VLXC possibly "bright day on the way"
Please visit www.veltexcorporation.com to learn more.
Veltex Corporation (OTC: VLXC) has an exceptional management team, excellent profit margins, and is now positioned to become a major player in the multi-billion dollar apparel market. As a matter of fact, its distribution company alone could become a $100 million sales entity over the next few years. We are very enthusiastic about the dynamic growth possibilities of Veltex and the incredible appreciation potential.
RECENT FINANCIAL RESULTS
On October 10, 2005 Veltex Corporation reported (unaudited) revenue of $16,740,888 for the third quarter of 2005 and net pre-tax income of $3,318,177. First half revenue is restated at $25,956,800 and includes $7,795,800 from Velvet Textile Mills that was omitted from the previous press release solely based on the fact that those figures had not yet been finalized at the time of publication. Net income from the Mill for the same period was $1,637,118. Revenue for the first three quarters of 2005 is $42,697,688 and income is $6,311,295.

hapslap, if you believe that it's a scam, what have you done so far, other than post on this forum?
Have you gone to the SEC? What do you think they'll tell you (probably "invest at your own risk" - unless you have evidence showing fraud - which you do not!)
We see no allegations by the SEC that VELTEX or Management thereof have committed fraud.
We see no evidence by objective sources of any Fraud.
LEGAL WARNING:
You should be careful. If you falsely accuse, you'll be committing the crime called "LIBEL" which is analagous to "SLANDER", the difference is that it's in writing.
Would you consider to make it 10% or more of your portfolio and average down? If yes, at what price would you enter in for more?
It seems what Veltex needs is some good OBJECTIVE PUBLICITY. If for example, Veltex was highlighted in a business section of a local, or national, newspaper displaying attractive features of investing in VELTEX.
It seems that the posters on this board are too lazy to try to encourage their local newspapers to run a spot about VELTEX. They'd rather just continue getting immediate gratification on Ihub with posting comments and replies with no real reaction from the general public outside of this forum, which can have a massive impact on stock performance.
Any suggestions?
Why do we always see shiny press releases flaunting about how Revenues are on the rise but the stock performance is the exact opposite?
Can anyone explain this without accusing the company or Matin negatively of any sort of scam?
Rawnut thinks this is a scam. If this is true than noone seems to be buying into the so-called scam, right? If it were a scam, the incentive would be to make the stock rise along with the "good news" because the insiders holding stock would be losing on their shares that they own if the stock price decreased. (Yes I understand the idea that maybe the company needs money to keep afloat - that's another theory as well, but remember that the insiders in the company most likely own much more than all of us combined - it is to their benefit to see a rising share price.)
If the company was in desperate need for money, we'd see much higher volumes for much more cash infusion, right? Unless, the company is gradually dumping shares to "squeeze water from a rock".
MOST LIKELY SCENARIO:
It seems that the selling is due to margin calls (investors being forced to sell to pay debt). These investors are most likely involuntarily selling at these low prices.
Is it really fair to panic when the volume is so low?
VLXC can easily jump a buck or more because it's so thinly traded. All you need is one major buyer (at the current price it looks like high gains are highly probable for recent entrants into VLXC stock)
Welcome Back Pual, We missed you. Here's a recap of what happened while you were gone:
Rawnut still thinks he has some points about the stock slump but doesn't take into account the following:
It is market related event (margin traders forced to sell)
Volume is too low for any panic to be justified
Audited Financials may be coming out soon
Trade shows expected to yield pleasant news
We are currenlty in the sleepy summer months
2007 should be Exciting time for loyal shareholders
Attention: Please post your forecasts for what you expect the price will be 1,2, and 3 months from now and reasons why, if possible.
Thank you.
Bangladesh targets 11.5 bln USD export for fiscal year 2006-07
Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has set an export target of 11.5 billion U.S. dollars for the current fiscal year 2006-07 on the back of a huge success in export earning in the last fiscal year.
The Daily Star reported Wednesday that the export target of 11. 5 billion dollars for the current fiscal year (July 2006-June 2007) is around 1.34 billion dollars more than that in the last fiscal year.
The EPB has also fixed 13.11 billion dollars and 15.21 billion dollars targets for the fiscal years 2007-08 (July 2007-June 2008) and 2008-09 respectively.
According to EPB data, Bangladesh's export saw the highest-ever surge in terms of volume in fiscal 2005-06, fetching 10.5 billion dollars, a increase of about 1.8 billion dollars over the previous year.
Mir Shahabuddin Mohammad, vice chairman of EPB, attributed the achievement in the last fiscal year to the outstanding performances in some major exporting sectors such as RMG (ready- made garments) and leather and leather goods.
To achieve the target set for fiscal year 2006-07, the vice- chairman said that the government would give more priority to ceramic, pharmaceuticals, melamine, light engineering, plastic, agro-based products and shrimp.
Besides, investment in the RMG sector increased substantially, which may result in higher export growth in the current fiscal, he said.
According to EPB data, the United States remained the single largest destination for Bangladeshi goods fetching around 3 billion dollars in fiscal 2005-06. Around 52 percent of the total earning came from the European Union countries.
The vice-chairman said, "We have to diversify our export market to increase earning."
Citing an example, he said Malaysia has 42 trade facilitation offices around the world, which helps the country post tremendous export growth. He said, "Along with our foreign missions we have to launch this type of trade promotional offices to promote Bangladeshi goods."

OT: India to work with Bangladeshi Government
Bangladesh polls evoke interest, says Ahamed Haroon Habib
Stable Bangladesh is in the interest of not only India but of the region.
We will work with any chosen government It is in mutual interest to curb extremist beliefs
DHAKA: India will work with any government the people of Bangladesh elect in the January 2007 elections, Minister of State for External Affairs E. Ahamed said on Tuesday.
Mr. Ahamed, who is here to attend the SAARC Council of Ministers meeting, was speaking at a luncheon meeting hosted by India-Bangladesh friendship organisations.
"There is already an intense debate in Bangladesh on the coming election. I must admit that there is also a keen interest in India... We hope that the next general election will be truly free and fair." A stable, secular and democratic Bangladesh was in the interest of not only India but of the region.
India attached the highest importance to its relations with Bangladesh. "This sentiment is shared by all, cutting across party lines."
On terrorism, Mr. Ahamed said it posed the greatest danger to the peaceful and stable existence of nation-states in the world. "We believe Bangladesh should and can set an example to others. It is in our mutual interest to cooperate and work to curb the rise of fundamentalist and extremist beliefs."
Differences natural
On disputes between India and Bangladesh over outstanding issues, he said as neighbours it was natural that differences arose and these could be resolved only through dialogue and understanding. "Once we are committed to working together meaningfully, we can hope to work for resolution of complex issues."
Prof. A.K. Azad Chowdhury, president, Bangladesh Bharat Maitri Samiti; Justice K.M. Sobhan, president, Bangladesh Bharat Sampriti Parishad;
Maj. Gen (retd.). K.M. Shafiullah, convener, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Kalyan Foundation, and Indian High Commissioner Veena Sikri were present.
