Opportunity is knocking...
bid 3.60 ask 3.70
Spock get out there and grab some more shares........
Dino
Nice move speedway...eom.
It looks like my theory of cxo being forced to cover after the lawsuit verdict was announced, sure was way off.
3.65 ugh.....
Oh well.
Dino
Dread's post 11578 coupled with Torvec's 8k April 13th led me to the elbow rubbing. I do not have anything else to share other than that. Best of luck with your investments observer.
Dino
Defense contractors are rubbing elbows with Torvec for a commercialization of our CV joint.
Like NASA, could big names like Boeing BA or Lockheed Martin LMT have noticed Torvec tech?
Dino
I enjoyed reading Zendo's post.
He gave his reasons for wanting out respectfully.
This investment I made in Torvec is not open ended for me by any means. I may one day reach the same decision Zendo did.
Torvec may never sell a thing, but it will not be from a lack of trying. As the old saying goes "it ain't worth a dime unless you have a buyer." No one holds a gun to Zendo or anyones head; to buy, sell or hold Torvec or any stock.
Right now I am extremely confident in Torvec's future for many reasons. Torvec's contacts are FOR REAL.
See you at the 2008 shareholders meeting. At which time the share price IMO will be higher than $4 per share.
Dino
Zendo nice to see your candid and sincere post. I am glad to see you made a profit.
Losing and gaining investors as this plays out is no surprise to me. There are many more out there like you who understandably did not want to hang on any longer.
As for me I am more confident then over and ironically bought some of your shares today.
Dino
I cannot imagine that cxo or anyone associated with them is happy about being slapped with a multi million dollar lawsuit.
They are probably quite angry in fact.
Dino
The 8k clearly states the chinese discussions are continuing. And for the record, when we met face to face dyna was a gentleman to JG, Dread and I.
Dino
Oshkosh(osk)Eaton(etn)BorgWarner(bwa)ArvinMeritor(arm) have been mentioned here in the past.
Dino
I understand that.....
precisely why I asked you what you thought about what Torvec said in THEIR update. I like their confidence.
<< my reference to boasting on iii was really aimed at Torvec not the posters on this board. >>
Dino
Thank you for your response Lhasa....
The reason I asked was because I know you have stated on iii that we are big on boasting.
You are right we are confident in what we have to offer to those who are interested in the acquisition of Torvec's technologies.
It is nice to know that major players are sitting at the discussion table with us.
Dino
Care to expand on how you feel about the rest of the update?
Dino
My family and I are so proud, excited, and fortunate to be associated with the Gleasmans as shareholders of their very promising company.
Dino
P.S. In late 2006 I made a huge profit on a piece of real estate and I wisely used ALL of the sale price to purchase additional shares of Tovc in the $3 range. To cover the $80,000 in capital gains taxes owed by April 17th I have sold a small percentage of my holdings recently because I do not like to owe money. I am one of those people who has never owned a credit card.
Just a theory on my part about our friends at cxo. I am hoping they shorted shares and will be forced to cover.
Selling shares to pay capital gains by the 17th. is done.
Dino
You are correct newspeedwayboogie2
(April 17th)
I just found it laughable that the mm's paid me $4.25 with the bid at 4.10 and ask 4.25.
Dino
Looks like someone needs to buy shares today. The bid was 4.10 ask 4.25 when I put a 500 share sell at 4.20. 100 shares filled at 4.20 and 400 filled at the ask 4.25.
I hate to sell a single share but needed the cash.
Dino
p.s if cxo was shorting maybe the pressure of the lawsuit will force them to cover.
This worthless "discussion" began with dyna accusing Torvec of posting here........
And ended with dyna post to trucker 11,302....
<< I agree trucker. I know they do not post here. >>
Dino
If anyone is interested we are referenced on the UK Torotrak board. re.think
lhasa will you provide the link?
Dino
Nice to have you back eom.
Post it dyna eom.
Thank you Tor, I did not make any poor remarks about Mr. Horton. Everyone here should know that even dyna and Letrim.
Either one of you 2 POST IT if I did.
Dino
P.S. JG has never even mentioned Mr. Horton in any conversation I have ever had with him.
Congratulations Detective Spock
I hope you were able to pick up those extra shares you were talking about. I like your positive attitude.
Dino
Torvecian, I wanted to give it some thought before I replyed but I keep coming back to Conboys group Brighton Securities. All in IMO.
Dino
Sounds to me like you are suggesting the Gleasmans will act like 3 year olds instead of responsible executives. Thumbs down to your amen.
Dino
Too funny Dread eom.
Didn't sound insignificant to me either eom.
I was wondering if they were counting on them to hedge a short position.
Dino
Thanks for the reply
and thanks for referencing post 10916, obviously I did not read it when you posted it. Now I know who the shareholder was who suggested cxo to the Gleasmans.
Dino
P.S. I am glad the Gleasmans spent the money on lawyers. If they took the heat for hiring cxo they certainly deserve praise for the decision to successfully appeal.
EOM to you also.
Does anyone on this board personally know the large shareholder who recommended cxo to the Gleasmans?
Dino
Thanks Dread, seems as thou dyna felt I thought it was him
You of all people know I have had my share of deleted posts directed my way. Is conversate a word?
Dino
I am not sure either, excellent post, we will find out soon. I am sure thou that it will be a well thought out decision if management does proceed.
<< I'm not sure whether TOVC should spend another penny legally pursuing this matter any further >>
Gee another deleted post 11013 directed to me. Now who would do such a thing.
Dino
One has to wonder if cxo was playing on both sides of the fence by shorting Torvec. Also the effect losing all those shares in todays ruling would have in maintaining a short position or trying to cover a short position.
Dino
We should also hear if Torvec intends to proceed with a lawsuit now that their cross motion was granted.
<< the court abused its discretion in denying the cross motion of plaintiffs for leave to amend their reply to the counterclaims to include FRAUD in the inducement as an affirmative defense >>
Dino
I agree allnumbers
There is no way an intelligent shareholder can minimize the signifigance to Torvec of todays court ruling.
Dino
Dread if you are not too far into your celebration cups. I also know I am asking this question on St. Patricks eve. to boot.
Re. Board info Judge Issues Stay........message # 11658743
40,000 + 245,000 + 511,200 = 796,200 shares x todays close $4.55 = $3,622,710.00
Did we just save over 3.6 million dollars in stock equity?
Dino
Ok TOR, Buh Buh BYE cxo
TORVEC WON.............................................
Dino
Yes Torvec Won EOM
Torvecian any thoughts on share price impact in the future when shorts are forced to start covering because things did not turn out the way they had planned?
Buh Bye cxo
OT dyna you said you have a photo memory. I posted to you long ago that I do not care to correspond with you.
Buh bye cxo
