A beautiful tribute to the fallen.

OPTT just looked and it must be just profit taking after a 1 day 100%+ move.
OPTT Just read your post, what happened today with it?
SCONI haven't had it since earlier in Oct when I took the gain.
APPY Sheff with 10% short of float - http://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=appy
you can bet it will be a pitch battle. If the pricing of the shares is $1.9 (cash/share is 1.36) you will likely see covering, imho but if the pricing is 1.75 you will likely see them piling on and asserting pressure, and a good opportunity will present itself.
Interesting - conflict. I just got a small chunk back today just to raise my awareness to watch it, but also laid in a nearby stop just in case.
BOL on it for all involved in it.
MSTX Good volume today 50% higher than the 20MA vol for the stock
MSTX Oct6th **article but a $3 SP target, with the current SP at .53 it has a lot of room north.

MSTX Oct 6th article this .53 stock has now a $3 SP target and if it gets to 1/3 of that it will nearly double
MSTX Older Oct article but worth the read with a $3 SP target, with the current SP at .53 it has a lot of room north.

Oh ema not sma interesting, I will look at it on my various charts, since EMA is weighted toward the more recent averaging vs the SMA. Interesting time frame. TYVM
DA the 400MA is an interesting twist.
SQNM looking at a 10 year chart it is very near the 10yr low as a 5 of value.
It would seem as though the downside is far less risk than the upside. I bought one of 3 chunks today to see if my thought holds.
RTN thanks for the heads up, now to wait.

DA - I always follow $$$ CFM and VOl, imho those are fundamental to charts.
Off to golf, BOL

DA - based on your chart looks like the 12.10 area would be next in line, however you look at it for now, it seems we are range bound. Should be a good channel trade opportunity, for those who got in a bit ago in the 10s.
**D*A** yes that too, (on open market), would be very helpful, but until the cheap stock options stop being issued and dumped you are not too likely to see much of that. I think the shorts rely on the current activity as support for their positions. Management always seems to be selling, but in reality it is just part of their pay packages/ after freebie options and stock awards lol I thought having the Pres buy was a good move and as you imply it kicked us up a bit recently when he did.
HOVA - I have thought/posted for months now that $10-12 was the bottom range, and thus far it is holding up well, even with that BS piper put out. I would bet they had it shorted very heavily just prior to the article; it figures with such a high % of the float continually short that they somehow would do that.
If they announce a divy, or a plus EPS for a few quarters it would almost surely slow the shorts wayyyyyy down and jack the SP up to the high teens. jmho
RTN - having a good day for sure. Thanks again for the reminder.
HOVA imho this is the best part of that article (now a sticky)- thanks for the post:
Investor Relations' Response
The most puzzling statement regarding the Piper claim was that Clean Energy doesn't sell CNG fuel. In reality, around 70% of the business is currently CNG related due to a strong refuse, transit, and airport transportation business. The director of investor relations apparently made the following statement to StreetInsider:
The Piper analyst was completely incorrect and incredibly irresponsible in putting out that note.
We think the future will be a combination of CNG and LNG (lots of reasons for LNG including range, weight, and station costs).
But, for the sake of argument, let's say it goes 100% CNG:
GREAT!
70% of our business is CNG.
We've built more CNG stations than the rest of the industry combined.
We spent $140 million on a world-class compressor company in anticipation of a huge surge in CNG infrastructure build out.
CNG pipelines only run in urban areas. The only way to get CNG fuel to rural and highway truck stops is through L/CNG. All of our LNG stations are designed to have this capability.
To back up the claims of investor relations, one only needs to review the quarterly reports from Clean Energy to see that results are routinely filled with more CNG related deals. Below are a few snippets from the Q2 report on CNG deals:
SCON Haven't returned to it since the auto profit, hasn't dipped much like I was hoping, still waiting for a dip lower. Don't want to give up what I made a short time ago. RTN thanks for reminding me though.

ETRM I was a bit too early - entered 1.22 a while back and profit exited at 1.42 while I was trying to lower my golf score yesterday. Oh well 16% is far better than some I have had, that is for sure. I will have to regroup on it and see when/if I should reenter at some time over the next month.
BOL - I am sure many of you made far more that me, and Kudos for it.

