HISC??? Security Stocks Up on New Bin Laden Tape
Thursday January 19, 5:11 pm ET
Security Stocks Rally As Osama Bin Laden Purportedly Warns of New Attacks
NEW YORK (AP) -- Security stocks rallied Thursday after Al-Jazeera aired an audiotape from Osama bin Laden, saying al-Qaida is preparing for more attacks within the United States.
Bin Laden offered a possible truce to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, and warned heightened security is not the reason al-Qaida has not launched more attacks since Sept. 11, 2001. The tape, which was authenticated by the CIA, went on to claim planning for an attack -- which takes time -- is well underway.
As with past statements from al-Qaida, Wall Street reacted swiftly, with investors snapping up shares of security-related companies. However, the broader market had no reaction after the statement was reported by American media.
Shares of companies that provide Homeland Security products -- such as surveillance or explosives detection -- spiked in afternoon trading. Companies that supply the majority of their services in Iraq and Afghanistan also edged higher.
Among the biggest movers in the sector was explosives equipment maker Isonics Corp. Shares of the Golden, Colo.-based company rose 14 cents, or 7.4 percent, to close at $2.03 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. Isonics shares added a penny in after-hours trading on the INET electronic exchange.
Companies that make surveillance equipment, which could be used to prevent an attack, also rallied in trading. Digital Recorders Inc. shares rose 7 cents, or 4 percent, to close at $1.81 on the Nasdaq. Shares of Ipix Corp., which makes digital surveillance and imaging products, jumped 17 cents, or 7.6 percent, to $2.41 on the Nasdaq.
Shares of Magal Security Systems Ltd., which makes alarm systems, rose 41 cents, or 4.3 percent, to $9.98 on the Nasdaq, then added 4 cents in the aftermarket.
CACI International Inc., which provides information technology services to the federal government, rose 49 cents to $60.40 on the NYSE. Armor Holdings Inc., which makes armor for vehicles and troops, rose 21 cents, to $44.45 on the NYSE.
Sam....good move!!! As they said on VMHVF, Hold for the Gold!!!!! 1:50 reverse split should get you there, at least for a few minutes!!!!
Texas...Do you have the drop-test results for the CT???? Will it survive a drop from the truck driver's cab to concrete???? What's the battery life???
"If someone on the board can find a device that has the qualities of this product I would like to see it."
Does General Electric and Siemens have their export licenses yet??? Are they selling shares and use a stock promoter??? Do they have backup service and tech help around the world???
miningguy2004...I think you are too!!! I haven't posted at RB in a couple of years....hot bed of pump and dumps. What alias do you use at RB????
Jersey...you shouldn't pass on info you can't confirm.....
I don't care if it's a trusted friend or whatever... My friend at Fidelity said anyone who holds a pink sheet stock for more than a day or two pump and dump is a freaking moron....but he is not a spokesperson for Fidelity, so please disregard....LOL!!!
Do you mind if I email AG Edwards with a copy of your post and ask if they are selling HISC shares they don't have?????
USGL finally pulling back....gonna watch that one closely for an entry point...
GLW finally broke through $25...had been hitting a wall there a few days ago.....
OT: mnfats...I'll end up losing about $300 bucks on TDYH "IF" the buyout occurs at $4.50....never buy and hold a pink sheet or OTC stock!!! LOL!!! Some of the guys will make some good bucks if they bought under $3.00......
jonesieatl....PA is being bought out for $25 a share...the highest it has been since the announcement is $24.85. With a pinkie, there is even more investor concern that the buyout may not happen, so it looks like the "street" has it priced based on the pinkie-risk for now....
Anyone know how many shares you have to own to get news the day before it's released???? TIA....
You guys are a riot....thanks for today's laughs.
Bad start to the year, IMO...selloff in Japan, Yahoo/Intel hit, "Buffett Issues Warning Over Trade Deficit"....... Energy and precious metals, buy and hold......IMO....
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060118/warren_buffett.html?.v=3
hogfan2...haven't had a chance to check your DD, but I assume you must be right as no one has posted a disagreement. Welcome to Pinkville where anything goes including a PR about a shareholder "customer"..... Good find....
Manipulation is fun to watch!!! Did the company and investees agree to stop dumping for a day????? Or is it an illegal news leak to favorites???? IMO.....
A sale to a stockholder????? So he sold himself on the system rather than the sales team???
needy...I'm going to hold for the $4.50 offer... The risk is now if the deal falls through, the company has pretty much stated what their worth is with this announcement so no telling what will happen to the pps if the deal falls through. Maybe they couldn't get the Amex listing for some reason or there are other problems we don't know about such as depletion rates on existing wells. I doubt very much that a better offer will show up....this isn't like J&J and BSX fighting over a company, IMO....
Spencer...I think some like to own stocks that go up in pps when good news comes out...I guess it's just investor nature..
TRCPA..."What point are you trying to make?"....are you really serious??? LOL!!!!
WMSI is channeling stocks pick....up 32%....
trading4art...sometimes your "half full" cup has too many people drinking out of it!!! LOL!!!!
430,000 share dump at 5 cents, that's $21,500 folks...maybe some light bulbs will begin to go on....that's almost(?) equal to the CT sale PR'ed....IMO... Big money in pumping and dumping....
PS: Got screwed today by my only pinkie, TDYH....NOT going on the Amex, selling the company for $4.50 a share (we figured $10-12 if listed). Thank God didn't bet the ranch and "only" losing about 50 cents a share......
Starshine...TDYH probably won't reach $4.50 because it's NOT a done deal yet.....
Could be some back door deals with management that we will never know, IMO..... Some poor guy sold 400 shares at $3.55 at the open...guess he didn't see the news first...
Huh?????? WTF!!! No Amex????????
hogfan2...made or lost money??? It's a pinkie, they can pretty much say what they want...the first 10Q or K should tell the whole story when/if they list on the OTC, IMO....
Basically a small taxi cab company (no web site), but it's a start!!!!!

