It seems like the GOO can be "spun" on so many different devices in the semi-conductor industry.
Wherever chips will go the GOO will FLOW = UBIQUITOUS.
L_R
Why would a foundry partner with LWLG if it is not possible to scale their product. What purpose would this serve?
L_R
Do you mean like the 190 institutions that have already bought in?
Will they buy more?
Are there others waiting to get in?
Do you have any feelings about this?
L_R
Lets look at this sensibly:
1) The demand from Tier 1's and potential customers for solutions to speed, size and energy reductions is NOW.
2) Photonic's fast switching is the only answer for the future currently before us.
3) Lightwave Logic has the GOO (perkanamine) to do the job.
4) Yes competitors are out there but they are several years or more behind. Do they have a GOO that works? Nothing close!
5) Lightwave has proven prototypes that work, breaking world records verified by 3rd party(s). At least two.
6) Foundries are returning their devices (modulators) made from LWLG's recipes for verification with Lightwave Logic.
7) ML has indicated that these devices that are being returned to them are looking really good and performing well ASM '22
8) Lightwave Logic has a good record of meeting goals. Of the 8 goals stated in ASM '21, 6 of those goals had been met by ASM '22. This is really good progress. Should we expect more of the same?
At the very least Lightwave Logic is well entrenched with the foundries and are the only ones capable of meeting the demands that are being presented to the Foundries at this moment in time.
Okay place your bets. Join the 190 institutions.
Where else or who else would you go to at this time that has a record of progress anywhere close to Lightwave Logic? Anybody?

Ted:
So how does this work being long and being short at the same time? Is it like a snake swallowing its own tail?
L_R
Dearest Tedpeele:
Very will done! Bravo!
However, not one quote is from the company or ML which means we have a bit over zealous posting being done by enthusiastic posters.
A "September to Remember" was enthusiastically grasped and interpreted by investors as the time the foundries would be signing contracts. But nothing from Lebby suggested this.
The ONLY company in the world that can do the job and meet the current demands of industry is LWLG. It is a good place to park your money.
Lightning_Rod
I think the poster is trying to redefine "scalability" in making reference to Shannon's Limit. This is a non sequitur argument. Of course those who do know about Shannon's theoretical limit might also know about theoretical models that propose cutting through this limit using the "delay overlap method". Its been around for 20 years.
The investors on this board are not that stupid.
Lightning_Rod
Shannon’s limit is often referred to as channel capacity as I understand it.
L_R
This interview was done before ECOC.
But thanks for the link.
L_R
Channel Limit.
L_R
Thank you for this informative post.
ML is a savvy man.
Lightning_Rod
Really? 18 times?
Add GOO to your coffee. Swallow whole.
You should be able to think 10x faster with 1/3 of the energy with only a need to transmit once at lighting speed.

Investment Summary
From 40 institutions to 170 institutions invested in LWLG was mentioned at the ASM in the spring.
Let's call this an active increase in numbers from this "passive" investing community.
Lightning_Rod
There you go. Now you're talking.
Lightning_Rod
Excellent post and review. On our way!

Apologies Abig:
I didn't read your satire correctly. The comment left on my post to you should have been meant for you know who.
Lightning_Rod
Dearest Abig:
It it operates well at the highest temperatures it is a known fact that it will perform well at any of the lower temperatures. Standard testing procedures across the scientific community.
I wish not to insult your intelligence but really? This was an innane comment which no one will take seriously.
The Dr is in.
Lightning-Rod
You are kidding nobody.
Lightning_Rod
3000 hours of testing translates to about 8 years of continuous operation.
Standard statistical procedures.
My background is Mathematics (Statistics)

Dearest tedpeele:
If you would have taken the time to go through the AGM video presentation you would have discovered that the modulators are now being tested in real world applications.
Go back and listen carefully. I just finished listening to the AGM presentation for the 4th time.
The prototypes come from the Foundry(s) back to Lightwave where they are tested. Some of the prototypes are being utilized now in real world applications. If the customer is satisfied with its performance well things move ahead don't they.
Lightning_Rod
Scientific Journal Really?
Suggesting that a company must have a scientific journal article printed on their product or they are not somehow legit is quite irrelevant to the current situation.
It seems much more appropriate to do things in order and to have their product tested by independent 3rd parties (which has been done a couple of times already) with results revealed by the company as they wish.
They are not required to produce results in a scientific journal and if they wanted to, this would likely happen well after the testing had been completed not before or during.
Seems like a non sequitur to demand a scientific paper in a science journal this early on. Of course I am assuming you are referring to the products just recently tested.
Lightning_Rod
Ha! Ha! I come to this board for the entertainment and a good laugh. Thanks KCCO7913
Yes the domino illustration is a good one. Before the first one can be knocked down you have to set up all the others in a row. That takes time of course but once they are standing the first one to go sets the cascade of dominoes in motion AND it will happen quickly. Too late to get in then and too late to cover.
Lightning_Rod
The prototypes of LWLG's modulators have been in the foundry(s) and the data coming back from testing is looking good. This from last spring. This stuff is happening now.
I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of a trade.
Lightning_Rod
I think he meant "would an 8K be needed?"
L_R
Exactly. That is what most of us believe about "mindblowing".
Lightning_Rod
Substantial post.
Revenue this year with the signing by 2 foundries.
Lightning_Rod
Mindblowing:
Something that the mind would not have conceived possible at this early stage of the photonics revolution but voila........ here it is in front of you....... performing well beyond highest expectations, and yes coming to a neighbourhood near you.
Party Time coming.
Lightning_Rod
China's economic situation is desperate and more so because of the Ukraine Russian war. The demographics alone suggests an economic collapse is coming. The housing market is collapsing and of course they have no solutions for Covid or other pandemics heading their way. Lockdown is their only solution. Expect more of the same going forward.
Their chip industry is also suffering from the same situation as found in the USA and Europe. However, we have options that they do not have.
JMO
Lightning_Rod
So a demonstration of a foundry made unit attached to some measuring devices of a third independent party that could illustrate energy usage and speed would not require an 8K and yet would be mindblowing in terms of what ML might have meant. I would think the industry and investors would sit up and take note. It would be enough for Tier 1 attendees to give this serious consideration. JMO.
Lightning_Rod
MINDBLOWING could mean a lot of things to a lot of people. It is not defined by ML so we are left to guess.
It could simply be a test that demonstrates its robust nature and true to what has been advertised. Supposing it is attached to a device that kicks out actual speed and energy usage metrics and if it is announced as coming from a foundry then I suspect the industry would sit up and take notice. Many would consider this mindblowing in and of itself. Lets see what happens at ECOC and decide if the demonstration is in fact mindblowing.
Lightning_Rod
Greener for now yes but .......
The truth of the matter is that a more robust system will eventually fill up with usage because of increased demand (create the availability and we will find more applications to fill up the bandwith once again i.e rise of AI) and our energy consumption will rise to meet the new demands of the network.
Lightning_Rod.
Simpler in design ......... or simpler to apply on surfaces
Easier to manufacture......or easier to incorporate in existing systems.
Who knows exactly what these are qualifying.
Lightning_Rod
Lewrock:
Never thought of it that way..... politically speaking. One cannot live without the other. Ha!

Sorry to hear about this accident re: your brother. This comes with a prayer and hope for a full recovery.

You are welcome to read through all the posts below and it you will figure it out quickly. Nothing to do with news Nothing to do with any problems. Just a normal drop that occurs from shorting. Enjoy.
