CBD vaporizer:
So I went to my neighbourhood corner store to get a pack of extra large rolling papers to go with my Tweed order that just arrived in the mail. Call me naive, but I was surprised to see behind the counter preloaded CBD vaporizers for $15 from a company called CBD Disposal @ CBD-Disposable.com . Complete with a postered endorsement from many doctors and none other than Dr. Sanjay Goupta! List price $15.
So I'm confused as to why CGC and other Lp's are still being boxed out of a market, complying with regulations, while free and unfair market reigns.
My hope is that the August 25 deadline will be the first phase of opening the floodgates to access of folks to Lp's with the widest range of products.

I made a error comparing ounces to lbs. oops.
I still think the best investment is in the Board of Directors who are steering this ship through uncharted territory. They are not only adapting, but also setting the pace and determining many outcomes. No one knows exactly what to expect come August 25, neither April 20, 2017. And based on a snippet of this board alone, there are many vastly different opinions and expectations as to which way that will be. CGC will prove their weight in Gold, or Bud (which by the way is worth more monetarily), which ever one prefers by being ready for those changes and continue to lead with the best there is to offer.

Exactumundo ! Even if the distribution model varies from province to province, the federal PRIORITY is to restrict and regulate like alcohol and tobacco! Even dispensaries will have to comply with regulations. Like I said before , the dispensary I visited could not tell me where the product came from or what the potency was of anything! Not cool.
oh ya, Bruce Linton , CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation has also phoned in to this national radio program to speak to the issue. Happy Listening.

I think there is still some good news to be expected. Quarterly May 25, MMPR re write and quarterly due August 25, international pursuits, acquisitions, production license increases and further milestones. All leading up to the "introduction " of the legalization into parliament . It may be another three months after until it's actually written into law. All the while, CGC and investors will be patiently growing the platform.
General Curiosity:
With the expectation of a legalization bill in the next 364 days, what type of increase in operation costs might investors expect? CGC will be advising Brands to grow and prepare products and customer services perhaps tenfold beyond the current medical market. The May Sayers will pop up after the quarterlies underlining the increase in expenses and cry wolf over its sustainability. What may be the best or most reasonable level of spending to meet and perhaps exceed the tsunami of demand that will follow legalization? Acquisitions cost, growth costs, product development costs etc, etc.
On another note, I read your post about your experience with intoxication and functionality. I personally recommend high CBD potency for anyone concerned with cannabis socially, because (personally) I find it balances out the nervousness that can sometimes come from a pure THC strain.
Tomorrow, April 22, is the British Parliament second reading to the cannabis legalization bill. You had put the link up to the first reading. Very interesting.

I like that all the big news networks are starting to broadcast what Canada plans to do! NBC is covering it. Soon Bruce will be all over the air waves. Im sure he will use this momentum to propel CGC forward.

Now that the pharmacies are seeing how lucrative the pot market is they want a piece off he pie.

I asked Canada post today how much it cost to send my order from Smith Falls to my address, express post, signature required. Turns out to be about $16. Roughly 10% of my order.
I think that's a lot. CGC must have some sort of corporate deal, or frequent postal miles or something. It says free, but nothing is free really in the business world.
This might be the reason they so quickly did away with the extra extra packaging and gigantic box, and instead went with a tailored size quality minimalist packaging.
In speculation land, tomorrow is the governments day to choose wether to appeal or not. If CGC doesn't have to mail order, and gets the opportunity to stock Main Street locations, those excess shipping costs can be saved.

CANNABIS MOVES FROM BACK ALLEY TO MAIN STREET
https://www.tweed.com/blogs/vault/113307076-cannabis-moves-from-back-alley-to-main-street#oht:lang=en-us
Why cannabis was ever ruled illegal in Canada is clouded in mystery. The year was 1923 and the country – a young, cold and pastoral nation of 9 million souls – ruled by William Lyon Mackenzie King, Canada’s tenth and longest-serving prime minister, had that year tabled the Act to Prohibit the Improper Use of Opium and Other Drugs, which outlawed morphine, cocaine, opium and eucane, a local anesthetic used in veterinary medicine.
Does anyone here recall Bruce in at least one public interview saying, " What we want to do is bring the conversation about cannabis to the Main Street."
I think it was on bnn or something.
It's all up in the air which way distribution will go, but Tweed is ready.

