It's just Diwan wasting no time on selling his $2M worth. The market will eventually see this was the most cost effective approach on the cGMP facility. This period, which I believe will not last more than a few weeks, is probably the last great buying opportunity in this stock.
You're not really basing your investment decisions on Harry Dent are you? Remember his DOW 40,000 call by 2009? Dent is full of crap --

The cGMP facility arrangements are all you need to see to know that things are progressing. Probably less than 2 yrs to clinical trials. We have already been told that Phase 1 clinical is the point in time when it is most advantageous to hook up with a large partner. Where do you think stock will be when we approach that time? I'd be willing to bet we'll be closer to $10 than $1, and that would be just the beginning. Actually I did bet, I just bought more at $1.26.
You are implying that flu vaccines are 100% effective. Not even close, and flu strains are constantly evolving.
Thanks but don't you think we will have a much higher share count by then?
Doc, did you mean to say $100 stock? If not I'm wondering if you could give me a rough template of how we get there. I don't want to underestimate the potential.
I didn't have you in mind for the "unfounded" part. I agree with the essence of your post regarding the influence on stock price.
I was responding to this part of your post in which it sounded very much like you didn't understand that point --
Are you really that naive? It's precisely because there are "so many novice investors and weak hands" here that he makes all of his unfounded, "derogatory and inflammatory" comments. It pays, or he wouldn't do it. This tactic is repeated by short sellers in hundreds of penny stocks every day. Don't be fooled by his comment that this forum has no effect on the stock price. If that were true, he wouldn't spend so much time and effort here day after day after day.....
Much bigger than we think?? Give me a break, the stock trades an average of $400-$500k a day. It's not some mysterious, nebulous figure, it is easily quantified. So yes, at that level a single trader can influence the stock price, and (obviously) even more so a gathering of investors on a particular web site.
I didn't ask for permission to post the exchange so I am not comfortable doing that as the good Dr. was gracious enough to respond. But I will summarize one of the points.... I have a family member that is very sick with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Recent research suggests that the XMRV virus may be responsible and so I basically asked if they were doing/planning any work in that area. His response was that the link between XMRV and CFS still needed to be proven. But interestingly, he alluded to the fact that they had offered one of their drugs to the leading researcher in that area for testing but that said researcher was not quite ready for it yet. I was thoroughly impressed that contacts had been established and that some consideration had already been given to opportunities in this area. If the connection between XMRV and CFS is proven, the target market is estimated at 1 to 4 million people just in the U.S. There is also some concern that XMRV may be in the blood supply, so I'm thinking there may be opportunities there as well. But all this is probably well down the road. Have to cure the world of a few other ailments first.
I got an answer to a question from Dr. Seymour within a couple of hrs. I dare say that is fairly responsive.
Doc, you know the issue will just keep changing. You are tireless.
If you have lots of experience in the drug business then you know you won't be getting the chemical formula for a unit of the drug.
He SAYS he doesn't believe it, there's a difference.
Extreme demand from short sellers? That is laughable. The current short interest on the stock barely registers at a meager
1.5%. The latest report has short interest down by about 200,000 shares.
How did you miss all the positive ones?
I didn't see that picture before. The man you see today as Dr. Menon is an impersoator. The real Dr. Menon was killed in a tragic car accident 5 yrs ago. The patents he was about to file were burned in the wreckage. So you are right, those degrees don't apply to whoever is posing as the current "Dr. Menon".
you guys are killin me... now it's the number of patents you can't verify. Next....
Could be, but the stock can go up a LOT in the mean time on progress toward that end.
that would be why the stock is at a buck and change. It's going to take a little time. Still, odds are that it is a matter of when not if.

Current market cap is $158M not $200M. Average 3 month vol is 300,000 sh not 500,000. Days to cover is double your claim (actually reported at 11 not 4). I hope your attention to detail is better in your other investments. I find it hard to understand why someone would want to short a stock that you could wake up to one morning and see a 100% increase on a major deal with big pharma. I'm guessing that is why the short interest is so low at less than 1.5%.
It appears some people will say anything to serve their own personal financial interests. It's clear there are some pro shorts on the board and that they will say absolutely anything to advance their goal, including posing as various professionals with inside knowledge. Some cannot even remember their own lies which has been duly noted. Everything these posters say should be taken in that context.
That can typically happen when there is a large bid under the market.
Because it ran up in advance on leaks of this news. Interesting that the traders that had this info ahead of time were likely participating at prices above $1.20, thinking it would go even higher when the news hit.
