to advise their clients of the high risks even though we may already be aware of what happens anyway. Not sure if this is a new regulation or an action due in part with the SEC but I'm definitely glad to see they are going to investigate this situation on my behalf. I hope they find something on Larry that causes him to fry or at least share a cell with Mr. Black. I'm definetly glad that I sold off on almost all my SOMA shares, as they gave me back most of my initial investment. Now only stuck with a couple of SOMA shares and a bunch of EQBM shares. If something ever happens with that, then at least that's just gravy and if not I'm only out a few $'s now. Sorry for those of you who weren't able to get rid of you SOMA shares. Will be sure to keep my name out for Larry and to avoid anything further that has his name on is.

Just wish I had more $ to buy more. Maybe safer just the same to continue to hold what I already do.

Grant Life Sciences Terminates Negotiations with Diagnostic Technologies Ltd. to Develop and Commercialize Grant's Serum-Based Cervical Cancer-Diagnostic Platform
Grant also says it expects to soon complete its agreement with
Alphagenics for its DNA-based HPV cervical cancer test
LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--Grant Life Sciences ('Grant') Inc. (OTC BB: GLIF) announced today
that it has decided to terminate further negotiations with
Israel-based Diagnostic Technologies Ltd. (DTL) related to Grant's
serum-based cervical cancer-diagnostic technology (U.S. Patent No.
6,743,593) as announced in April 2006, and subsequently extended on
October 15, 2006. An extension of the MOU between Grant and DTL was
made necessary because DTL's business activities were significantly
hindered as a result of the 2006 Israel/Lebanon conflict, which
occurred between July 12 and August 14, 2006.
"We will continue to develop our serum-based test for cervical
cancer while seeking an appropriate development-and-commercialization
partner," said Hun-Chi Lin, Ph.D., Grant's President and Chief
Scientist. "Nevertheless, we are very pleased with the near-term
opportunity afforded us by our relationship with Alphagenics and its
DNA-based HPV test for cervical cancer."
On June 13, 2007, Grant announced that it had signed a Memo of
Understanding (MOU) with Alphagenics Diaco Biotechnologies S.r.l.
(Italy) to exclusively in-license the manufacturing and marketing
rights to Alphagenics' molecular diagnostic test for Human Papilloma
Viruses (HPVs) in Greater China and the United States and
non-exclusively in Europe, India, Australia and Japan. The Alphagenics
HPV test is a DNA-based diagnostic that uses standard molecular
diagnostic equipment found in most commercial laboratories.
Alphagenics' HPV DNA test complements the HPV blood test that
Grant Life Sciences is developing--a serum-based immunological test to
detect cervical dysplasia. The majority of cervical cancer is caused
by HPVs. Of the more-than-100 types of HPV approximately 10 have been
linked to cervical cancer. While a serum-based test to detect
precancerous evidence and cancer of the cervix is still viewed by
Grant as the preferred test-methodology to address the needs of the
developing world, molecular (DNA) testing is currently the approved
test protocol in both the U.S. and Europe.
"Our introduction of the Alphagenics HPV test would not only allow
commercial laboratories to provide molecular testing but also would
complement the current introduction of vaccines against HPVs," said
Dr. Hun-Chi Lin, President and Chief Scientist, Grant Life Sciences.
"The current approved vaccine in the U.S. provides for inoculation
against four types of HPV for use in girls and women 9-to-26 years of
age, who presumably have not been exposed to the viruses. However,
women who have reached sexual maturity and have not been exposed to
one of the four HPV-types may benefit from the vaccination, according
to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
Consequently, the Alphagenics test can be used by the balance of the
female population to determine exposure and the possible use of the
vaccine if found negative. Further both vaccines on the market (GSK's
vaccine is approved for Australia for ages 10-to-45 and Merck's
vaccine is approved in the U.S. for ages 9-to-26) only confer
protection against HPV oncogenic types 16 and 18. While these types
are predominant (approximately 60+%) in the Caucasian market, they are
not the dominant types found in the Asian, African, Indian, and
Hispanic populations. Fortunately, the Alphagenics test is designed to
test for all the serotypes of oncogenic HPV."
In addition, Dr. Lin said that the Alphagenics test can be used in
the current gynecological regimen to help qualify Pap test results in
the case of ambiguous readings, at a cost less than the current
approved molecular test. Grant expects to launch the Alphagenics HPV
DNA-based test in the Asian and Indian markets during the fourth
quarter of this year.