Whass - the charts and the analysis is based on the historic movement of oscillators for various time frames. The analysis I post is always just a near term projection based on yesterday's data. Charts may, or may not, continue a short term trend. Range bound stocks have a range hi and low, which form channel support and resistance levels.
*Unfortunately, current NEWS articles, and new worry will always take priority over yesterday's oscillator moves.
Personally, I am still looking at a 10 area for a bottom, but obviously we will have to see.
I will put up a weekly chart for you to look at, it will span a far longer time frame. Disregard the oscillators, since they are intended for daily charts.
Jld - jmho- some of it is the latest top 12 list the other day where a broker/analyst put CLNE on its top 12 to sell. Some of it is worry, if there is a further recession, due to the shut down, or a default. Default would likely send the economy and Oil in for a dive, as our S&P rating would likely go down and the market then in general. Plussss NG almost never does well when Oil dives,NG becomes less competitive, hence CLNE would be affected and the cry for clean is drown out by the Cheaper oil price.
Imo the biggest hit was making the top 12 sell list the other day. Imo it is likely also a bit of crap, but CLNE SP still has to fight against sideways trading for months and a range bound stock with no divy and a VERY HIGH short of float %. CLNE is not in great shape to do so. *Keep your eye on the short of float % on Finviz/yahoo. When there is a bad climate and some bad news the shorts further drive the SP down and sometimes in heavily shorted stocks even pull a bear raid many times.
I am long term and will be more inclined to average down as this settles. As usual we shall see! jmho
BOL
CVM agree - though scalping could be ok, but not much else for a while.
rtn yes it did not trade the way I would have liked toward the close; however it did finish the day with a higher high and slightly higher low than the previous day, so today should confirm, or deny yesterdays move, so it will be on a leash for sure.
rtn your pic looks to be an early bird special, 1-2 sessions, assuming it edges north very slightly it could well move farther soon/this week. Got some based on that supposition. jmho TY
TY king. Just chipping away at my huge GTXI paper loss, said it would take months a while back and unfortunately I was/am still correct on that poor trading. I think I have eaten away at maybe 20% of my loss on paper so it goes on and on.
RTN thanks for the heads up on it. You pushed for quite a while until I finally entered lol. TY
hog you will likely get it, just want to lock it in fwiw and not sure of what is going on so I thought it might just be technical. BOL bud
SCON <link back> 8% exit at 1.77 today. Left some on the table, poor trading and not watching.
SCON exited with 8% gain at 1.77 today. Left some on the table, just not quick enough unfortunately.
RNN just exited my second half with a 16.48% gain. Nice short term hold.
jbme777 I believe you are correct.
MSTX Took 16.69% gain on 1/2 of position. Looks good to ride for a while.
"Mast Therapeutics (MSTX) focuses on developing therapies for serious or life-threatening diseases. Its lead product candidate includes MST-188, a product candidate that has hemorheologic, cytoprotective, and anti-inflammatory properties, which is in phase 3 study for the treatment of sickle cell disease in patients. I rarely cover stocks that sell for less than $1 a share, but I will make an exception for this speculative biotech play.
One very interesting thing about Mast is that its entire market capitalization is represented by the net cash on its balance sheet after a recent secondary offering. The other thing that caught my eye on this stock was a report from Canaccord Genuity this week on this fifty cent a share stock. The analyst firm initiated the shares with a whopping $3 a share price target. Its analyst noted "We think MST-188 could gain significant market share given the unmet need in SCD and potential combo-Tx. Our $3.00 target is based on NPV analysis."
This is a speculative play for patient long term investors. Even Canaccord's analyst does not see a launch of MST-188 until 2017, although he also puts eventual peak sales at $400mm annually. Only three analysts cover this ~$50mm market capitalization concern. Their price targets range from $1 to $3 a share."

RNN 11.7% gain took 1/2 of position on a short term gain.
SCON <link back to open> 2x the 20MA for volume, great call on the break out RTN looks like it is moving and may bounce off the $2 before long, if the volume holds, it has been range bound for a decent amount of time so that is a plus!jmho
BOL
RTN - I agree - SCON seems recently to be bouncing around lately, so perhaps it is very nearly ready to move up. This is the second time very recently it has been trading in the .70s area so that may well be a new base area; if so I think you are correct on the breakout or at least a spike into the low-mid 80s, more if we are lucky. jmho
Ksquared yes their is a (satire disclaimer at the bottom of the article,)luckily for America.
The latest Move Pres. Moron did:
http://minutemennews.com/2013/09/obama-declares-november-national-muslim-appreciation-month/
whas imho it is just more of the same range bound stuff we continue to see until we get a ++++EPS on increased revs, and or a dividend, I think we will continue with fits and starts and short rallys and dips, imo mostly due to the large position of the float taken by shorts.
I am just bidding my time, we too will have a day in the sun!