This opinion piece by Tina Frasier is very interesting. Where I think she emphasizes best is that no matter what type of, it is CLEAR that regulation and not deregulation is the future of cannabis legalization.
Following your observation, last year Tweed Lot#3 had an 11% CBD content. Today it is 13%. So yes, it would seem that they are defineatly gearing their strains towards specific cannabinoid content that patients require, while improving yeild and lowering cost at the same time. Indoor harvest started the last round with tweed last october, i believe , and theyve reported the results are confirming their projected hypothesis. Another LP has a 25% CBD, 1% THC strain that I would like to have, and I would also like to see Tweed with something similar. Ultimately, either a blend of or a specific combination strain in every range of variables is a great way to cover tha market with a Canopy

I think those international obligations might have been met, if the same three officers are the ones mentioned in this article
Exactly! I prefer Cannabis Over Codeine and Cyclobenzaprine. At least a DIN
Personally, tweed lot#3 and strains like it are Amazing for my condition. THC strains are near opposite. That's anecdotal to a physician. This type of work is great. The McGill trials are similar
That song sound like a case of depression to me. Normally cured with alcohol, or worsened depending on dosage. I get that u enjoy going against the grain. . A great conversation starter. Otherwise consensus is an admirable goal.
Anyhow. Gw trials with CBD could be a great precursor for Bedrocan
Otherwise healthy people getting high is not therapy. It's recreation. Folks in medical need of "detatchment" is medicinal. You can debate the symptoms of war, and I hope you foster world peace. My brother could come home. But for this comment, it refers to medical Mj coverage for veterans and citizens
I think your intentionally misconstruing the topic.
Getting high is a RecMj problem, not subject to coverage for anyone. The topic is Med MJ, and People have health care coverage for that. Cannabis should be included.
My opinion is more on the medicine, and yes, I do think veterans deserve proper coverage, the same way institutionalize criminals do. It's called humanity. French

Great article highlighting the bull sh in cannabis stigma. High CBD low THC strains are great for anxiety , depression and PTSD. But instead, judgmental a$$holes want to tell veterans that hv paid their dues, which colourful pill is better than the green herb.
Great job veterans affairs for getting the ball rolling for its members.
There's a whole lot of people that can't or won't, telling rightful people not to. Fk,EM

"We are currently wrapping up a second cannabis production pilot with Canopy Growth in Canada, and are pleased to announce that the data thus far appears to confirm our previous outstanding performance results. We continue to partner with Canopy Growth and expect to move towards our previously announced economic pilot and system installation later this year. We have also begun discussions with other licensed and license-pending producers under Health Canada's Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) program."
Vancouver set to "enforce " regulations 4-20, UN drug conference the day before 4/19.
And still waiting on Philpot wether Gov will appeal Allard, which I hope they don't. If they do it may be to buy time. Silly move into.
How can Vancouver of all places be looking to regulate and restrict dispensaries while making other places like Ottawa seem impotent? Strange things are happening.
I suspect the liberals will make the same bold statements they made during the electoral campaign at this UN summit. Many other nations will do the same , and many others, once cowered by Uncle Sams War on Minorities ( I mean Drugs ) , will find the same boldness to declare the same.
The liberals know it's not enough to make loud and bold declarations on this. Citizens can't use electoral promises as public policy.
However we want to moan about it, the meat is in the Legislation and regulations. How will the boarders be managed for import/exports. Lawyers have to do a sniff test.
Maybe get the MedMJ house in order first, and then expand on that frame work, such as a separate distribution model, and without insurance coverage. Similar to just opening up the MMPR to everyone now if it were to have not been struck down
I have one of these. The black, not snoop branded. Works great. Smooth. Buds last long. Built in safety features. No coil. Chargeable. Battery life for days.
Maybe putting snoop products in shop is a bit premature if it's a RecMj move. Snoop needs a med angle branding. He has a scrip.