Channeling Stocks pick will be out this morning...I'll try to remember to post the pick so we can watch the pump and dump....
I think it's released about 10:00 AM....
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/hottestchannelingstocks/
SEPT. 12, 2005 ...(PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) announced today that it has submitted its application to the US Department of Commerce to secure an export license.
Does it really take over 4 months to get an export license???
We're not talking exporting rockets or jet fighters here!!!!!
CaptWhizbang...."HISC will uplist"....I give that a 50-50 chance, although it shouldn't be that big a hurdle to get on the OTC.....could be, if they have to stop selling shares while being approved, LOL!! Another 50-50 chance on acquiring Actsoft after uplisting, IMO....
Old posts sure are a good indicator of company credibility, IMO..... FASC is very lacking in that...

Excuse me, but the following is what is actually the case.
1)Thermix and FASC were both seeking partners to enable themselves to become involved in the alternative energy sector. Thermix is a private company. The two formed a new private company, AgES, which combined technologies of both companies.
2)Hydro Quebec undertook an analysis of the new private company AgES, the technology, and all of the principals involved.
3)Hydro Quebec subsequently invested $1 million CDN in the private company, AgES and accepted a 20% share of the company.
4)FASC (OTCBB) shareholders continue to own 40% of the private company, AgES.
5)Atlantic Packaging is currently running a KDS system provided by AgES.
6)Churchill Downs Inc is currently involved in a process which, if completed, would utilize an AgES system to power racetracks.
7)Significant revenues from the above sources or other similar sources will change the current picture to one of commercial credibility.
If anyone knows of any of the above that is incorrect, please clarify for me if you can.
Oh, and please show me SPECIFICALLY how you came up with your computation of officer's compensation.
Surely you undertook such a calculation before you just spouted off, did you not?
Uhm, I kind of think we all know the answer to that one.
LOL,

NSW...........I know your world seems to consist only of dark clouds, but did it occur to you that Zeo has filed SEC reports for a U.S. listing, and that it already has a contract in hand (with CZC) with Halliburton?
Does that sound like a company that has "little concern for its shareholders?"
Geesh, you are really something, you are.
TR
Saturn...I totally admire Tom Mitchell and the other folks that started Actsoft and were able to do it as a private company. I really wonder if the acquistion will ever be completed...if HISC can really pull it off. In the meantime Actsoft is probably making money as a supplier to HISC...
hisc-investor...that's my feeling too...if there is money to be made, the deep pockets will jump in and get the biz, HISC doesn't have lock on the market nor do they have deep pockets, IMO.... As always....if it sounds too good to be true...............
Well, I just hope they don't shut the car/truck down in front of me on I75 at 70 mph.....I see some major liability problems there... Can't they determine if it's parked first?????
Waitedg...thanks for the info...looking forward to the stock tips from your Prostate examination.....
Texas...do a "GPS" search at their website...for some reason my search results link didn't take you there.....upper right hand of page...
